Shiki is capable of casting Curtains! She's decent with barriers.

Fun fact: Choki worked very hard to be able to draw Curtains, in order to become an appropriate assistant manager for Shiki. The first time that he accompanied her on a mission, however, Shiki automatically drew her own Curtain. He was secretly disappointed.

I'm joining a volunteer program to help out in the computer science classes at local high schools. Finally I get to fulfill every young adult's worst nightmare of returning to high school at age 26.

#but actually though i think itll be a fun time #the gist is that comp sci courses are pretty New in a lot of these schools #and they don't necessarily have staff who are well-equipped yet to teach them #so the volunteer program is for industry professionals to give guidance to the teacher and give assistance in class to the students #to like strengthen the program #there's training ill get over the summer for like. how to do this well #ive got the summer to unbecome the XKCD Feldspar comic #chrissy speaks

tma makeup headcanons:

Jonathan "serving cunt" Sims:

S1 Jon doesn't know what makeup is (he absolutely wore eyeliner every single day at uni but he's not letting everyone else know that)

He like spot conceals but that's about all he feels comfortable getting away with while maintaining his air of professionalism

He also despises the feeling of foundation on his face

S2 Jon is barefaced as the day he was born. My man's last priority is how he looks, he's too busy buying axes in central London and stalking his coworkers

S3 Jon has none of his makeup with him but he's got loads of spare time and Georgie has a whole drawer so he experiments a little bit, he goes for Kajal (black pencil eyeliner lining the inside of your eyes) instead of his previous winged eyeliner but he hesitates at the any colour because she managed to pull it off but he's never been one for drawing attention to himself like that but one day he goes for a burgundy or like dark purplish red colour and he's quite pleased with himself

I feel like Jon would go for a natural kind of look, with concealer and a skin tint at best, some dark brown eye shadow to deepen his hooded eyes and kajal

Martin Kslaying Blackwood:

Ugh I love this man so much

I'm literally such a fan of trans Martin it's pretty much canon to me so I'm headcanoning that he's very hesitant about makeup cause he was a late transitioner and had only just gotten used to passing recently so he doesn't want to do anything to risk that

But he's such a slut for a nice little blush or like a subtle lip tint

He goes for powder blushes cause liquid ones feel sticky on his face and also powder blushes just Look Nice

He also likes lip tints cause he's constantly rubbing off lip products, with the multiple mugs of tea a day and it's getting awkward handing Jon mugs of tea with faint lipstick stains on them

He keeps an emergency kit in his bag with like some eyeshadow if he needs to darken his facial hair and on a whim he puts a baby pink powder blush in there and a matching lip tint

So it's not like he decided to bring it to the safehouse, it was just sort of there

Jon finds it and he's like let's go, we're going down to the shops and buying some, we're gonna do some experimenting and Martin's like oh!!

When he was working for Peter Lukas, he was also barefaced, he didn't want to give him the satisfaction of thinking he put effort in

Timothy "Take notes" Stoker:

This man is such a fun makeup guy

He's a random dots around his eyes, shimmery colourful inner corner, new colour every day, just drawing shit around his eyes kinda man

He's a no foundation no concealer kinda guy as well I think

ugh just can you imagine??? They have a little tally of what colours/patterns Tim's using today and somehow he never managed to repeat a look - it might be a repeated colour but the pattern or the way it's used it's always different

And then one day he just stops. He still wears makeup but the colours are more muted and they make his eyes look bruised in a very decisive way

It's almost as if he's spent ages on a look and then tried to scrub it all away

Sashay Away James

She's such a glamorous girly I feel like she really enjoys the process of makeup more than actually changing the way she looks

I'd love her to be doing the whole shebang, spending hours picking the right primer and stuff like that

She goes for the yeah I'm wearing makeup and I'm slaying look

I feel like she's so good at a little nose highlight

Can you imagine every day Tim greeting Sasha every morning with like a love the highlight girl and it makes her happy every single time

Oh she's such a fake freckles girly absolutely

Hated false eyelashes cause they feel weird

Not Sasha believes makeup is pushing feminism backwards

Moral Orel doesn't seem 100% like a show I'd feel seen in if you don't know me but then I remember the episode with the special ed kids and underneath the usual satire on extremist bible belt religion it reminds me WAY too much of how actual special ed departments treated me and other kids growing up.

