*Turns on megaphone* Lucifer Morningstar is a Service Top! ...That is all.
THANK YOU!
Can we all readdress the fact that Lucifer is a canonical switch? I understand liking bottom!Lucifer, I really do, but let this man top. As a RadioApple fan, is it really too much to want Alastor to get properly railed 😩
I suppose I'll have to be the change I want to see in the world, but I still wanna read/see it.
I'm pretty sure this is why I've been consuming so much RadioStatic content lately. Their dynamic is amazing AND Alastor gets to bottom. It's perfect.

steren au idea: the grandmasters of specific houses are typically given ceremonial marks and tattoos. for redoran it is pretty straight forward: ceremonial scarification on either the chest or face. but hlaalu is typically a little more secretive. they have tattoos given to grandmasters in code to denote which grandmaster they are and a few bits of what they had to do to earn it. its usually small and on a normally concealed part of the body
vendil (or i guess mirri can tbh) goes sneaking into the bath house, laying in hiding. he's there for hours and is pissed off sen dres sent him to do this shit, only to see sure enough steren and vivienne are there to bathe. he can confirm their identities with the star on steren's forehead and vivenne having multiple skintones, so it wasn't a total bust.
until he sees steren move his hair aside and he has the mark of the grandmaster of house hlaalu. all of the code is up to standard and was clearly done by a high ranking member within house hlaalu, with code denoting he must have been grandmaster during the third era shortly before the oblivion crisis. but that doesn't make any sense since he only looks around 100 years old, which for dunmer is fairly young--technically possible to become a grandmaster if you're skilled and crafty, but not possible given that time frame was over 200 years ago
but no one else knows house hlaalu code like that. you have to be a high ranking member to even understand it, let alone have someone tattoo it on you. was steren the son of a previous hlaalu grandmaster and had the tattoo done to honor his father? it was possible, but then it might be more beneficial to have steren on their side than let sen dres kill him as planned. after all, his father died trying to 'restore' house hlaalu's 'honor' (power), and here is someone with the mark of a grandmaster
this would certainly be a wrench in sen's plans i dont think he accounted for. he'd never seen the mark in detail, he thought it was just a random tattoo (he'd only rly seen it once at the brothel. he didnt like steren bc he heard rumors he and vivienne were actually close, regardless of how combative they would act toward each other in his presence)

Merlin BBC UK TV Show - Opinion Piece Part 3 - Deciphering The Ages Of Merlin, Arthur and Morgana and It’s Possible Implication To Their Character Arc
I have used a quite modern interpretation of their ages, but it’s not like this show was ever particularly historically correct.
Arthur’s Age:
Tumblr media
The Great Purge started directly after Arthur’s birth as confirmed by Uther in the very first episode of Season 1 when they celebrated the capture of the Great Dragon “20 years ago”.
In Season 1 Episode 9 Arthur is named as the crown prince in the coming of age ceremony.. So we can assume he turned 21.
Therefore Arthur’s age could be:
Season 1 - Age 21
A Year Passes
Season 2 - Age 22
Another year, We know it’s been a year because Uther says, “it’s been a year since Morgana’s been missing”.
Season 3 - Age 23
About 2 more years pass. Arthur says something about 2 years of peace before Morgana shows up again.
Season 4 - Age 25
Two more years pass. Morgana states that she was trapped in a hole for 2 years.
Season 5 - Age 27
Merlin’s Age:
Tumblr media
GIF by aclanswoman
Merlin is described as a “young boy” in Series 1-3 and as a “young man” in Series 4-5 by Kilgharrah.
So it is safe to assume that Merlin is less than 18 in Series 1-3 and at least 18 in Series 4-5.
Therefore Merlin’s age could be:
Season 1 - Age 15
Season 2 - Age 16
Season 3 - Age 17
Season 4 - Age 19
Season 5 - Age 21
Morgana’s Age:
Tumblr media
GIF by emryslastbraincell
Here is a leaked image from the script from the first episode that describes Morgana thus:
Tumblr media
Therefore Morgana’s age should be the same as Merlin:
Season 1 - Age 15
Season 2 - Age 16
Season 3 - Age 17
Season 4 - Age 19
Season 5 - Age 21
So if my deduction is correct then, it clarifies certain plot points in the series:
1) Uther did not cheat on Igraine. Igraine died birthing Arthur. Morgana being younger than Arthur means Uther’s affair with Morgana’s mother Vivenne happened after Igraine’s death.
