ㅤbyan has actually never had a pet. their own life has never been stable enough to allow it, even if they could afford it (which they couldn't) — it's just not practical when you're on the street or living in a children's home. some of the foster homes they've lived in (briefly) have had animals, which is probably the closest they've been to having a pet of their own. however, knowing they wouldn't be with any family for long (mostly due to their own self-sabotage), they never really bothered interacting with or spending much time with these pets.

that said, ever since they were younger, byan has had a habit of feeding strays they come across. if they have food available at the time, anyway. most of the time these are cats or dogs they never see again, although they did get in trouble once when they were like 7 because they, along with a few other kids, accidentally got a few neighborhood strays into the routine of showing up to the children's home around dinner time, looking for food.

ㅤwould they like to have a pet of their own one day? ...yeah, probably. they'd be lying if they said they wouldn't like the companionship of a cat or a dog (probably the latter) at home. it's not something they'd take active steps toward unless their life was more stable though — they know far too well how awful it can feel to have your living arrangements constantly changing, out of your control, and to be looked after by someone who can't necessarily afford to care for you from day to day. they wouldn't want to inflict that on anyone, pet or otherwise.

my favorite manhwas at the moment is: becoming the villain’s family (the art for this is literally unreal 👁👄👁. it had a promo that looked really good but another artist picked it up and omg,,, i think it’s the most beautiful manhwa ive ever seen??? i saw the art for it and i immediately read the manhwa because i fell in love with the art 😙), i became the hero’s rival (i’ve never been so down bad for a ml it’s lowkey embarrassing ><), and into the light once again (reincarnation manhwa where the fl is reborn into a family who loves her so much — no words except i love family manhwas LOLOL). also, this isn’t a villainess one or anything, but i love inso’s law/the law of webnovels! its my comfort manhwa and even tho im behind lolol it’s one of my og favorites :’))
