every time i revisit witch hat atelier i'm reminded of my age. i can't tolerate the adults in shonen anymore. incompetence aside, they're (almost) all complicit, abusive, and/or neglectful
then i see qifrey and olruggio and i think "now those are good men. one of them is so so so so fucked up, but he's a better guardian than 99% of 'good' adults in shonen"
