the april fools comic is amazing whatttt,,, i really thought i was gonna get rickrolled once i clicked the link from twitter 😭😭😭 you are absolutely a legend!!!
but im also kinda new to the idol amy au, (i think) i’ve read all of the comic pages released so far (the relationship drama is juicy mwah) and im still slightly confused— is it going to be shadamy endgame with sonamy and sonadow flavored sprinkles? or is it meant to be a love triangle-ish story (with heavy shadamy) like how the parody comic is?
I fully intend Idol Amy AU to be Shadamy-centric,
I don't really like the rivalry trope so the original comic isn't getting a love triangle of sorts, as for the parody comic the rivalry is just a thing to make the parody comic exaggerated and more cliche !!
Yes sometimes I sprinkle in Sonamy or Sonadow tidbits to the original comic, but most of the time it's for plot reasons or I just needed them to interact and I'm completely fine with readers shipping those two ships!!
Go ham with your headcanons!! Just remember to be respectful to each others' headcanon yeyses

I hope so, cuz I'm so curios on what's going to happen next not only in romance but action too!!
It won't have a continuation because it's an April fools special, but I will make human ver doodles if I have the time for it

i’ve probably reread your idol comic 4 times by now, it’s soooooo good and your art style is so wonderful it makes me so jealous!!! it’s so soft and clean at the same time!!
no pressure at all, but do you have a schedule for when you post the next pages of your comic? or even just an estimate of how often you post it?
great work on your comic!
I usually post new pages every 1-2 weeks depending on how busy I am that week :DDD
There will be slight delays here and there because of either Patreon commissions, occasions and much more
But I'll always make sure I'd get atleast 6-10 pages done within that time frame!

Is there a popular shadamy headcanon that you just don't vibe with?
Shadow thinking he's too good to like amy
I kinda don't like it when he goes like "But I'm the ultimate lifeform! I should not fall for someone as simple as Amy Rose!"
And the "Amy would *only* like Shadow just to make Sonic jealous/get back at him"
If you personally like these tropes/headcanons and write them that's completely okay!! These tropes can actually be good if written properly.

How come the emerald finder couldn't see Amy's emerald until she put it in the hammer but it could see all the other ones? I mean I doubt Sonic would put his in an invention
It only detects chaos energy + it can lay undetected under the radar when it's not used, methinks everyone else had used it's power at least 1 time but Amy didn't because she's very busy thinking about other stuff!

hey I just read through your idol Amy au and I just gotta say that the story is amazing, the art is incredible. The romance and characterization is just so- . Insert image of me smiling, giggling, and shaking in excitement. Chef kiss. I stayed up an hour past my bedtime to read it bc it is so incredible and you are so talented thank you for sharing such excellent talent with us I have been smiling and on the edge of my seat throughout the entire time. I've noticed in the Idol Amy AU that Sonic’s eyes keep losing their shine and his pupils get narrower whenever he gets mad or starts acting off. Is this related to what happened to him, or is it just an artistic choice on your part?
I love this AU by the way! The art is very pretty and the story has me hooked!
It's something that happens to most of the characters and not just sonk!
Losing the eye shine and having narrower pupils is a visual representation that they're mad and serious! (As Shadow almost always not having the eye shine tells that he is ALWAYS serious)
And it's also a thing in animals and humans that their pupils get larger when they see something they like (or in the darkness) and gets smaller or narrower when the opposite!
As per Sonic, he would keep switching from being in a chill mood to *pissed* whenever reminded of what happened, it's a sort of behavior he developed during the most painful times of his life and he didn't want to be reminded of it.

Hi! I wanted to tell you that I LOVE your comic so much and that you are the reason why I'm in this fandom now.
Before I had only played one Sonic game in my life and I don't even remember if I finished it, and even though I have seen amazing Sonic fanart and ship stuff before, it never really caught my attention.
But then a mutual started reblogging your comic, and it was so good, the art is gorgeous and the dynamic of Shadow and Amy (which I hadn't even imagined as a ship before) seemed so interesting and "oh, that looks like my type of ship." and before I knew it I was falling down a rabbit hole XD

I stumble upon your comic Idol Amy AU on other social media and I was so amazed! Your art style is one hella good! I'm a new fan!!!
Idk if you also listen to kpop but if you do, do you know red velvet? If not, most of their 'colorful' songs reminds me of Amy! Especially the song "Dumb Dumb"! When I read the english lyrics of that song I can imagine about amy's thought about sonic!
The "Day 1" reminds me of the sudden confession of Amy for shadow!
Lastly, "Like Water" from their main vocalist WENDY from red velvet! I can imagine it for Amy singing it for her fans who loved/supported her wholeheartedly!(it can be for shadow lol)
