#I've had a crush on my coworker for over 10 months now#which is HIGHLY unusual for me#i average 1-2 crushes per decade#and I wouldn't have expected this to last so long#if anything i just feel more strongly ugggghhh#and I can't do anything about it bc he doesn't seem to like me that way#we're good colleagues and have fun voluntary interactions at work#but every time I've invited him to do stuff outside of work#he's declined#anyway this weekend I picked him up bc we were carpooling to a work event#that neither of us wanted to go to#and shortly after getting into the car#he's rolling up his sleeves and putting on a tie#bc it's a semiformal event and ig he was running a touch late#and didn't have time to do it beforehand#but omg it took every ounce of self control to keep my eyes on the damn road#like sir excuse me how dare you be this fucking adorable#when i am TRYING to drive#I am literally in my 30s and have never felt like this before#i just want to lay on his chest while he tells me every opinion he has#this is torture i stg
