cannot handle when people portray serge as the more mentally stable one out of gilserge like There’s a Reason why he’s not able to express himself properly when upset or angry and it most certainly has to do with his race / the way he had to present himself

someone got me thinking on what different hollow knight liquids would taste like so here:

infection - tastes like watered down syrup that’s still more sugar than water. accompanied by a thick viscous texture like jelly or that gross thick water, with an even thicker core.

lifeblood - it tastes and smells pleasant, and is very tangy and sweet. it tastes like most delicious fruit drink you’ve ever had. it’s texture is like a jello shot.

soul - cold air, maybe what dry ice or liquid nitrogen would taste like. basically nothing, but maybe with a hint of cool or the feeling of water (without anything getting wet)

void - also cold, but it’s like the feeling of when you eat something but you miss the food. your brain emulates what the taste would be but nothing’s there. tastes like hunger, emptiness, nothingness. texture is like oil, or liquid ink, but still somewhat gaseous, like squid ink underwater
