not really!

I see where this meme is coming from, but there's a couple things that don't really fit. A.) Aporia isn't really a sacrificial character to begin with (barring niche circumstances like his Tag Force route,) especially not to an implied Christlike degree. He is a character that is literally the embodiment of despair and suffering, but he isnt really suffering to SAVE someone else (except maybe Z-one, but his dynamic with Z-one isn't 'savior sacrificing themselves for the one devoted to them.'--Aporia is 100% the one who's the devotee here) Really Aporia seems to suffer largely because he either does it to himself or he's just, Extraordinarily Unlucky.

anyway, more importantly, B.) this meme implies illustrating a religious undertone present with the character in question is an act of "fanon" which is..................just straight up not true in this case !! Aporia is Very deliberately surrounded by religious motifs In The Text; when I'm drawing and talking about him with regards to religious symbolism I'm pulling from how he's presented in the show itself, I'm not just yanking things out of nowhere for the sake of Cool Religious Aesthetic™ lol. He isn't a sacrificial savior figure, Z-one is presented as a God and Aporia is one of his angels, right down to having a halo/predominately white color scheme/etc. Again APORIA'S the devoted one here! that aint fanon that's just canon right there on screen babeyy!!
