In the AU April makes sure that after the destruction of the lair, because of the fire, Casey Marie doesn't try nor gets any type of scientific advance on creating more potential warriors. April wants Casey to understand that the resistance under her lead is enough to keep going and win (which they do in the end!). So after a few (unsuccessful) tries, thanks to April, Casey Marie doesn't try again.

Mikey and April keep in touch because of the babies and just to talk in general so Mikey Does worry about that constantly but April is there to take care of things! :] (He still got extremely upset each time April communicated on how Casey had tried to create warriors again. He hugged the babies tightly to his heart each time)
