Created in May 2009, "A Maïzing session with..." is a radio show broadcasted on the KKWNE webradio dedicated to live improvised music and organised at the Maïzing Studio in Paris, by Anton Mobin. The program is established according to the meeting of several artists who come on tour to Paris. In the first season (May 2009-May 2010), "A Maïzing session with..." was 13 radio shows with 22 international artists. The second season is on the same way... After the release of "offb015 - Three solos", Ian Linter and Anton Mobin decide to continue the solo series. This time, four solos improvised live, successively by :such: (tape manipulation), Ian Linter (electronic manipulation), Rinus van Alebeek (tape manipulation) and Anton Mobin (tape manipulation).

Les mots deviennent des signaux, des coups de poing, des déplacements physiques d'ondes. Celui qui parle est parlé par tous les bouts de la machine à dire. Celui qui parle dissout son nom dans les identités intenses de la langue.   

No  mistakes only bad  follow-ups :  Une conférence dansée sur Rachel Rosenthal Créée et interprétée par Nathalie Broizat  Rachel Rosenthal (1926-2015), est une figure clé dans le développement de la performance aux États-Unis. La pièce se concentrera dans un premier temps sur la période des années 50 où elle faisait partie du cercle Cage/Cunningham laissant apparaitre la question de l'identité, du genre et de l'authenticité. Une philoso- phie de la distanciation et de l'ironie est également mise en exergue par le postulat suivant : se prendre au sérieux n'est pas sérieux. Commande du CCN de Caen. Sévissant depuis le milieu des années 90, le Péruvien Chrs Galarreta est un (non-)musicien prolifique, "multi-facettes" et tout terrain dont divers projet se suivent et ne se ressemblent pas forcément : entre EVAMUSS, SAJJRA, et ses diverses collaborations (avec, notamment, Zbigniew Karkowski, Dave Phillips, Francisco Lopez, Janneke Van Der Putten, Rogelio Sosa, David Kraapoola, et bien d'autres (parmi lesquelles un bon nombre de noisiciens français - Anton Mobin, Julien Ottavi, DJ Urine, N'alov ...).

RAVI SHARDJA / fr Toujours difficile de cataloguer la musique polymorphe de Ravi Shardja, car ses projets varient d'un concert à l'autre et d'un disque à l'autre : sur « Komando Papua » p. ex. il s'agit d'une suite de field recording scratchée et déstructurée (en écho à la guerilla en West Papua) , alors que sur « Grün ist grau » (double LP sorti par le label Grautag) on a affaire à 4 longues "plages" où se mêlent moiteur asiatique électrique et musique concrète sous psychotropes. S'il existe bien un dénominateur commun entre eux c'est bien la diversité. Idem pour son instrumentarium : bien que la basse reste son instrument de prédilection, on peut y trouver également une platine préparée, un synthétiseur cheap, un luth laotien, une flûte traversière indienne, des sources électroniques ou électriques... selon le contexte - et souvent - Ravi varie. Musicien tout terrain donc, s'adaptant au lieu et contexte, mais aussi aux rencontres musicales fortuites ( Jello Biaffra, Tony Allen ). Idem au sein du faramineux quatuor  GOL, ayant collaboré avec quelques musiciens fantasques ( Charles Hayward, Charlemagne Palestine, Iancu Dumitrescu, GhédaliaTazartès... ).

   Kris Limbach

Kris Limbach (born in 1978) is a sound and visual          artist residing in Berlin. Although his focus is on sound, he          is also exploring constantly formats and aesthetics of cinema.          In his sound art work he uses film-editing techniques,          prepared drums, tape manipulation, no input mixing and a vast          amount of raw and processed fieldrecordings. His performances          for film and tape involves live super8 manipulation and          scoring, an arte povera approach to expanded cinema. His          experimental feature film project “The Lost Color” recently          premiered at IBAFF Spain.        

He released on labels such as Richard Garet’s          Contour Editions, Staaltape, Modisti, Framework Radio,          Agxivatein and collaborated with artists like Pierce Warnecke,          Hopek Quirin, Anton Mobin, Jochen Arbeit, Rinus van Alebeek,          Miguel A. Garcia, Juan Antonio Nieto aka Pangea, Lisa          Müller-Trede and more. JD Zazie with Memory Loss will move again soon to Den Haag. She will play at Kernel Panic Edition curated by Thijs Geritz and will share the night with Kevin Toma and with Anton Mobin, with whom she released for Earsheltering the duo digital album “Live at das kleine Field Recordings Festival“ eight years ago.

ANTON MOBIN Anton Mobin is musician and improvisor. Since 2008 he builds and develops his own electro-acoustic instruments. He calls them 'Prepared Chambers'. Mobin: "The instrument was born in the evolution of my instrumental practice in a constant need to redefine my installation by moving from a table-object to an instrument with definite forms. The 'prepared chamber' takes shape in a large wooden box with a resonance table in which numerous daily objects, springs and strings are organized and amplified by three home-made magnetic pickups and two piezzo-electric contact microphones." The third version of this 'Prepared Chamber' has been rewarded in 2016 at Hugh Davies Project Residency and presents significant changes and new technical characteristics in terms of ergonomic and construction method to make it evolve to more details and refinement with a much better sound quality".

Anton Mobin collaborations include performances with, among others, Derek Saw, Benedict Taylor, Colin Webster, Will Connor, Tom Jackson and many more. He also occasionally joins the ‘London Improvisers Orchestra’ (with Steve Beresford, Phil Minton, Terry Day, Adam Bohman, Neil Metcalfe, Adrian Northover) and participates in projects with Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys), saxophonist Sonny Simmons, sound-poet Bryan Lewis Saunders, and underground artist Alexei Borisov (Notchnoï Prospekt). In 2016, he founded the micro-label Middle Eight Recordings.

KEVIN TOMA Kevin Toma (1974) studied Film and Performing Arts at the Catholic University of Nijmegen (nowadays Radboud University). He started writing film reviews for the Filmkrant, and later worked as a web editor for Cinema.nl. He has been a film journalist at the Volkskrant. Since 1994 he has been making live music to accompany silent movies. He's a self-taught musician and composer. He has written new scores (and performed live) for, among others, Sunrise (1927), Häxan (1922), Berlin, Die Sinfonie der Groβstadt (1927). Toma is also a film teacher and DJ.

At Kernel Panic he will present a silent movie with a live performed soundtrack.

JD ZAZIE Living between Berlin and Bolzano, JD ZAZIE is a DJ, avant-turntablist and sound artist based in Berlin. Coming from a DJ and a radiophonic background JD Zazie has explored over the years different approaches of real-time manipulation on fixed recorded sound.In her work she redefines DJ and electroacoustic activities. As a solo performer, in small groups or large ensembles she moves in an area which is constantly stretching the borders of what is supposed to be DJ mixing, free improvisation and composed music. Intended as music instruments CDjs, turntables and mixer are her tools to mix the specific sound-sources she plays (mostly electronic music, electroacoustic music, musique concrète, field recordings and improvised music).
