Rating Extended Zodiac Sign Titles by how accurate I think they are
Rating done from the personalities from trolls with that sign or just generally how I jive with them
Rustbloods
True Aries- Sign of the Excavator 10/10 no notes, those girls do excavate
Arsces- Sign of the Pilgrim 4/10 I like how it sticks to the adventurous nature of rusties but ehhhhh..... For a canon dreamspect I'd expect a little more pizzaz
Arrius- Sign of the Visualizer 3/10 huh??? I can kinda see the Ampora connections with them being daydreamers/fantasizers but unless this is a very long roundabout Burger Tulpa reference what does visualization have to do with Diemen???
Ariborn- Sign of the Escapee 9/10 I was originally gonna give this a 1 since I kinda thought this had nothing to do with Xefros and then I remembered... Xefros is very much an escapee. Cruelty to my favourite boy knocks a point off.
Arittarius- Sign of the Astronaut 2/10 what? Doesn't have ANYTHING to do with marsti nor rusties in general. Point gained from astronaut being a nice word
Arpia- Sign of the Examiner 8/10 OBSESSED with the implications of the derse/light sign for the rustbloods being the Examiner. Sooooo many implications. Would of been a full 10 if the sign had two extra arrows to make it look even more roseian
Arza- Sign of the Inevitable 1/10 edgy and vague YAWN
Arga- Sign of the Trailblazer 9/10 I'm biased. Fuck you.
Aro- Sign of the Lost 10/10 THE IMPLICATIONS (fyi this is fozzers sign so IF U KNOW U KNOW)
Arcen- Sign of the Companion 10/10 once again, no notes. Blood aspect tied in perfectly.
Armini- Sign of the Reconciler 10/10 the rust sign... That has sollux's dreamspect.... Is the reconciler AUGHHHHH MY POOR ARASOL HWART
Arun- Sign of the Impetuous 9/10 makes sense with dreamspect and caste. Nothing to say. Other than being an annoying word that I had to search up
Arist- Sign of the Headstrong 7/10 Time players and Prospitians tend to be headstrong... Other than that not much else to it
Arsci- Sign of the Medic- 3/10 would of been AWESOME if the Prospit/Life jade or tealblood (jades r carers, teal 4 jane) was the medic but rust? Nahhh...... Nah.
Arnius- Sign of the Heedless 3/10 after ~5 signs that all basically say "rough and tough and kinda stupid" you kinda just get a bit tired of them doesn't really make sense for prospit/hope neither. Jake was kinda heedless but it wasn't like that had to do with his dreamspect
Aricorn- Sign of the Runaway 8/10 once again THE IMPLICATIONS
Arittanius- Sign of the Voyager 3/10 once again the void signs making 0 sense. Was amused how we have the astronaut and the voyager
Arpio- Sign of the Seeker- The vriska dreamspect for the rustbloods being the *seeker*? AOAHDJSJSU MY ARAVRIS HEART<3<
Arra- Sign of the Wayward 4/10 disappointing tbh, could be a callback to the revenge cycle and aradia being a "wayward" soul but ehhhhh thats a stretch
Argo- Sign of the Zenith 5/10 I bet whoever named this one thought they were being REAL cute calling a SPACE sign the ZENITH (upper region of the sky) well they were right. It was cute. Still doesn't make sense for rusties though
Arlo- Sign of the Mirage 1/10 yeah.... No. No idea.
Arcer- Sign of the Officer 3/10 COULD be a reference to karkat being a threshie but... Disappointed. Especially with how cool a sign it is
Armino- Sign of the Static 2/10 no clue on this one either.
Arus- Sign of the Wanderer 7/10 rounding us off on a good average one which fits the dreamspect, canon character and caste. Well done arus, well done.

For fun, two game ideas I've been having for a spriting game server:
Ecto-Kid Chain
Basically, every person picks a character and then does an ecto kid combination of their character and the above.
Person A picks Dave Strider.
Person B picks Karkat Vantas and then does an ecto-kid based on Dave and Karkat.
Person C picks Tagora Gorjek and then does an ecto-kid based on Karkat and Tagora.
and so on.
Extended Zodiac Designing
This one would work with a big grid (which would probably be hosted on a spreadsheet or something).
Each person gives the next a sign to sprite a character for out of the ones that aren't done yet, with the goal being to have a full set of either one blood color, with maybe the whole thing being done eventually.
Person A sprites Arsci and tells the next person to sprite Arpio.
Person B sprites Arpio and tells the next person to sprite Armini.
and so on.
They wouldn't all have to be making new designs, there could be other things like spriting specific outfits, "sprite this in your style", etc. These are just two ideas I have that I wanted to share :3

hiveswap canon signs
as a little personal project tonight i decided to comb through hiveswap act 2 and figure out all of the signs taken by trolls on the train during joey's visit (background characters included) (sprites taken from the masterpost by riphiveswap :] )
first, the table with all used signs removed:
next, the table with only used signs:
i will note that taursces is marked as used despite not being entirely confirmed, as there is a half-covered sign on one of the background trolls that could be taursces
also, arpio is the only sign clearly taken by two trolls at the same time ("dock gal" and one of the two rustbloods with sunglasses) which has very interesting implications imo
and lastly, some trolls with signs absent from the extended zodiac (and my interpretations of said signs):

They're a Homestuck troll OC. Rust-Blood.
Black, curly hair that falls to about their neck. They have horns similar to that of a ram, which are heavily cracked and chipped. Their hair and their horn cover one of their eyes from the angle that I draw them. Their other eye is almost entirely exposed, and it is a typical troll eye, being entirely yellow asides from the pupil, which is black. They were black lipstick on their lower lip, and have two small fangs, despite the fact that most rust-blood trolls do not possess fangs.They were a plain, black choker, and wear a heavily customized suit and tie. The suit is almost entirely black, asides from the collared shirt underneath and the tie, which are two different shades of red. The symbol of their true sign (Arpio) is on their left chest. The suit also has a large star, as well as one accompanying smaller star on the bottom right. Their pants are slacks, with a heart sewn onto the right knee, and a star on the left one. The bottom of the left pant-leg has a small scenery sewn in, with a heart appearing as a planet, a few stars around it, and waves meant to imitate an aurora borealis. The bottom of the right leg has a patch with the Arpio sign. They wear ordinary, basic shoes, as I am awful at designing shoes.

Kayden is a wizard who peaks at age 10. His story is about being labeled a "gifted child" and struggling later in school, but like, under the framing of being a wizard.
He is a child with blue eyes and blond hair. He wears a big floppy wizard hat with stars on it and a slightly oversized purple robe with a line of lavender diamond shapes imprinted on it.

i need to dreg up my old trollsona. hes not the same sign as me anymore (i am arpio, prospit+light rust) cuz i rly wanted him to be a jade blood but his name is lunett erebus and hes a mage of light :) his sign is virpia (derse+light jade)
