#b/c sometimes they're 0% men

good evening, I like you're copia paintings, but i don't like the body hair so much. could you make them (the one in the shower and with the braces) without the hair or less hair? that would be cool :-)
First, thank you for taking the time to message me and even more for liking the silly art I make.
Honestly, the short answer is: no
The long answer is: No, not for free, because:
a) logistics: I am a traditional artist. I can't just remove the hair layer or something - I'd have to redo the entire painting. That's quite a bit of work right there.
b) personal preference: Much of the art i put out there, even if it was requested by strangers or some kind people on discord or something, I still do in a way that I like. Because I do this shit in my precious free time for 0 Moneys (usually, sometimes someone buys one of the originals), so I might as well do them in a way that I would enjoy seeing. And I just happen to prefer them like this.
c) they're literally middle aged(+) italian men. Have you ever seen a middle aged italian man? They have hair. And none of them (except maybe Papa III) strike me as the type to sit down for a waxing session.
Please don't get me wrong, I don't want to be rude here or shit on your taste, because this obviously is a matter of personal preferences/ headcanons. But: no.
But, (advertsing jingle here) if you really want me to do Copia (or anyone else) with a shiny sparkling chest, send me a message off anon and commission me with that. Because if you throw some money at me, then YOU are the boss and I paint whatever the hell you want! Prices for watercolour works comparable to the suspenders series start at ~60-75 €, depending on the complexity of your wishes.
Sorry if this sounded rude.

As someone who doesn't read/care for cheating fics, it has to be a specific brand for me to really get into it? I think it's bc I'm a very emotional person who doesn't enjoy my heart in my ass from how angsty genuine cheating fics ? Especially when they make the reader just accept it like no bro bro yr getting a fucking chair to the dome for that shit. The one flavor/niche of cheating fic I do enjoy is what you were talking about where it was before the (typically yan) got with darling. And they're trying to grovel and prove that you're the only one they want and darling can use it as a tool to manipulate or blackmail them. Maybe I'm just into watching men cry......-damian anon
no that's so fair . i think im an angsty/whump lover but ngl sometimes i think im not whumpy enough to truly be a whumper LOL ...
its like theres angst without comfort (which i like) and then theres WHUMP which tends to just make me wanna die... ig if its cheating/angst/suffering ... either there has to be a tinge of hope, or it has to be both parties being angry and mad. like there needs to be an equal playing field, i (the darling) cant just be getting abused for 40 chapters straight glfjgsij@$dhsjo. like u said, i agree i kinda hate when the reader is a wet towel and just accepting being cheated on like HELPPPP ?
if i write it, reader never finds out b/c even if they did, it was pre-relationship. might be fun for the reader to be lowkey toxic anyway and be give a cold shoulder like 'you had sex with someone that wasnt me and you say you're my yandere....? no. actually .... you're nothing... :0'
A CHAIR TO THE DOME IS SUCH A FUNNY SAYING LMFAOO
and i agree i enjoy men crying <3

Apparently we've now reached the point where my roommate’s shitty fiancee is staying overnight WITHOUT her around B)
He doesn’t pay rent, is not on the lease, supposedly has his own apartment, and I definitely did not sign up to live with this guy. Him living here is only barely tolerable when my roommate is around, but with her out of town there’s no reason he should be here... I think I might finally have grounds to complain to them at least.

dearest cis allies: you know i love you. just. please. don't blindly reblog discourse from trans accounts. if they're aggressive in the notes to well-meaning questions or other trans people who disagree then just ignore them, i beg you. sometimes trans people are trolls and they deserve as much of a platform as cis trolls.
choosing not to reblog a trans person's posts won't take your allyship card away!!! just block them and move on!!

first of all, please know that this is not a call-out post. i'm not vagueblogging anyone. furthermore, i'm not telling anyone how they "should" interact with fandom; i'm definitely not saying anyone's bad or bigoted. this is just an observation.
i've noticed a pattern in fandom where slashficcers will set out to write femslash or non-slash-focussed fics but almost immediately pivot back to slashfic. there's a whole bunch of authors i like (ficcers and irl published) who either start writing or say they're going to write, like, femslash or a-spec protagonists, and then a) write a small thing and nothing else, b) write something that's pretty obviously half-hearted (eg not up to their usual standard), or c) just......don't.
i think we need to talk about it.
much as we hate it, fandom's as prone to centring cis men and cis maleness as the rest of society. (check out the Fanlore articles on Migratory Slash Fandom¹ and Two White Guys² for a couple of examples.) in this case, i think it means that fannish folk (myself included!!!) unconsciously spend much more of our time developing the cis male characters than we do anyone else, which in turn means we struggle far more to create fanworks about non-cis, non-male characters.
it makes sense, like on a biological level - while our brains are highly malleable³, they prefer the path of least resistance when effort is required⁴ ⁵. so because we've been socially conditioned to prioritise cis men and their experiences, even the most progressive among us will unconsciously prefer cis male characters.
(the same thing explains why fandom falls to amatonormativity⁶ ⁷ and generally fails to write about aro characters without coupling them up.)
now, as i said, this is not a callout post. instead, i just want to encourage all fannish types to really evaluate our attention - are we unintentionally reinforcing social norms and contributing to marginalisation? i know i've had to do some serious rethinking. let's make fandom more diverse!
---------
i had wanted to say more (i haven't even touched on race or ableism), but i've run out of time. please, if you want to add to this, try to keep it value-judgment-free - we all have biases to address and shaming people for things they've never had to consider is the opposite of helpful.

before you write that snarky post aimed at young folk, please please pause and think:
when i was a teenager, how did i feel when adults were sarcastic at me?
brutal honesty is only effective in close irl relationships, with mutual trust and respect. sarcasm is appropriate for discussions among peers, not aimed at people who are genuinely ignorant. what's the point of being correct if it alienates the very people who need to hear it most?
kindness is PARAMOUNT. be honest, but be gentle in your honesty: if you wouldn't speak that way to someone you admire, then don't do so to strangers.
