I haven't done an Ark update in a long time. Nothing much just more taming and breeding. Playing has been slow since creatures where not spawining in for a while(had to dinowipe a few times to get them back in)

Finally got that 5th health mutation in my sloths getting ready for the Broodmommy. Did the fjordur labirinth cave (never again until I get a tek suit. You can't grapple and I suck at jumps. Or I may just creative mode it if I have to get in there again).

I got thylas! And really love them.

Killed that Titan that was roaming Asgard. had to get a pic with it.

Also went to Jotunheim, was scared for the cold but my mostly prim fur armor (except a mastercraft helmet) and a high meelee otter was enough! Tamed some things and took some pics there

I got a beautifully colored X-Yuty

Currently enjoying Fjördur with my friends! We are a little scattered through the Map, Jules and I are in the other Realms (she on Vanaheim while I am in Asgard) and the other 3 living in Midgard. I def wanted to live somewhere that gives me Aberration vibes, like one of the caves (I guess it is known how obsessed I am with Aberration!), and then I saw the blue forrest and decided to build close to the Rock Drake cave. First Picture shows my Greenhouse that got functioned into a Workshop. I didn’t wanted to ruin the View so I went full glass (it’s a older picture tho, I have a defense against the Shadowmanes and other nasty stuff that spawns there now). I really enjoy this map! We have everything for everyone! Base spots same as Dinos and you couldnt imagine my reaction when I saw the Rock Drakes were kept! Working towards a Hazard Suit was the first thing I did while building our first Beach House.

My wyvern luck has been PHENOMENAL on fjordur, I found 3!!! Max level eggs, two lightning and one poison. The lightnings were both girls and one has higher health while the other has ridiculously high melee (53 points!!) so I need to find a boy of whatever level to combine the stats. I also nabbed a 210 fire wyven! Her stats aren’t great but she’s very cute so ya know. I love her anyways. Fjordur is sooo much fun

incase any ark players are curious !!! triple muts are real ! here's my eyesore sloth, the chosen sloth to get a triple mut naturally. (not using s+ mutator or anything)

how this happened:

so ark's mutations can be triggered by the mother or the father, hence the counter of '0/20'. a new mutation is usually clear to see due to it coming with a colour (sometimes) or additional level. (ex; the triple mut baby is higher level than the non-mut baby, coming at 279 than 267 and 273) this is because each mutation boost's the offspring's level up by twos (due to two points going into a said stat)

the father's mutations in the non-mut baby says 2/20 because he has two mutations in his lineague, while the female has none (hence 0/20)

the triple mut baby has triggered a double mutation in the female's side (this does not mean she has the mutations, just that it's her who has triggered them in the lineague) and the father has triggered an additional one!

the dinostorage v2 mod shows it perfectly, see how she has a (2+) on her food, melee and movement speed stat? while the non-mut baby only has all her's the same in pink or blue? this is because she's inherited no additional mutations other than the male's additional melee mutations however since this isn't a new mutation, it doesn't show the 2+.

in theory you COULD get a four-mutation baby, it'd just be INCREDIBLY rare and i've not seen or heard of this happening to anyone! This would have to occur when both parents trigger a double mutation.

Finally got my very first good boy! After 500 tries of fking it up somehow.... It took me over 4 hours of collecting Fish and another 2 hours and a long break to find a good high level close to my base. He was a 174 and I used a Sanguine Elixier on him so he came out with extra 124 levels!
