a webweave dedicated to one of the most meaningful stories i have ever told with people who i love very much. so so so so so grateful to @bonesfool for running this campaign and telling a beautiful story and trusting me to be in it. kisses and hugs and all the things. i can't believe this campaign is over now, but i am so so so so so grateful to have been a part of it. to telling more stories that are so meaningful.

hiii!! it's been good! i woke up around noon and after helping mom with some stuff i played some games with my friend. since then i've been just switching betwen tumblr, spotify and youtube. how are you? i hope you're gonna be okay, i saw your posts.

az really has been about learning to change and grow and move on from your past, from all the things you couldn’t control, to not forget what you went through but to heal from it, to be your own self-sufficient person who learns from the pain and doesn’t become consumed in it.

there’s a very different version of this story where winnie loses herself to revenge. but that wasn’t the way we told it. there’s a very different version of this story where she attaches herself to her grief so tightly that she can’t see a way out except to be consumed by it. but that wasn’t the way we told it. there’s a very different version when winnie has to break before they learn they need to be their own person. but that wasn’t the way we told it.

instead winnie was able to walk herself through grief and pain with people there to hold their hand and pull them out when she went too far. there were people to remind them that she is her own person. and so when her mom asked them if she could go, if she could truly leave her alone, winnie was able to let her.

my current d&d home game is a beautiful story about unlikely friends and heroes, divinity bestowed on the unwilling and the injustice of having your true nature taken from you, the survival against all odds of hope in impossible circumstances; it’s about pushing back against the hands of fate and saying no, i will do different, i will do better; it’s about turning to love even when it seems like nothing left is worth loving, insisting that there will be another day, another chance, no matter what.

it’s also a story about naming yourself after modes of transportation, having a weird little man on a leash, horses who want to kill you, turning into a pig-sized purple mushroom with legs, and working together to use the power of love and friendship to talk your best friends’ divorced dad out of killing himself. and also, what if robots were angels all along?

just went back in for more Azi health stuff and I have a mix of bad and good news.

The good news? With a small diet change they think she could make 17 years Easy. maybe up to 20 as long as we keep a close eye on her and get blood tests pretty regularly.

but the bad is that they don't know what's causing this current issue. and the blood work found that she is in early kidney failure.

so another round of tests, probably another round of antibiotics as soon as the test comes back. so uh. yeah. just a reminder that if you wanna support the little baby, you can
