About: I saw these in early January and for some reason did not pick them up. I probably felt proud that i didn’t buy yet some more plush but later i realized it was a huge mistake. Hmm, I've got a few that are very important to me in one way or another. I have this real old and VERY used halloween cat plushie that's been around the family before I was even born named Boo. I have a narwhal plush from my dad that he gave me when I first realized I had autism (fondly named Autism Narwhal). I also have a rainbow axolotl plushie I got from an ex and a very dear friend.

I have a good few other plushies I hold near and dear, but that's just a quick list

As for my OCs-

Riley has a wolf plushie Jack bought them when they were real young that they refuse to let go of under any circumstance, and Harlow has not only their Ralsei collection, but also a good lineup of pokemon plushies from when they were still hyperfixated on that.

Why you should start collecting Squishmallows.

In 2022, Squishmallows was the number one toy sold. I’ve personally been a squishmallow collector since the beginning of 2021. However, years before my collection of the toy, I was also a heavy collector of the Sumikko Gurashi plushes. Sumikko Gurashi is a small collectible squish just like a Squishmallow from the company called San-X. They’re almost identical, and actually, Jonathan Kelly, the man who created Squishmallow, was inspired by the Sumikko Gurashi when he visited Japan.

Here are a couple of reasons why I believe Squishmallow is the best toy for anyone.

All of them are unique and special. If you ever bought a squishmallow, you will know each of them has a name and their character written on the tag. For instance, Tinley the Axolotl. Her birthday is on November 11, 2020. She loves to cook and recently became the head of chef for her new restaurant. She has a dish called Noni’s pasta, which is her specialty, dedicated to her Noni. Some collectors even speculate that one of the Squishmallows is inspired by the famous EDM DJ John Summit. Pyle, the lavender Squishmallow, has a description that had all the fans, both the squishmallow and John Summit, asking. The description for Pyle goes as follows:

“When the sun goes down. Pyle, the tax accountant, becomes DJ Pyle Remix, the hottest record-spinner in town. From disco to dubstep, this far-out fungus loves helping 'Mallows dance the night away. In fact, they sometimes boogie 'til breakfast! Got any requests?”

John Summit was also an accountant before his DJing career had taken off. These little details make Squishmallow fun to collect, and every time you get a new one, people get excited to see what kind of squish it is.

2. They’re actually soft and squishy. Now, I’ve been seeing and trying to find the perfect squishes this past year. Squishishable, which is a competitor of Squishmallow, also sells various plushes. I’ve touched them before, and they’re not even squishy. Squishmallow comes close to how Sumikko Gurashi feels, which is also, in my opinion, very squishy.

3. The third reason I believe Squihsmallow is the best toy for anyone is its multiple uses. Obviously, you can put them on a shelf and let them sit in the corner of your room. However, they’re also used as a pillow, so the squishiness I mentioned in #2 matters a lot!! No studies have been shown, but a lot of people claim Squishmallow has helped them fall asleep when hugging their Squishmallow. Alot of college students have them to release stress.

4. Lastly, they have multiple sizes. I know Sonny Angels is one of the top-rising toys for 2023. Yes, they’re also cute and collectible, but they don’t have multiple sizes like Squishmallows. Squishmallows can vary in size from 24 inches to 3 inches. There are also small squishmallow clips you can hang from your bags.

Does anyone else have a muse (or muses) that has a tendency to go about their day by bringing stuffed animals around with them everywhere they go? At 26, Muu doesn't stop at collecting toys and plushes as he occasionally can even be found playing with them from time to time, including even in instances outside of his own home. Those that he is currently very infatuated with having on his person on each and every errand ran are these little guys. One is a stuffed axolotl named Linus (as stated by the pamphlet it came with. He's not too keen on making up his own if he likes the given one) and another is a Pickles vs Cat plush by the name of Gumbo. He likes to call that one Jupiter the jumbo shrimp, or sometimes even just Shrimp for short. They are both pictured below.