2) The young ages of Merlin and Morgana help us understand the huge number of mistakes they both made. Nobody that young can cope with the huge responsibilities and turmoil these two faced.
3) Arthur being condescending to Merlin to a certain extent now makes more sense as he is that much older than him, instead of Arthur just being a CLOTPOLE.

warning spoilers!
i was watching the hazbin hotel Q and A and Vivenne medrano just confirmed a rumor that's been going around the fandom for a hot minute. That may not be a big deal, accept the rumor is that SOMEONE WILL DIE IN THE SEASON FINALE! I hope to God it's nobody from the main cast, especially sir pentious, or I will cry!
except nifty, I don't know why but I just don't like her.
The only other thing she confirmed is that angel dust won't be the one to die so any fan of him can rest easily.

I love Dragon age and make it a point to play them once a year just like how I watch Lord Of The Rings once a year. This is Noct Je’taime.
Tumblr media
Dragon Age Name: Noct Je'taime Class: Templar Hunter (I.e Demon Hunter not Mage Hunter.) Age: 28 Looks: Has scar going from the top of his left hairline to his chin. Has Charcoal black hair that is short and messy but not curly. Has Obsidian colored eyes (Like Mikasa from Attack On Titan). Is relatively good looking. Has a nimble body like a Free Runner might have. Is about 5ft.11 in height. Has a slightly darker skin tone to Cullen since he is outside quite a bit. Outfit: A long coat not unlike the Novice Ursine Armor from The Witcher armored with thick dragon scale. Allows him to be nimble and slice without a weight holding him down. Colored with the Famous red and white that the Chantry's Templar's are known for. Has Templar symbol etched into his chest but after the Templar's started killing all mages regardless of guilt it has since been scratched out. In place of the normal plate helm he wears a hood similar to an assassin in the same color. Weapons: Dual Sided Daggers so he can cover more space in less time. They are made of Silverite since demons seem to hate it as much as darkspawn. Has almost woven like handles. Also carries many special bombs meant to hurt different types of demon to weaken them and make them easier to kill. Also has two bracers with hidden knifes in them. Those are only used when he has to dress formal like at parties or balls. Likes: Cookies, Spirits (Loves Cole to Death), Tall Women (Especially Quinari), The Work the Red Jennies have done, Mage freedom, The Maker, stealth, Philosophy, Psychology, and watching the sun rise and set respectively. Also secretly reads swords and shields and most of Varric's books. Dislikes: Demons, Racism, Slavery, The Rite of Tranquility, The Seekers (Excludes Cassandra), The Templars for killing all mages, Caviar, Alcohol, Small Spaces, Lying of Any kind, and most forms of cakes due to a case of food poisoning when he was young. Beliefs: Believes in The Maker but does not think he intervenes on anyone's behalf. The Divine's death is a prime example of that to him. Believes all gods exist as long as people believe in them. Believes mages should be free but have a separate school just for them so they can hone their skills. Like a boarding school where they attend for eight months then can go home and do whatever and after they graduate they can live their lives as they see fit and have Templars on duty to put out fires or calm badly casted spells or badly done experiments. Thinks Vivienne would be a perfect Headmaster for that school. Thinks the Rite of Tranquility should be abolished period. No if ands or buts. Dislikes Blood Magic but doesn't believe it's anymore evil than any other form of magic. He often brings up how nice Merrill is as an example of it not being inherently evil. Believes Solas when he explains spirts and demons are the same but demons are intentions gone wrong. Doesn't change how he feels when killing them but it makes him feel good when Solas informed him they may reform as they once were. Personality: Enjoys making people, especially children, smile or laugh. Is a big fan of making people cringe with bad puns. "What do you call an owl magician? WHOdinni!" Oddly enjoys discussing things like philosophy with Keran. Has massive respect for people who for go tradition and walk their own path as he had when the Templars separated from the ChantryLoves learning new things about other cultures he's never immersed himself in. Is best friends with Cole, Dagna, Harding, Krem, and Sera. He had adopted Sera and Cole sort of. Makes sure they are happy and well off. He even once asked Sera how the rest of the Red Jennies would feel if he joined after all this mess. She was ecstatic to say the least. Actually has met many of the old