#aziraphale patron saint of queer people

hello lovely people!
i was wondering if there were any historical fics that specifically look at queer history? it could be just aziraphale or just crowley, them together or not together. it could be as far back as sappho and as recent as legalisation of gay marriage.
thank you!
Hi! We have #queer history, #pride parade, and #queer guardian angel aziraphale tags on which you will find fics of interest. Here are more to add to the queer history collection...
An Angel and a Demon Walk Into a Bar- and there is No Punchline Because this is the 80s and Everyone is Sad, Gay and Repressed by DontOffendTheBees (M)
“So you’re not here to dance.” Crowley ducks his head, his long and impressively voluminous hair tumbling about his face as he nudges his aviators down his nose, peering at Aziraphale with those cunning yellow eyes over the top of them. He smirks like the wily old serpent he is, savouring the next words he speaks. “Now, what else could possibly lure a confirmed bachelor such as yourself to an establishment like this?” In which Aziraphale gravitates to the comfort of a queer space, and winds up in need of further comforting.
and at least in this lifetime (we're sticking together) by vivelegalite (T)
[GOD, NARRATING] People tend to be torn as to which side could be credited with legalisation of gay marriage across all of the United States of America. Most people consider it an act of Good, which it is of course, and attribute it to Heaven. Some, a much less pleasant lot, argue it to be the work of Hell. They tend to back their claims up with improperly translated lines from a book the Almighty had never actually written or even really bothered to read through — I tend to outsource that kind of work — and speak of God’s will and whatnot. Both groups are, however, mistaken. The legalisation of gay marriage across all of the United States of America was brought about not by Heaven, not by Hell, but by a tragically smitten demon with a rather high alcohol concentration and a plan.
Eziraphael's Gifts: A History of Queer Faith and Longing, by Natasha Marie Johnson (Beacon Press, 2019). by actualbat (G)
"If Eziraphael has come to be known--in today's language--as the 'guardian angel of sad queers,' then it makes sense for him to have shown up more regularly in the past once that became a recognizable historical category." Natasha is really glad that she's given this talk enough times to be able to do it on autopilot, because those two funny-looking men in the back just made the most absurdly astonished faces. (Or: Not all historians ignore gay subtext, and not all immortal celestial beings have their shit together. Also, voodoo.)
it's the light (it's the obstacle that casts it) by bibliocratic (T)
It's like having a curtain pulled back on something he wasn't expecting to see. A surprise punch-and-judy at an up-scale restaurant, a lobster thermidor when he's ordered an ale. Crowley's gleefully trying to wrap his head around the fact that Aziraphale is speaking Polari. Because of course he is. Or: The Patron Saint of London's LGBT Community is real, and he lives in Soho.
Under the Blazing Sun, Thy Footsteps Track by Elfgrandfather (T)
Aziraphale and Crowley keep finding themselves mixed up with a rather queer lot, and eventually have to contend with what it might mean, both about their own identities and their relationship to each other.
Surpassing All the Stars by KannaOphelia (M)
There was a faint tracing of scales along the woman's cheekbones, tracing down her thin arms and lean thighs. The nipples on her pale, almost flat breasts were dark as night. Fiery red curls fell over dagger-sharp shoulders sprayed gently with more black scales, and the golden eyes were wide and snake-like. The woman was beautiful, but hardly human. "Crawly," the woman said with disgust. "Was that the best you could do, angel?" "I said I didn't have much imagination." Aziraphale's lips were heavy, and she was almost sure she wasn't forming the words properly. There was some kind of spell over her, holding her almost immobile. The venom must have been paralytic. If she had been human, she supposed she would have been dead. Her corporation didn't like it much either. "What name would you prefer I use for you?" The stranger tipped her head on one side, considering. "Crowley?" Aziraphale almost laughed. The whole situation was simply too irritating. If she was to die now, at the hands of some local deity, the paperwork hardly bore thinking about. And her precious work on Sappho's poetry, gone. "Crowley, then. You're a nymph of some kind, I take it?"

