Oh I forgot, Jaymee got on my nerves in the finale. She is so childish getting that mad at Asher for MAYBE trying to marry her when they are having a baby. When Asher gets a real fucking job that has insurance, how you gonna be put under it? That literally requires marriage

Asher loved Jordan first since they were kids but made alot of mistakes growing up. Then he met Jaymee and he really loves her too. Jaymee isn't blind she could see the way Asher looks at Jordan and the way Jordan looked back. She was ok with Asher loving them both and would be the one brave enough do something about it, she just didn't think she would fall for Jordan too.

Another AA ramble.

Simone Hicks is a trigger for no reason. Rather it's romance or friendship, some stans want to act like she doesn't exist in the AA universe when she has been mentioned and still has ties (main one being IT'S HER FUCKING HOME!) . It absolutely should not bother folks this much that Simone is still loved by the AA characters, still respected and still asked about. The friendship between Olivia and Simone could've taken a left but it didn't. Liv could've hated her for lying to her twin etc. Liv and her could bump heads and still have a conversation about it. They effectively communicate and move on. We've seen that happen. Liv considers Simone as "black excellence" which is super sweet especially since Simone herself was shocked she was chosen. They have a supportive, loving non toxic friendship.

Just because Simone broke up with Jordan doesn't mean that Liv should cut her off for the sake of her friendship with Layla. She literally told Layla that Simone was still their friend in 5x01. They all have their separate relationships within the show (Layla and Jaymee are blossoming this past season). Layla and Olivia had great moments too this past season since Vegas, but it is clear that their friendship will never be the same. It would've been lovely to see Layla also be there for Olivia more and not just focused on Jordan. We get it, building that specific dynamic but they could've had Layla show up for Liv more imo. Not just when Liv came to her room for Jordan or helping her out of her seat at the award ceremony.

It doesn't mean that the friendship can't get to the point of best friends again, but y'all just screaming LIV IS LAYLA'S BEST FRIEND because you hate Simone. I thought Layla stans hated Liv? so why is her friendship with Simone so bothersome?? Why do y'all want double dates if y'all don't like Spencer or Liv? If anything this season showed that the little core four 2.0 (AGAIN IN MY OPINION!) is Jordan & Layla x Asher & Jaymee.

Simone is a threat for no reason, she has owned up to her mistakes as a 17 year old and she is well loved by the Baker twins. Hell, we even seen Jordan himself tell Simone that he appreciated her and was worried about Liv. Regardless of opinion, Simone still matters to Spencer, Jordan and Olivia. Clearly, Layla too. Spencer literally said "I got you and Jordan always." HC might not acknowledge the friendship with Olivia but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It is clear that Layla is closer to Patience and Coop. Now she is bonding with Jaymee.

Liv and Layla are childhood best friends that grew apart but can still act civil. Least in my opinion based on all the scenes they got together. It's a very up and down, messy relationship but AA hates writing female friendships / giving all the girls scenes / development. We see more of the male friendship than anything else but this whole female beef between the girls is dumb. Stop excluding Simone, she may not be on the main show but she is still important.

You live together, you work together, of course you all dated each other. It's a vortex.