companions. Hates all alcoholic beverages for and I quote, "Why would I want to drink something that taste like sweat that was boiled in a pot with piss and old socks?" Has never had sex out of choice not some unspoken oath. When Bull pays a tavern wench to seduce him he usually says, "Unless you are only wishing to talk give Bull his money back because that shit ain't happening. And no it's not because you aren't attractive I just have no desire to do so." He always tells the truth. Once Vivenne asked how a certain dress looked on her and he warned her, "If I say what I think odds are you'll roast me." She assured him she wouldn't and he then said, "It makes you look like a walking child's painting." He was right about her wanting to roast him but it's a good thing he remembers how to negate magic. Despite not lying he's actually damn good at Diamond back and even beat Josephine a few times at the game. When he met Hawke he wanted to deck them but resisted to urge to deck Hawke because they had not known what Anders had planned and is actually relieved when he hears Hawke killed him. He hates The Seekers with an undying passion. His hate was only amplified after Cassandra let him read the book of secrets. He doesn't hate her and believes if anyone can make The Seekers into what they should be it's her. He even offers to help after she decides to rebuild them. Actually is a bit of a skilled sketch artist. Often makes amazingly detailed sketches of places and people. Vivienne once looked through his book at his request and she asked to keep the one he did of her and had him sign it and had it framed. He was ecstatic. Though his family were killed in the Blight he was able to let go of the rage. Has a portrait of them hanging in his room at Skyhold. Cassandra once caught him reading Swords and Shields and nearly squealed when she learned she had someone to talk to about it. They said if either speaks to anyone about this the other dies. Would be willing to die for those he loves and will not hesitate to kill whatever threatens them. Story: He was about 17 or 18 when the blight happened. He remembers it all. He hails from Redcliffe and actually was ecstatic to see Harding in The Inquisition. They spent the day just catching up with each other. He remembers the undead tearing through the village however. He remembers the screams, the blood, and the fear. He still has nightmares on Occasion because that's how his parents died. They died the first night they came to the village. It's what made him join the Chantry and almost Demand to become a Templar Hunter instead of a normal Templar. They nearly sent him to the Seekers but he said if they did they would never find him. Oddly they took that threat from the young man very seriously so began his training. It was beyond difficult but he did not give a shit about how hard it was. The day he took his oath was the anniversary of the blight ending in Fereldan. For the next 8 years he traveled all over the world short of Par Vollen and Tevinter doing his job. Killing demons, abominations, and on occasion serial killers. One faithful day he was hunting what Val Rouyex described as, "An abomination sent by the demons to kill everyone." This is the faithful case where he would meet the love of his life Saylice the Ben-Hasserath agent. As he was stalking his prey a tall Quinari woman stopped him and asked what he was doing. He told the truth and she offered that they should work together since he can negate magic and she knows its tactics. He agreed and overtime they became rather close and just before the case ended they kissed. They kept in contact in secret after that and he would always meet her or help her when she needed it. When he heard what Anders did he was livid. But not at the mages there. He knew Meredith was fucking crazy and even complained to the leader of the Templars about her behavior. He wanted Anders dead. But when the Templars left the Chantry to kill all mages regardless of involvement or guilt he destroyed the symbol that was on his armor and left the order. He wandered for a year till a giant hole opened in the sky. He raced to Haven and joined The Inquisition. It helped that Harding was there. They were good friends in Ferelden. He quickly became their go to Demon expert and he often collaborated with Solas to inform the Soldiers how to fight them effectively. After the events of Redcliffe Castle and Corypheus revealing himself and they went to Skyhold Saylice showed up. Bull recognized her and confirmed her story with the letters he received that she was indeed named Tal-Vashoth. He let her stay in his room and their relationship quickly grew from there. Bull actually found some comfort with him and her when he saved The Chargers.