I think aziraphale is the patron saint of heresy. I don’t mean that he would do anything to affront god, but i feel like he would help people no matter what a silly pope said. If you pray to him, suddenly your abortion becomes a lot easier to get. If you pray to him, you will find other queer people. Aziraphale is who you pray to when the church can’t help you

Soho's Very Own Patron Saint *Cough* Cryptid *Cough*
Soho's Very Own Patron Saint *Cough* Cryptid *Cough*
by Watermelonsmellinfellon
Honey and her wife Lemon had become a part of the queer culture of Soho, and in doing so, had become part of the best - or worst, it really depends on who's asking - hidden secret ever. Soho had its very own queer cryptid! A Mr. Ezra Fell who had a spouse just as mysterious as he was, and who had been around for a very long time, inspiring the queer youth just by being himself.
Honey has made the choice to digitally record this discovery for future queer people to find comfort in, because it is a story that should be shared, but only with those who will respect it.

Aziraphale as unofficial patron saint of queer people throughout history
Aziraphale being fluent in queer slang and polari
Aziraphale's being the only bookshop daring to stock The Picture of Dorian Gray during the trial
Aziraphale offering his shop as a refuge for queer people needing safety, somewhere to duck away from the world, from persecution, from harm
Aziraphale being nicknamed Mother Gloria by those who he loves and protects, which makes him cry
Aziraphale stocking and selling all sorts of books dealing with LGBTQ themes and issues, the only books he is happy to see people buy
Aziraphale who keeps a supply of spare dust jackets to hide books in if it isn't safe for you to have them out in the open
Aziraphale who always miraculously has the kettle just boiled with enough for one more cup every time you most need a chat
Aziraphale having Crowley by his side in all of these endeavours because if the churches and "decent society" preach against something then surely any good demon would happily encourage that said something
Aziraphale and his bookshop becoming mythologised by the queer community, this man who seems not to age and who will always offer shelter and support, and his partner who will listen to your tales of any unkindness you've received and will see the perpetrator thoroughly upset and inconvenienced for it
Aziraphale being absolutely overrun with cards and gifts and congratulations when he finally first calls Crowley his husband