Like the writers must HAVE BEEN THERE IN LIFE, man. I'd kill to sit down with Dino Stamatopoulos and find out what the fuck inspired him and the other writing staff that day.

#husbandothings #moral orel #bonus fun tag rant? bonus fun tag rant...apparently #in those departments you are immediately written off as a tragic forever toddler by at least 50% of the staff regardless of your disability #there's good ones but the bad ones bring the fun spicy trauma #it doesn't matter how smart you actually are you gotta draw the sad face on that boy on the comic sans worksheet at the age of 15 #in your free lesson spaces that you got because of reasons #if someone tells me they're a teaching assistant or have “qualifications” in autism and special needs development i immediately distrust #because I have never met a neurotypical person with those qualifications who knows how to treat kids like humans especially autistic kids #funniest part? I was mostly in the special ed department because of my hearing and not totally my undiagnosed autism #and a little because of wonky emotional development from get this...a freaking religious school #like i see adults in the show and i see the headteacher who tried to tell my parents i should forgive the bullies because jesus would #even though the truth is way more nuanced but he just wanted to wash his hands of it #it's funnier than it should be because that teacher would fit right in to this show for that and additional reasons I won't state here #my family were atheists but thought the school would be good #the weird thing is at that time as a little kid I liked the idea of believing in god but nothing that happened proved Him to me #and moral orel hits because it resonates with the fact i genuinely believe religion can do good and it's all about the people #the ones who want to use that faith for good in the world and surviving rough crap and not to do things that would make jesus flip tables #that has stuck with me for over a decade as has the people who felt the show reinforced their christianity #but anyway

The 9th episode of last twilight is a masterpiece

It has been years since anything made me cry the way this did. It made me...love. With the fulfilling and with the aching parts of love. It was so deep it made me miss my self. It is surreal how uncontrolled i was

The words 'gradually' and 'first time' were always on my mind. Like love that is built gradually and there is no love as the first true one. Trust and confidence too (for the first time we saw Day lead - lead the way, the confidence, the imagination).

Like the twilight metaphor. You have to wait to see it, it's something that is worth it and the first time you experience it is overwhelming. And adding to the fact that it is the first time, it was also the last. The last time Day saw a glimpse of a twilight and his first true love. As sad as it can be, if you accept your condition it can be so delightful to realise you can actually 'see'. And you can save that moment in your heart and live there forever. And that was a realisation beautifully led by Day.

And Mhok wanted to describe that twilight to Day but wasn't seeing it. And Day has an incredible imagination and a will to 'see' so he led the imagination. i was mesmerised but so uneasy as gradually got the understanding they would imagine the twilight, they and us would see it and the last image in Day's eyes would be Mhok. It was poetic - beautiful and astonishing but full of sorrow.

The way Mhok more generically described the twilight, and Day proceeded to make it more incredible. And it was so impactful that there was not an actual twilight. They imagined their twilight. The one that was part of their memories, their own concepts of beauty and love and the parts of their selves that were buried deep. It's ravishing.

And then Day admits Mhok is the last image he wants to see and proceeds to touch and look at him. And Day wants him to smile, because Mhok makes him smile. Made him realise he is loved and worth it. And gradually Mhok for the very first time cries in front of Day. And the love is not there, because it is everywhere. The love between them is pouring. And as much love has been the conductor of Mhok's behaviour, this specific moment it is overflowing. And then comes this perfect acted scene, where we can see love and pain from Mhok, the realisation the love of his life lost completely his sight, but then he himself was the last thing he wanted to see and that is love, and how can someone keep that inside without crumbling?!

This series is about love for yourself, for others, for life, for your worth, for your happiness, for your losses and gains in life, for what you get of yourself by keep living. i am wow. Hands down. i give up. Need a lifetime to get over this