Let's do... hair washing! With solavellan. (Why is bald Solas good at hair washing? Idk.) or actually. Idk Pride and Lavellan would be super cute too. Let there be cuteness
(Okay, okay, so, some preamble - normally I don’t specify stuff about Lavellan’s appearance very much, but my default Lavellan has next-to-know hair, and the idea of her and Solas engaging in hair washing under those circumstances... well... it led to this?)
After two days of slogging through the Western Approach, in an excessive heatwave that scorched up a day after they arrived, she’s beginning to feel like a piece of over-cooked meat.
It was supposed to be a relatively short trip, a stop-off along the road to Val Royeaux, to check in with some scouts and investigate some rumours. Nothing they would have have ordinarily handled, in fact, unless they were just passing through. But then the rumours had turned up evidence of a merchant group having gone astray of some local wildlife, and some digging had revealed their grim fate, and. Well. It wouldn’t do to just leave the bodies where they were lying, to be torn further apart by scavengers. But tracking down the remains was grim, tiring work, and then the heat had struck.
And now she’s glad to be leaving, all things said and done. And actually looking forward to their next stop over in Val Foret, where they can resupply, and rest, and bathe. She hadn’t packed for a full slog through the sweltering heat, hadn’t brought enough skin cream and salves, and she’s sweated through every piece of clothing she has, there’s grit in places where no grit should be, and oh, what she wouldn’t give for a decent camp. A shaded aravel, near to a cold stream, with a roof made to keep the air circulating, and jugs of infused water of the kind the hahrens always swear by.
Everything itches.
Her companions aren’t much better off. The bridge of Blackwall’s nose is a swipe of painful red, and so are the tops of his cheeks. Cole is all but melting beneath his hat. And even Solas seems to have miscalculated his usual spells and measures, if the shining burn on his scalp is anything to go by.
They manage to make it to Val Foret before nightfall, but only just. Little conversation is had, and thankfully, the innkeeper only seems to recognize them as ‘Inquisition people’, and not the Inquisitor; and it’s easy enough not to illuminate the matter more for him. She lets the man gauge them a little, for the sake of procuring some easy reliefs. The inn itself still feels too stuffy, rigid and confined, but a few extra coins gets them two rooms and two baths, some fresh food, jugs of the local wine, and at her request, a bundle of clean wash cloths, and a pitcher of milk.
She takes one room and one bath with Solas, though Solas, in his strangely fussy way, insists on changing out the bath water between baths - even when she lets him wash first. The four of them all take turns eating and washing and keeping one eye out for trouble, which has a habit of finding them even in ‘safe’ locales. But it’s a quiet night. The other occupants of the inn are merchants, most of them older and set in their routines, and no one seems keen to ask them a lot of questions.
When she finally feels like she can move without itching again, then, she takes a moment to watch Solas as he weaves a tired healing spell over his scalp. Trying to soothe the furious red that’s taken it over. It recedes, but she can tell - he’s tired, and the magic is finicky. Burns often are. Solas himself once told her that they have a way of making skin ‘forget’ what it’s supposed to be like, worse than most wounds do, and that’s why they scar.
It’s an interesting concept. Tied in with all the matters of magic and memory, too, and she supposes Solas doesn’t look at the top of his own head often enough to easily recollect what the skin should be like, either.
She waits until Blackwall has wandered out to the stables, and Cole has disappeared into the inn’s kitchens, before she rests a hand on Solas’ shoulder.
“Need some help?” she asks.
He sighs, and relents. Rubbing the bridge of his nose.
“I suspect I need rest, in fact,” he admits. “That would restore my reserves. But I do not know how well I will sleep, with my head burning all night.”
“I have something for it, if you’re willing to try,” she tells him. Her own skin is still cracked, knuckles flaking and fingers split open so badly they’ve bled in places; but the bath helped, and the very last of her salves have been soaked into her skin, and in the morning, she thinks, she’ll feel better.
Solas blinks, but after a moment, inclines his head.
He follows her back upstairs, and into their room. Settles easily into the chair she directs him to, and only raises his brows when she brings over the pitcher of milk and a clean face cloth.
“My keeper used to do this for me, when I was younger,” she explains. “I hated wearing things on my head. Summers in the Marches can get hot, especially where we used to roam, back in those days. I came back from a lot of hunts with my scalp paying the price for being under the sun all day.”