mr. Bees i sprained my ankle and am bedridden until further notice, please rec me ur fav fics under 8k (that adhd attention span is fun)
I’m so sorry to hear about your ankle!! I’d be happy to rec some fics. i’m only tagging authors if they have their urls listed with the fic! if you want me to add your url, just lmk :). also if my mutuals have posted fics feel free to put them in the replies bc yall have Taste:
salinity and other measurements of brackish water by drawlight / @drawlight - 3.5k - if you haven’t read salinity yet, drop absolutely everything and do it right now because it’s phenomenal and atmospheric and it absolutely aches!!! “It's an odd thing, getting on after the End of the World. Crowley takes to sea-watching.”
quiet light and ad astra (explicit) by drawlight @drawlight - the first clocks in at around 2k and the second at 8k. it’s the shortest and most effective slowburn i have ever read. quiet light is unconfessed love; ad astra is a love confession and first time and they’re beautiful
everything just stops by witching - 4.5k - idk how long you’ve been following me but when i first read it i FULLY had a meltdown and took all of you with me. its that “i love you deep, angel” shit “I love your silly aziraphale things” shit! they have the tenderest fucking conversation in literary history while crowley is drunk in a bath it’s wonderful
a culmination of miracles by prettydizzeed / @genderqueercrowley - 1.3k - an absolutely beautifully written fic about crowley having chronic pain and informing aziraphale about it six thousand years later
i keep a window for you (it’s always open) by prettydizzeed / @genderqueercrowley - 2.4k - a complete fkcing war crime of a fic of crowley getting emotional about romeo and juliet and continuing to be emotional about it for centuries and then, even worse, quoting r+j in a love confession.
such surpassing brightness by handful_of_silence - 7.7k - one of my favorite fics of all time! aziraphale is the patron of queer people and has been for thousands of years! fuck!
it’s the light (it’s the obstacle that casts it) by handful_of_silence - 5.7k - “The Patron Saint of London's LGBT Community is real, and he lives in Soho.” aziraphale and crowley speak polari. literally so up my alley i melted when i saw it
your hair was long when we first met by aziraphvle / @aziraphvle - 1.4k - crowley asks aziraphale to cut his hair and we are taken on a thousand-word journey about how aziraphale loves his hair and loves him and it’s. a whole lot. bringing samson by regina spektor into it was entirely uncalled for. again i am Weak for aziraphale loving and caring for crowley.
and then i will kneel down (explicit) - 5.4k - f. fleabag omens. it’s the confession scene but it’s aziraphale and crowley. it is More than you could ever possibly imagine
hard feelings/loveless by witching - 2.3k - "Aziraphale said it was like the opposite of the feeling you’re having when you say things like “this feels spooky.” Crowley didn’t know what to make of that, but he expected it was something like the opposite of the feeling you get when the only person who truly knows you makes a cryptic remark suggesting that you can’t understand love. Crowley understood love all too well.”
the saddest part of my day by witching - 3k - "crowley is preparing to leave on a demonic assignment, and he's very nervous about leaving aziraphale in charge in his absence.” they have a very open and honest and loving and very adult conversation about their feelings and tbh? That’s My Kink
summer and his pleasures by witching (explicit) - 7.2k - “absence makes the heart grow fonder, and crowley and aziraphale’s hearts were plenty fond to begin with. a story told through phone calls while they are separated for work-related reasons.”
penance by blissymbolics / @blissymbolics (explicit) - 5.9k - praise kink/crowley finally gets off after six thousand years of trying
like a prayer for which no words exist by lipsstainedbloodred - 8.1k - “In which Crowley and Aziraphale do not dine at the Ritz after that nasty business with Heaven and Hell, and Crowley has an existential crisis instead.”
men have gone to heaven for smaller things than that by mercuryhatter - 713 words - Robbie Ross’ funeral. “Aziraphale finds an age slipping away from him.”
where you stay i will stay by mercuryhatter - 866 words - men at the Hundred Guineas Club went by women’s names. aziraphale chose naomi and paid to keep the name ruth available in case crowley woke up. aaaaa
the hour/the spot/the look/the words by planethunter - 2.5k - “Crowley watches Pride and Prejudice (2005) and it spurs a realisation.” you can imagine what a trial it is to read p+p 2005 being brought into good omens but life is nothing but suffering apparently, i’ve learned that this summer through this fandom
and the punchline to the joke is asking SOMEONE SAVE US by princex_N / @princex-n - 5.8k - “The fact of the matter is that Crowley was the first bitter cripple to limp across the face of this planet. It's been 6000 years and things don't seem to have gotten much better.”
birds of a feather by idiopathicsmile - 3.6k - idiopathicsmile of world ain’t ready fame. if your life can be divided into Before Les Mis and After Les Mis, you understand. “Aziraphale nests. Crowley relearns some crucial facts about angelic courtship rituals.”
covet by mirawonderfulstar / @mirawonderfulstar - 2.4k - “Aziraphale, little good though it did him, wanted desperately. He wanted with an urgency that scared him. He wanted wine, and cocoa, and the occasional tea. He wanted gravlax with dill sauce, and Pappardelle Bolognese, and those awful little iced biscuits they had at Tesco at Christmastime. He wanted dinners at the Ritz and long walks in the park and late nights in the back room of his shop. He wanted Crowley. Fervently, achingly, he wanted Crowley.”
indellible by greased_lightning_rod / @aziraphallist (explicit) - “It turns out glitter is miracle-proof and, also, that it itches. Crowley needs some help preening. He gets a bit more than he bargained for.” Wing kink. yall know i’m weak for aziraphale taking care of crowley sue me
get religion quick (cause you’re looking divine) by brinnanza - 4.2k - “So it was fine. Even if Crowley couldn’t love him, he clearly liked him well enough, and that was almost the same thing. It no doubt would have continued to be fine, or at least fine-adjacent, were it not for a narrowly averted apocalypse and several bottles of a really quite nice Riesling Aziraphale had found in the back room of his newly restored bookshop.”
the nuances of “together” by mirawonderfulstar @mirawonderfulstar  2.8k - “Everybody in the whole world can tell Aziraphale and Crowley are a couple. Everyone except, apparently, Crowley.”
listen (he’s already told you five times) by darcylindbergh / @forineffablereasons - 1.8k - “Not everything Crowley says is said out loud. Aziraphale doesn't always hear him at first, but he's learning to stop being surprised.” Love!!! Languages!
sudden and surprising moments of overwhelming affection by darcylindbergh @forineffablereasons - 2.7k - “Aziraphale has not shut up in thirty-four minutes. Crowley’s been counting.” O More I Love Your Silly Aziraphale Things Shit. if you’re a neurotic talkative gay and insecure about it that particular genre of good omens fic is ruinous.
things truly terrible by darcylindbergh / @forineffablereasons - 1.2k - “Crowley has said some truly terrible things over the years, but this was the worst.” tooth-rotting-sweet love song-fueled confession.
tell me all the ways by tinsnip - 1.6k - “Crowley was out in the garden. Aziraphale was in his study, most definitely not looking out the window. Really. Really. One little speck of sentiment: was it so much to ask?” More! Love! Languages!
a name for earth by regencysnuffboxes - 1.1k - “Demons can’t say holy names, and Aziraphael accommodates his new friend accordingly.”
a home at the beginning of the world by stereobone / @stereobone - 5.8k - crowley just kind of. moves in with aziraphale. Meaningful Interior Decorating! Couch Metaphor! yall know what i’m weak for

