I just randomly scrolled on Twitter and found out that they killed austin off and I'm sitting here laughing because his death has made no noise on here or Twitter.😭😂
Sidenote: Frank needs to take this moment as a lesson on why you need to stop hiring your friends on this show when it's not needed at all. See how no one moved from hearing this character died.🙃

Is it just me or does Austin's backstory make zero sense? It's almost like they're trying to reconcile his original Quartermaine/Jimmy Lee Holt origin with this Cyrus angle, and it actually doesn't work at all.
His family was well off enough to own that ranch he met Maxie in, and for Cyrus to want to go into business with them but not well off enough to fund his medical school on their own? I don't get it.

Here are the previews for tomorrow's episode of GH.
While we don't actually see Blair, we can safely assume that she's the one introducing herself to Tracy and also the reason that Martin appears spooked behind his menu.
Also of note is that Roger Howarth (as his current GH character, Austin) is in these previews, meaning it's confirmed that he and KDP will both appear in the same episode. Whether or not they'll share any scenes, of course, who knows. I would have been willing to bet money they'd at least bump into each other in a cheeky nod to T&B, but TVLine's report of Blair's scene partners (Tracy and Martin) made no mention of Austin.
I look forward to recapping Blair's appearance here on the blog tomorrow for those Blair and T&B fans unable to watch live.

it's been like a month or so that I've seen this show, so here we go...
best parts of friday's episode:
Kevlaur. omg Kevlaur. Jon should be on contract. Team Kevlaur doing sleuth-y things together.
Kevlaur in the matching colors. Whoever keeps putting Laura in deep blue gets points because it makes her eyes pop
that whole convo w Ava and Austin when she's giving him a hard time about using old terms
Valentin going from passionate to "who shot you" in 0.5 seconds
Ava directly telling Austin he's SO bad at this
things that annoy me: writers never know what to do with Laura outside of Cassadine chaos, family mess, and mayoral stuff. we just did more stuff w her brothers, so... here
also, I guess we're trying to make Fiz a thing AGAIN? plz no
parts of my life I can't get back:
that awkward conversation about ordering food only for Michael to show up 0.01 seconds later to make it all a moot point
the whole "check yes or no" montage
the beginning of that date with Fiz. of course you're glad she came. that's why you invited her. and clearly you didn't feel like burning the note. Why tF are they acting like they've never dated each other? this is first date vibes, but they're coming back together