Solas offers her a sympathetic grimace, as she soaks the cloth into the milk. She gives it a squeeze, to keep it from dripping, and then gently settles it onto his head. The cool probably helps more than anything, at first. Solas sighs, and looks a little silly, with a milk-soaked cloth on his head. But he also sags in relief, and that is much more important, she thinks.
“Milk?” he asks.
“Mmhm,” she confirms. “Halla milk works better. Sometimes with some melted honey in it, too, if we could spare it. It soothes; maybe enough to let you get a decent night’s rest.”
Solas leans back against the chair, nodding just a little. And then he frowns at her own head, in turn.
“What about you?” he asks.
As if on cue, her own scalp itches. But she waves it off.
“I tended to it in the bath,” she tells him. “It should be alright enough.”
“There is plenty of milk,” Solas counters. “And I would hate to be the only one sitting here with a soaked towel on their head.”
She chuckles, at that. And at the little smile that comes over him, and makes his eyes look lighter.
“Give me a hand?” she suggests.
“Of course,” he agrees, and straightens back up again. She settles down onto the floor in front of his chair for a moment, so that he can reach. His thigh is warm beneath her arm, the thin leggings and light tunic he’s wearing not doing much to separate her from the feel of his skin beneath them. Both articles of clothing are worn down, nearly threadbare.
Solas’ touch is light, and deft, as he brushes a hand over her head, before squeezing the extra moisture from a second cloth, and settling it over her scalp.
It’s cool, and soothing, and she suspects she might have needed that more than she realized, as some of the tension bleeds out of her shoulders.
She slumps against his legs with a sigh.
“I’m glad we didn’t bring Dorian or Vivenne,” she says.
Solas chuckles, and flicks a finger playfully against the edge of his milk-cloth.
“No? I think it is a shame. Perhaps we could have started a new trend,” he counters.
She smiles.

send the morning [55]
“I think that I’ve made a mistake,” Edric says, sounding remarkably calm.
Mahanon hums, picking dirt out from under his nails, “You don’t say.”
“Are you still breathing?” Kaaras asks, “Any swelling?”
“Should we, at any point, help?” Evelyn says, watching in complete horror as Edric turns a slow circle, completely engulfed in a black, buzzing, mass of bees.
“Do you want to become absorbed into the cloud of bees?” Mahanon asks. “I, for one, do not. He’s still talking. As far as I can tell he’s fine.”
“I’ve pissed myself.”
“Do we have anything we can use to make some smoke?” Kaaras asks. “Edric, are they on you? Or are they just around you? Can you move your arms?”
“I’m afraid but also my arms are getting tired of behind held up,” Edric says, “I’m going to lower my arms very slowly.”
“Mahanon, do something,” Evelyn pulls on Mahanon’s arm.
“What?” Mahanon looks at her, confusion all over his face, “What do you think I can do? Do you want me to assassinate bees?”
“Do something!” Evelyn and Kaaras say.
Edric’s face is indiscernible underneath all the bees, but presumably it looks appropriately beseeching.
“You assume that I have some sort of - some sort of affinity for bees,” Mahanon says, “That I can somehow - using some sort of woodland sense - make these bees leave.”
“Yes,” Evelyn confirms without hesitation.
Mahanon clicks his tongue sharply, “It’s a learning lesson for you all then. Don’t mess with bees because just because I’m Dalish doesn’t mean I can talk to bees.”
“Well we can’t just leave him here,” Evelyn gestures at Edric.
“Quietly,” Kaaras whispers, as the swarm of bees grows ominously louder, “I - I don’t. I don’t think they like it when you’re - when you’re loud.”
“Mahanon please.”
“That’s unfair of you,” Mahanon says, “To assume I can always get the rest of you out of these sort of messes just because I’m a Dalish hunter.”
“So you can’t?”
Mahanon glares at Evelyn before pushing up off of the fallen tree he’d been sitting on. He silently cross over to Edric, thrusts his hand straight into the cloud of bees, and pulls Edric out, dragging him back to Evelyn and depositing the stunned dwarf at her feet.