“The narrative of the angel and his love for a demon is a common thread throughout, and is presented here as an embracing of individuality and freedom in the face of repression. This culminates in a series of paintings charting the often painful, eternally human acceptance of one's own identity – featuring many portraits of real life people and a self-portrait of Kowalczyk himself - and is crowned by a particularly affecting triptych. Untitled, the paintings on the left and the right show the angel longingly staring at the demon, with a mirror representation on the far side; in the centrefold, the two together, triumphant and en-coiled, markedly sexual in their postures, defiant and aggressive. In these divided times, such a triumphant expression of adoration is a liberating one.”
The exhibition 'Angel in the Out!House' will be shown at the Barkley Contemporary Art Gallery until August 12th.
I read such surpassing brightness by Handful_of_Silence a few days ago - in which Crowley stumbles upon a bunch of literature and art spanning two millenia about Aziraphale being the patron saint of queer longing  - and I just could not resist giving the painting from the art exhibition they visit a go!! It’s supposed to be a triptych but I don’t think I’ll have the time/energy to do the other two but! Here’s a suggestion of what the main one might look like at least, even if it’s much more 1920s and Fauvist/Expressionist than the artist specified in the fic but idk I just wanted to catch some of the emotion.

Aziraphale, patron saint of queers
A thought. According to my research (ie reading stuff on this hellsite), cherubim had responsibility for guarding the Garden of Eden, whereas principalities have responsibility for specific communities or groups of people. In the deleted scene from the script book, shortly before the French Revolution scene, Aziraphale has just opened his bookshop when Gabriel shows up to promote him. What if Aziraphale was promoted to principality at that point? And what if the community he was given responsibility for was the newly underground queer community? (Mollies, macaronis and so on.)

