Charming Killer (Series) by @writing-makes-me-human
Pairing: Neteyam x Fem!Human!Reader

Summary: You get chased into the wilds of Pandora with a broken communication collar and a bullet wound, but Neteyam finds you. He goes to kill you but an omen from Eywa stops him, and as he approaches you he realizes you are his destined mate.
Personal Notes: This fic has fated mates but with the added drama of Mama Neytiri wanting to kill the reader. Aside from that drama though, it's definitely one of the cutest fics I've read and I love how adorable Neteyam is when he's trying to be all over the reader. I also really like how they are learning about each other culture's together. Neteyam "hates" humans so he was never around many humans growing up like his siblings, and reader doesn't know anything about Na'vi mating or their courting rituals - so they slowly learn together and are really cute about it.
Just a word of warning though, this is an incomplete fic and the author hasn't been around on Tumblr for a while so I have no idea when (or if) it would be completed, but it's such a good story that I think its worth the read even if it never gets completed. They did a really great job with it!

Welcome to my Avatar Ficmas Recommendations List!
This list is going to be an accumulation of all the fics I'm going to spotlight during the month of December in honor of @anemonelovesfiction and @shit-i-say-shit-i-think's Avatar Ficmas Event!
This is probably not quite how you both intended the event to be done, but I hope you don't mind how I'm setting this up. I love the idea and I want to take advantage of this opportunity to show some love to the fics/art that made me happy these last few months (especially to those that I just creeped on the first time I read them before I started actually being active 👀)
Each day, I'll make a post highlighting a fic or piece of art that I love (linking the content & creator, of course) as well as write a small blurb of personal notes (which is essentially me just gushing about how great they are lol), and then link those posts to this list.
This list is in no particular order - all these works have my entire heart (and panties in most cases).

Summary: Neteyam was so used to being the golden child of his family, always doing as he’s told… he wanted to be bad sometimes too. He wanted to be the one that would teach you all these filthy things. All the things you were never allowed to do, talk or even think about.
Personal Notes: Corruption kink at it's finest! Each chapter of this series is absolutely amazing and hot and I would 100% let Neteyam corrupt me any day. Luna does a fantastic job with portraying the reader as naive, but not dumb, and Neteyam is the perfect blend of "sweet best friend who only has your best interests at heart" and "obsessive, manipulative, and corrupting man who will stop at nothing to take your innocence." I’ve reread this series so many times and I’m (im)patiently waiting for the final chapter to drop even though I’m dreading the series ending.

@shit-i-say-shit-i-think and I wanted to find a way to help boost other authors for their hard work and writing they’ve done and was also inspired by @pandoraslxna for having done kinktober and kind of wanted to keep the holiday cheer going!
It’s written down below in greater detail as well but we’ll make our own posts between December 1st - December 24th
Anyone that is willing can feel free to participate and I will explain the details of how to do this below! Feel free to recommend kinktober works too, we don’t discriminate!
1. Post 3-5 Fic recommendations on monogamous couples by writing the title, the author (with a tag), and the pairing it includes
Example
“Fated Mates” by AnemoneLovesFiction (Ao’nung x Fem Human! reader)
“God of War” by @shit-i-say-shit-i-think (Rotxo x Ash Na’Vi reader)
2. This follows the same prompt & examples as the first option, just making sure that you specify the characters involved within the story. The number of recommendations is up to you!

“ Growing in Eywa” by @shit-i-say-shit-i-think (Rotxo x Ao’nung x Fem Human reader)
3. Is pretty self explanatory.
Example

I would love to see more Spider x reader or Rotxo x reader.
And Polywise I’d love to see more Neytiri x Jake x Reader
*** Choose one of the ships someone else has posted, write a fic about it (fluff and smut welcomed) but please don’t forget to tag the author so they can see what you have written for them.
Please post these lists starting December 1st leading up to the 24th
For the third part where you write a fic for someone else, you will post this on the 25th as a little christmas gift for them! Don’t forget to tag them! (This can include fic’s or art!)
There is a high possibility that a lot of people won’t participate so feel free to write as many of these ships as you’d like! I think I’ll personally write as many as I can!