“I can,” Mahanon says, “But I shouldn’t have to.”
“How.” Kaaras looks between the cloud of bees that hovers in the general shape of Edric on one side, and Edric, the actual flesh and bone Edric, dazedly staring into the sky on the other. “Mahanon, how?”
“I don’t want to because every time I do you rely on me more,” Mahanon says, sitting back down on his rock, “And I perpetuate the idea that Dalish hunters can do anything in a forest. I dislike it immensely. They would have dispersed eventually. You’re welcome.”
“I saw the spirits of my dead parents,” Edric whispers, “They were horrified at what their daughter had become and were very sorry for leaving me to her.”
-
“We’re going to have to work together,” Evelyn says, “So at some point we’re going to need to address this.”
“Address what?” Dorian asks.
“That every mage in this room hates the other,” Evelyn answers.
“Untrue,” Kaaras says immediately, “I don’t hate you.”
“Except Kaaras,” Evelyn waves her hand, “Kaaras, you can leave this meeting.”
“I - should I leave though?” Kaaras looks around the table.
Vivienne looks deeply unimpressed and calmly sips her tea.
Solas is reading a book.
Ellana’s chin is hooked over the edge of the table where she’s crouched between Dorian and Solas, looking between the two of them to see who’ll sneak her something to eat first.
“Vivienne and Solas can’t spend two heartbeats together without descending into impetuous silence or poorly disguised aggressive taunts. Unless they’re working together to tear into Dorian. Dorian and Vivenne sometimes can put aside mutual differences in favor of mocking Solas and Ferelden. Dorian and Solas argue when they aren’t trying to sabotage each other or team up against Vivienne. Literally the only time any of you get along is when you’re trying to fight someone else. Also, Vivienne and Solas make Kaaras uncomfortable - Dorian also makes Kaaras uncomfortable but that’s a different type of uncomfortable. And Ellana, in general doesn’t like to be near Vivienne, likes to pester Solas, generally teases and spooks Kaaras and Dorian, and all of you are going to drive me up a wall because I am forced to be mediator every time.”
“I see no problem with this,” Dorian responds instantly, “Do any of you?”
“None at all,” Vivienne answers.
Solas ignores them in favor of pushing his teacup towards Ellana.
Ellana’s arm snakes up over the table, snags the teacup, and she disappears entirely.
“If it makes you feel better Evelyn, I do see the problem with it,” Kaaras says, broad shoulders hunched as he looks at Evelyn.
“Like I said, you’re fine, you don’t even have to be here,” Evelyn puts a hand on his shoulder, “Also, Dorian, stop trying to play footsie with him under the table. You keep kicking my shin.”
“You should have thought about that before sitting us apart.”
“If I don’t sit you apart you’d just flirt him into a blushing and stammering mess. Now we’re going to work this out and we’re not leaving until we do. I’ve had the Valo-kas and the Chargers take stations at every entrance and exit.”
Evelyn points to the back door just as it opens.
Herah strides in with a bewildered Ellana tucked under her arm. Ellana makes a rapid series of what? hand gestures, pointing at Herah and herself.
“No one,” Evelyn takes her seat as Herah deposits Ellana on the floor by the pink sofa, “Is leaving until we have a working arrangement.”
Herah salutes, “Good luck, mages of Skyhold. Make it good, we’ve got bets going on.”
“I despise you,” Dorian says to Evelyn.
“You should have left when you had the chance, Kaaras,” Evelyn ignores Dorian and instead puts her hand on Kaaras’ and squeezes, “Now you’re here for negotiations. And it’s everyone for themselves. I’m sorry. This had to be done.”
Kaaras swallows nervously.
Ellana squawks, attempting to open the door.
“Does she even count?” Vivienne asks after a few moments of observing Ellana trying to pry the door open.
“Ellana is technically a mage, even if she isn’t a practicing one. And she’s also part of our problem. Yes. She counts. Now let’s begin. Who’d like to start? Solas, you always have something to say. Why not you?”

after spending like, several weeks running through dragon age inquisition I have come to a few conclusions about myself;
- I love the dalish and their gods way too much and I will physically fight the entire chantry and the writers about treating them better
- no seriously I have like four dalish by this point and I’m probably going to make more
- fuc the chantry and this circle nonsense I will fight you vivienne.
