catching up on Awful Hospital & decided to redraw my old self-insert OC!!! her name is Annie Septic but she prefers the nickname Suds. she was meant to help keep the place clean, but the overwhelming filth of the Hospital gives her so much anxiety that she hardly ever leaves her little supply closet. it's actually not a bad place to hang out, if you don't mind the eye-watering smell of soap and bleach!

Another Awful Hospital fan character drawing I finished. Drawing is good as a creative exercise for me.
I liked drawing this one. Unsure if it's more or less odd compared to my last character drawing, but I like them all the same.

She does not have a real name, but has the nickname of Addie Pous.
She is like an old-fashioned nurse, from her outfit to her practices and medical arsenal of a fleam, and two separate jars of maggots and leeches. There's a few other things, such as a small handful of herb plants, a container of mango fly larvae...a recipe for tea cakes...and a posy she wears in between her lid.
While everything about her is outdated, she does wear a pair of latex gloves. Her reason for this is not to avoid contact with others, but for handling maggots as she doesn't want them coming into contact with her fat-based body or else they will certainly dig in. Figuratively.
She also has no legs. Addie is just a semi-solid mass of human (and other assorted) fats. This is somewhat useful as she just holds her things suspended in her form
She'd never use her equipment to purposely harm anyone. That's not how a nurse should be. But she is somewhat drawn to blood and/or fat, and may or may not look to absorb it from dead bodies and will utilize her fleam to gain access to it.
Being a nurse type of being, she has a habit of offering to provide some assistance to people suffering from minor ailments or injuries. Whether or not her treatments help or hinder may vary slighty.
She will avoid higher authority and human kind of people, though. Does not trust them. But she does like the latter's tissue.
Addie is based on axungia hominis, human fat supposedly used in medical practices. Her head is a apothecary jar, based on the ones in the image below.

I fucking… forgor to put her here. Finally made a full body design for my awful hospital oc. And she has a name now :)
Flanna Cameron. She’s infected with some sort of otherworldly disease or something else that is basically… solidifying blood into crystals. I’m not sure what it is yet.

First thing’s first - An intro to my oc, Apple!
Apple believes the hospital is his personal afterlife until he realizes he’s not alone. He ends up just bugging Jay and following him around until the two sort of form a bond out of nothing but necessity. In comparison to Jay, he’s practically a pacifist, but really he’s not afraid to get messy if he really has to.

I started reading a charming webcomic and I made a fan character some days later. æ
I'm still very new to it, but already I'm making a fan character. It's a habit of mine. Unfortunately.
This one might not really fit the narrative well, either, as it's not very medical-looking.
But I like the idea of making a wonky, grody, weird character.
Full images and more things below.
I call him Axle Ungia.
He's a human, maybe. Worked as a mechanic. Had an accident involving a broken car jack and 4000-something pounds of machinery. Something else happened during that time, but he doesn't remember.
Axle lost half of his mind and is trying to find the other half. Someone told him it just up and flew away. But he can't remember who.
The teal stuff in his head? is grease, most likely axle. Sometimes it overflows. His right brain just kind of swims around in that stuff.
Sleep only brings stress to this guy, so he's forced himself to stay awake. And his eyes are a little bit affected by this. Just a little. Eyedrops are valued by him.
Axle's gotten attacked by something recently. He thought it might have been a snake. He doesn't remember, but the resulting wound itches.
He kind of lights up in the dark, too.
And though this one might not fit the hospital theme at least not directly, I have a few other character ideas that might. I also have a few extra images of this character, but maybe later.

I will color and refine these drawings at some point, but uh… here.. Awful Hospital oc… she is unnamed for now-
To put it short, she was admitted to the hospital after developing some disease or infection or something that solidified and crystallized parts of her blood, causing it to erupt from her skin x-x
None of the doctors in the grey zone knew what the hell was wrong with her, so of course she one day woke up in the hospital.
(Fun fact! Her disease or whatever (haven’t decided what it is yet) is based off of a real virus in the leporid family that causes the infected individual to develop keratinous growths on or near their head!)
