i had a ginormous online book spree, along with a few that i've been meaning to read for a while. i hate owning unread books so i hope to have a summer of non-stop reading. i think the first book i'm going to read will be 'the thing about life is that one day you'll be dead' by david shields. are you reading anything at the moment?

i sorta just paused reading mockingjay & finished an essay by fred stoller about seinfeld and character acting.. and right now i'm more than halfway through of the art of fielding by chad harbauch, rereading the 2nd lemony snicket, a few chapters into popular hits of the showa era by ryu murakami, and rereading the pleasure of my company by steve martin.

having a kindle is so great for me because i do have a tendency to read several things at once, often overlapping, but usually with focus on one particular book the most (not sure if that's a good thing or not lol)

and yeah, i totally get where you're coming from because i have so many books left unread, both digital and non, that need me to read them