People seriously believe that Queen’s Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy was Crowley inspired? In what world what Crowley use the word romancing?
If Lover Boy is inspired by anyone it’s Patron Saint of Queer Artists Aziraphale and his discreet gentleman’s clubs.

can u rec me any fics with aziraphale and/or crowley messing with humans? it could be pranks or stuff like that, but i like fics that write about when the people around them can feel there is something not quite human about them
You'll want to check out our #cryptid aziraphale, #cryptid crowley, and #outsider pov tags for loads more fics with this kind of theme. Here are some that may or may not have been recommended before...

Saint Aziraphale: Patron Saint of All God’s Children
RebelGrrrl.com
Saint Aziraphale: Patron Saint of All God’s Children
This week in Rebel Saints, I went somewhat literal. Although not canonized by the church Aziraphale is a Folk Catholic saint dedicated to protecting all of the rebels out there. Saint Aziraphale is all over the world, protecting banned books, abortionists, queer people, and those standing up against sexual violence.
History
Aziraphale of Taranto was a third-century priest, who was supposedly excommunicated by the church for helping hundreds of women obtain abortions through the order of nuns in Taranto. The order also dealt in secret books banned by the Vatican, smuggling books all throughout Europe. (Note this is not dissimilar to Adam Weishaupt and the beginnings of the Illuminati. You can google Aziraphale Illuminati and get a lot of really bizarre answers) It may just be historical misogyny that Aziraphale is the saint and not the brave women who provided the abortions, but that is a question for hagiographers and Catholics, and I am neither. He was shortly thereafter murdered by a mob of townspeople. He is not considered a martyr by the church but his story has been passed on to rebels all throughout the ages, and has watched over us and kept us safe.
Modern Usage
The iconography of Aziraphale is used by abortionists all over the world for protection. I have talked to many clinic escorts who wear jewelry or have tattoos of Aziraphale for good luck. He provides inspiration and empowerment to a community that desperately needs it. But he is not just the patron saint of abortion. The banned book ring he (AND THE NUNS) started in the third century is rumored to have gone on until the 1200s. The largest banned book club in England in the 1950s was called “Friends of Aziraphale.”
Aziraphale has given many queer and trans people guidance on their journery, offering prayers to help solve the turmoil in themselves.
Many survivors of sexual violence have found solace and strength in Aziraphale, who had stood up to the Church in 314. They feel connected to his story, and whether or not his story is real, the strength people find in him is. Saint Aziraphale is who you pray to when the church has turned its back on you. Saint Aziraphale is what God should be, finding the strength to continue on even when the most powerful forces in the world tell you not to. May he bless us all.