- also I love vivenne way too much she is a queen even if I am going to fight her about how to treat mages
- I love the qunari and I’m pissed they don’t get more special dialogue. fucking horns man. I just have such a thing for horns. THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE ROMANCE OPTIONS FOR THE QUNARI LADIES
- this one’s less of a realization and it’s just further confirmation but i’m seriously ridiculously gay and so are most of my ocs.
- I will fight literally anyone to protect dorian.
- I am a sympathizer of solas and anyone that tries to tell me blackwall is a decent guy is going to get thrown down so fucking hard. seriously I’mma fight because fuck blackwall toss him in the damn trash. 100% listen to vivenne and dorian and join them in ragging on him.
- I love my ocs way too much and, as much as I totaly get solas, I’m going to beat the shit out of him for the way he betrayed Zai and Thalla

I just had to agree, that a huge Alastor fight scene is really all I want for season 2!
During "Stayed Gone", Valentino mentions a time that Alastor almost beat Vox, which implies that he narrowly lost in a fight between them.
He was badly injured in the fight with Adam, and had to retreat.
By the rule of three, it would be so poetic and amazing, if we got a fight scene where he doesn't back down, but continues to fight with everything he has, and emerges the unquestioned victor, wiping the smiles off the Vee's faces for good.
Bonus points if he actually accepts help from his found family, in the form of backup and helping him heal afterwards. He's so stuck on being a lone wolf (well, deer...), that him slowly learning to trust others would be such delicious character growth!
Actually, the way I interpreted Valentino saying that Alastor "almost beat Vox," is that during their fight Alastor was about to beat him. Like, if it continued, Vox was 100% going to lose. But the battle didn't see an actual end, with an actual victor, because, in my headcanon/theory, Vox was forced to retreat.
If Vox won, even narrowly, I don't think he would've been nearly as defensive or annoyed at Valentino for bringing it up. If the fight ended with Alastor retreating (or even losing), Vox would've milked the shit out of that. He would never let Alastor live that down. Hell, if the fight was recorded in any way, he'd be playing that shit on loop.
I think with Vox losing, it'd make him simultaneously eager for a rematch, but also nervous to fight Alastor head-on again considering he nearly lost (which might also explain why they never came face-to-face in season one. They only interacted from a distance, through their different mediums), and why he was SO happy when Alastor lost during the Extermination. He was living vicariously through Adam during that fight (Adams victory was HIS victory) because Alastor finally got a taste of the humiliation and defeat Vox felt all those years ago (and STILL feels, even now).
And considering all of that, I will go FERAL if there's a fight with all the Vees versus Alastor. I want to see what they can do. There are different ways to be powerful out side of strength and magical ability (see Rosie who's not physically or magically as strong as the other Overlords), so I want to see what Valentino and Velvette can do in a fight or on an intellectual level. The brains and the brawn (and whatever Valentino is.) I would laugh so hard if Valentino is actually the muscle of the Vee's. He's got very few braincells, but he can lift 2x his own weight, all they got to do is point him in the right direction. He's all muscle.
And I want that fight to be a close one too. In fact, if Alastor LOSES in that fight, my god, would that be such an angsty, complicated, even more humbling experience for him. Vox would be fucking THRIVING. He would be reveling. He finally beat the Radio Demon. He finally beat Alastor (and the complicated emotions. GOD the emotions that they'll both have during and after that)
But I also don't want Alastor to lose T.T He's my fav, and he already been so thoroughly humbled once, I think I'd collapse if he lost again. BUT if he were on the cusp of losing, got his second wind, and ultimately came out the victory, I would be screaming, jumping out of my seat, frothing at the mouth. I fucking LOVE that shit.
And super, serious 100% extra bonus points he gets help from his found family in the form of back-up or patching him up afterward. I think that would be amazing character growth for him. I WANT IT SO BAD ANON WHY DID YOU MAKE MY OBESSION AND YEARNING GROW I AM NOT A VERY BIG PERSON YOU'RE LITERALLY GOING TO MAKE ME EXPLODE WITH ALL THESE EMOTIONS