Summary: A game of truth or dare takes a turn when Ao'nung confronts you about a rumor he heard.
Personal Notes: Blue always has amazingly delicious fics, but this one just likes to stick with me. The fantasy of taking all three of these gorgeous men one after the other is too good to pass up. Ao'nung is such a cocky little shit, Lo'ak is a horn dog, and Neteyam is such a shy, nervous sweetheart and I need them all to rail me within an inch of my life. It's super hard to write more than two characters at a time, especially for smut, but Blue does it so well and it definitely makes for a must read fic!

He lowered his face, his lips curling in a snarl, “I should kill you.” The English words were stilted as he spoke, “But I will not. A life for a life.”
Personal Notes: This was THE fic that officially started my journey back into the fandom after ATWOW came out. First of all, I adore long works and this baby absolutely scratched that itch for me with its 100k+ length. Annalise's ability to write long and enrapturing fics is something that I greatly admire, and add onto that a unique and amazing enemies-to-lovers/forbidden romance plot (plus possessive Neteyam and Avatar!Spider) - you'll 100% be satisfied with this read.

Summary: “What, you’re surprised that all men aren’t sex gods?” You ask a little testily. “They want to experiment with a Sky Person, and I like sex with Na’vi men, so… win-win.”
Neteyam just frowns. "I don’t understand. Why do you spend time with them if they are not successful in pleasuring you?”
Boy, is that a loaded question.
“Maybe I’m just hoping one of them will really impress me.” You mumble, a little sourly. “I guess I’ll keep holding out hope.”
“I could.” He says. “Impress you, I mean.”
Personal Notes: Neteyam's a cockblock and the reader hates him - and it's so funny. Poor reader is just trying to get dicked down by Na'vi men (aren't we all?) and Neteyam keeps interrupting her hookups. This is one of those "boy tries to show off and impress the girl, but girl thinks he's being cocky and trying to one-up her so she hates him" and it's fantastic. Mak is such an amazing writer and everything she writes is top-tier (even outside of the Avatar fandom), but this one is definitely my favorite.

Summary: The story of two idiots with poor communication skills and a whole lot of daddy issues trying to not kill each other on a daily basis.
Personal Notes: One of the absolute best enemies to lovers fics I have ever read! There's fighting, there's sexual tension, there's some funny moments with the Sully family - all wrapped up with the wonderful bow that is mean Neteyam. (And ugghhhh is he such an asshole in this lol). The plot is great, the smut is *chef's kiss*, and the dialogue flows really well which is something I always appreciate in writing. Lys also made sure to go hardcore with the angst, and she's a little too talented at it - I still haven't recovered.

Personal Notes: The mastermind behind the Neteyam x Flora crackship! I picked this comic because if I had to choose between all of her art - this is the one I would pick (but everything she create is so good and I'm honestly so amazed with every piece she puts out). The coloring and facial expressions of the characters are always so good, especially the teary, dazed, fucked out eyes of the woman as they get railed within an inch of their lives.
Also! Her art and ship are so good that it inspired an entire fic Mi Ti'ong (In Bloom) by @theblueflower05 which is definitely a must read cause it's absolutely amazing!

Summary: You and Neteyam have been bound to the hip ever since you were born until your 17th birthday, when Neteyam leaves you without saying goodbye. Everything changes as soon as you get a gift that will bring you back together, for better or for worse.
Personal Notes: When I say that Andra is a literal goddess with her writing, I'm not even kidding. I will always bow down to her story telling abilities cause they continuously take my breath away. Please, for the love of god, have a box of tissues next to you when you read this because the angst and heartbreak is 📈 and this masterpiece had my emotional ass hooked. It's a Best Friends to Enemies to Lovers (which is always amazing), but also focuses on tougher subjects too as the reader struggles with both her mental health (PTSD, depression) as well as a life threatening disease, and follows her journey on how she deals (or doesn't deal) with all of it. The characters are fleshed out and feel real, and I think the pacing/flow of the story works really well.

Summary: Neteyam is kidnapped by the Olo’eyktan alpha from a nearby clan who claims that Eywa has destined them to be soulmates. Only weeks away from fully presenting as omega, Neteyam is caught between trying to find his way home and giving in to his primal desires.
Personal Notes: First of all, A/B/O Dynamics are always going to have my heart. Second of all, I still feel like it's very rare in this fandom that we get LGBTQ+ representation, and it's even rarer to find male x male fics. And this one is so good???? Like omg?? The story is fantastic and Eclipse's writing and the way she describes things has me captivated. Her original characters are so well developed and they play off of Neteyam and the other existing characters so well and idk how to better say that they just feel real.