has lesbian sugar momma ever gotten crowley a date? has he had sex from this? has he had sex in general? has he been in love? whats his orientation? b/c the about you have for him says queer and i was wondering what that means for him
Tumblr media
i love y’all horny on main lmao
(i’m joking.  maybe.  either way i love anons)
first:  do not reblog this post!!!!!  idk if anyone will but sometimes personals find my posts randomly and y’all need to ( velma voice ) Stop That.......
but yes to each of those!!!!  they have had sex, dates, romance, etc.  just not often.
near The Beginning of their time on earth, they still identified with non-humans more than not, so they still kind of.  didn’t really associate themself with humans at that point in time?  they weren’t in love with humanity yet, so they didn’t feel that level of attachment to singular people as much.  they became more caring as time went, doing things like showing jesus around, you know?  small acts of kindness since they can’t get away with grand gestures.  that wouldn’t be very Evil Demon Servant of Hell of them, would it?
again, i headcanon them as originally raphael, and “Saint Raphael is accounted patron of travelers, the blind, happy meetings, nurses, physicians, medical workers, matchmakers, Christian marriage, and Catholic studies” (raphael’s wikipedia page).  in the book of enoch, raphael is also mentioned as a figure seen and described as “who is set over all the diseases and all the wounds of the children of men, is Raphael.”  they were also given the task of healing abraham and saving Lot, then healed Tobit of blindness, and they probably just did a lot of other stuff too that i don’t feel like looking up bc i think my point is made well enough here lmao
so they’re known as a being of healing and for empathy towards humans.  obviously, a lot of this information mentioned is post-fall, but i just use it to characterize what type of angel they were always meant to be, even if they ended up on a different path in the series.  i hope that makes sense!  but because of this association, i headcanon they would often step in and heal people or (like with jesus) show people the world, as that was their intended purpose/patronage.  i feel like there’s a doctor who joke to be made here, but i’m just gonna jeb bush it and not actually make up a joke.
so they do end up getting closer to individuals.  traveling and healing is bound to bring you closer to people.  it has also led to them being hurt a lot because people die and they don’t.  they can’t exactly continue to put off someone’s death forever, they would never get away with it.  they try to become more aloof, put on a facade, and generally drive humans away from them.  they’ve got a demon image to uphold too!  can’t be getting on with people.  gotta be off-putting, intimidating, and generally very cool and sexy (maybe cool and sexy is not necessary by demon standards but they think it is totally necessary, very sinful to be seductive, right????).
but, as we all know, they’re a big softy, so it doesn’t really work out.  they’re a romantic that likes to care for people.  it’s just in them, and we see it in the show how they try so hard with aziraphale.  they got a lotta love to give and they feel unlovable as a demon, so someone pursuing and having and staying in a relationship with them is very fulfilling.  i’m not sure about a number because they got.........  you know, thousands of years to have had relationships, but i don’t think it would be very many when you consider how long they have lived.
sex is similar.  they can totally justify it because it’s a sin.  they’re very interested in it because it’s so human to have sex and is very much an active choice for them to make because angels/demons aren’t really sexual beings and it’s totally unnecessary, but it’s fun!!!!!!!!  it’s just something people do for pleasure a lot of the time, and that’s really cool, and they’re totally into hedonism lmao.  HOWEVER.............  they’re so awkward on every level, and they can get super embarrassed, and they never make the first move on that sort of thing.  that’s just them socially; they’re insecure and fear rejection or making a fool of themself.  and they try so hard to cultivate an image...  it just crumbles apart
anyways they kind of act like every romance or sexual interaction is completely new to them each time dfgblksdfn humans are so weird.................
also they don’t really identify as anything bc gender / physical sex characteristics are just human stuff to them, but would most identify with queer bc it’s a catch-all term the humans made up, and it’s the least label of the labels in their opinion lmao.  they don’t really care, let alone care to describe themself in human terms
as for with miss newton, they have had more experiences since becoming totally-not-friends-demons-don’t-have-friends with her.  she drags them out, has definitely taken them to bars, has definitely thrown people at them.  none of them have been particularly long-lived because they have been working much closer to aziraphale in recent years due to raising warlock, so they kind of have him on the mind most of the time.  but gosh darnit miss newton is trying, y’all
anyways, with rps on this blog, some verses will probably be different on a case by case basis with interacitons.  in their human verse that i’m currently having with vclvetwaistcoat, for example, things are obviously not as spread apart/rare for them, and they don’t meet aziraphale until later in life, so.
god did i answer all of the questions.  umm.  flirting?  they like to flirt toward people but get nervous when it’s aimed back at them.  but they like it.  i think that’s everything

Hey! would you happen to know of any fics that have Aziraphale's bookshop as a sort of queer safe haven? preferably with Crowley in them as well. thanks!
Hello! You can check out some other queer guardian angel Aziraphale recs here. And I’ve got more now...

“Um.”
“You’re safe here,” the second said gently, leaning towards her. “No need to worry.”

Nadia’s night away from her family is not going well. Turns out there are homophobes everywhere. But then she somehow ends up in a dark bookshop with two very friendly, very gay people, and the evening starts looking up. It almost starts to feel like she might not be alone in the world after all.

it’s the light (it's the obstacle that casts it) by bibliocratic (T)
It's like having a curtain pulled back on something he wasn't expecting to see. A surprise punch-and-judy at an up-scale restaurant, a lobster thermidor when he's ordered an ale.
Crowley's gleefully trying to wrap his head around the fact that Aziraphale is speaking Polari. Because of course he is.
Or: The Patron Saint of London's LGBT Community is real, and he lives in Soho.
Guardians of the Western Gate by Worts (G)
People say there's no such thing as magic, but people say lots of things. People who spend a bit more time observing, rather than talking, know that there's a little corner of Soho where you might find a glimmer. A circle of kindness that draws people in, centered around an ever so slightly queer antiquarian bookshop.
Or: An angel figures out his identity, with a little help from humanity. A demon hatches his most devious scheme ever with a little help from a spacetime teapot. And a college student finishes her damn homework, with a little help from both.

hi! thanks for all the work you folks do :) i’m just here to recommend the first good omens fic i ever read, and also my favourite — such surpassing brightness by bibliocratic. it’s an Aziraphale as Patron Saint of Queer People fic and masterfully put together. great characterisation, beautiful and creative writing, the whole nine yards.
Thank you!
such surpassing brightness by bibliocratic [G]
The revelation that Aziraphale might have been in love with him for thousands of years is surprising. The fact that literal books have been written on the subject comes as even more of a shock.

Hi, do you have any fics where Aziraphale takes young queer people under his wing/is a guardian angel to regular people? Thanks! ❤️
Hello! You’ll want to check out the Queer Guardian Angel Aziraphale (Good Omens) tag on ao3, but here are some of my personal favourites...
So Much to be Consoled as to Console by Arokel (T)
“What are you,” Crowley drawled, “the patron saint of queer kids?”
A series of lost souls over the centuries who prayed, whether they knew it or not, to the Angel Aziraphale.
look at those secret worlds by 5ftjewishcactus (T)
Nicque, a young trans woman, finds herself out in the rain as she avoids going home where she'd have to face her transphobic father. On her way to the library, she bumps into a kind bookshop owner, who offers to escort her safely to the library. He and his husband offer her more than projection from the rain.
Almost Familiar by MickyRC (T)
Warlock couldn't help being a little underwhelmed by Soho. There was nothing there that really struck him.
Except that bookshop. That weird little street corner that didn’t match up at all with the bars and clubs all around it. That place was interesting. The paint was chipping, and the windows were too dusty to see through, but it felt… safe, sort of. A calm little patch of quiet at the center of London’s hustle and bustle. Something about it was… almost familiar.
In which Warlock thinks he's been abandoned, Crowley and Aziraphale think Warlock is dead, and they all find each other anyway.
Reclamation by miraworos (T)
Years after the failed apocalypse, Aziraphale struggles to come to grips with his unintentional role in inspiring a centuries-old religious sect. It hardly helps that he only sees Crowley once a year on the anniversary of their Arrangement. The more time goes by, the deeper he slips into a mental fog he can't seem to climb out of. Can he find peace with himself after so long? Or will his inability to accept who he truly is cause him to lose Crowley forever?
The Good Demon by HolyCatsAndRabbits (T)
In this AU fic, Hell thinks the demon Crowley isn’t evil enough to merit the title of demon. As punishment, they turn him mortal, and if he wants his old job back with his powers and immortality, he’s got to seduce and cause the Fall of some angel named Aziraphale, who is serving as a campus chaplain, running a group for queer youth. Crowley thinks the assignment will be easy, until he meets the angel and his students, and discovers the kind of found family that he’s always wanted. There’s just one little problem: Crowley is a terrible danger to them all.
Their Own Side by fuckyeahdeafandasexual (NR)
It all starts when Crowley finds a book about Aziraphale.
#ace solidarity by EnchantressEmily (G)
When Rosemary's date learns about her asexuality, he doesn't react well - but then the couple at the next table take a hand in things.
