the thing about sastra wangi as a genre is that it really is just another way to shoehorn all of literature written by women in the same box. they argue its not just the women pen name but its because the feminist undertones and the tendency to straddle the line between cheap shock value and meaningful exploration when it comes to writing about female sexuality.
tapi ya, youre a clown if youre putting saman and catatan hati seorang istri in the same genre. memang ada tema-tema keperempuanan tapi kesamaannya itu aja! hell you can even argue catatan hati is actually somewhat anti feminist with its religious perspective on gender and marriage. chapter (aku lupa klo gasalah di buku ke empat kah ke tiga ini?) dimana si nadia ini interview seorang laki-laki soal urusan poligami itu bener-bener masuk ke ranah "yah laki memang gitu mau di gimanain lagi orang udah dari sana nya". itu bukan feminis njir. but like, thats not a discourse i want to get into right now. but this brings me to my next point, that a lot of the religious romance books shoehorned into the sastra wangi ghetto is not sexual at all. paling parah ya, itu ada adegan si protagonis di lepas hijabnya pelan-pelan sama suaminya habis nikah. rambutnya keliatan, di elus, terus si mba nya di kecup di kepala, baru mereka solat zuhur. the end. horny darimana??????
even the so called "shockingly sexual" sastra wangi books aren't that horny? like, they do talk about sex, but i dont feel like its self indulgent the way sastra wangi is framed by some literary critics. it doesnt seem like the author actually enjoyed the bits of smut theyre writing. take for example, cerpen mereka bilang saya monyet (not the movie!), the sex are only implied and mentioned, and is a way for the characters to degrade themselves. the protagonist is dehumanized as she is looked down upon even though they fucked with her just like the others, she's just self aware about it. you can even say its prude-ish? compare this with a whole lot of books written by men where the sexual undertones in their plots serves more of a gratituous eye candy for the author.
and finally, there are great books that is technically in line with sastra wangi's original definition but since its written by a man, they didnt label it as sastra wangi. another example im bringing in is tuhan izinkan aku jadi pelacur. they discuss religion, sex and gender almost like a brilliant fusion of the smutty social realism side and religious romance side of sastra wangi put together. but its just labeled as a plain ol' social critique book. im pretty sure a lot of feminist sastra wangi novels and cerpen are all poignant social critique on their own right. why are they cloistered one with the religious romances and bodice ripper novels?

in lusophone communities, people associate neopronouns with xenopronouns or nounself pronouns (but they are very performative in portuguese because our language isn't only about pronouns, eg. suffixes (-e/-o/-a) and grammatical articles (a/o/ê, um/uma/ume)). but elu and ile are technically neopronouns. and delu & dile are contractions, not pronouns lol. ê is a neoarticle (neoartigo, pesquise). and people try to call neosuffixes as neodesinences but not every suffix/word ending is a desinence. suffix is also a generalization.
enfim, I study it a lot because it's part of my hyperfocus/hyperfixation. and these are forms of neolanguage (neolinguagem, pesquise). in spanish community they reject the term because it sounds like neolengua (newspeak/novílingua, a term used by (anti)stalinists). neolanguage includes neoarticles and neosuffixes, neoconjuncts (neoconjuntos, such as u/ilu/-y).
some people also reject the term gender-neutral language as a way to group all neolanguage, because not every neopronoun is neutrally gendered and they try to unlink/unleash gender from it (because women also use neopronouns and it doesn't make them any less female because of it). but sometimes I find these conceptualizations as too idealistic. in an everyday world, I prefer handy terms or to be simple for lay people. more like homocore situationism
Unfortunately I think it’s going to take a long time until people actually start using those pronouns (besides the LGBTQ+ community).

Hello to anyone/anybeing who are reading this. I'm Eradiel, someone really undead writing on Tumblr since March this year after the discover of my alterhumanity.
In the queer community I'm presented as a gnc transmasculine, but tbh since my coming out the connection with gender just faded away completely. Nonbinary is okay to me, also I'm aroace.
But I'm neurodivergent too, diagnosed as Autistic on December last year. My focus are AAC like apps and sign language because speak with voice are really hard.
The main focus on this blog are otherkin posts specially related to my kintype, but I share content about visual novels, games, art in general, my formation as sign language translator and gender/sexuality topics too.

She’s wrong and selfish to feel uncomfortable, to lose her newfound boldness when her mate was around.
She needs to apologise to him for feeling that way cause she’s just an indecisive woman and is too blind by the greatness of her mate (whom is a cinnamon roll that could do no wrong)
The audacity of Elain for not liking her mate. How dare Elain have feelings for another guy but her own mate. How dare she hurt his feeling when she herself, feel wretched when he’s around. P/S: I dont care if people ship elain and lucien. Like I get they love their dynamic lightxlight thingy. But I HATE when those people dismiss Elain’s feeling like its NOTHING. WHAT SHE FEELS IS WRONG. SHE’S WRONG. I acknowledge Elain’s approach to this issue might not be the best, but her feelings are valid. If she felt certain way then there’s must be a huge reason. Bulan Februari lalu secara tetiba diajak ke solo sm orang promkes dinas buat acara konferensi penerapan KTR di Solo, penyelenggaranya adinkes. 10 bulan berjalan, mungkin belum ada gebrakan yg bener2 wah banget tp i want to apreciate my self krn sudah berhasil melaksanakan grand Launching AMATIR "Anak Muda Anti Rokok."
Kegiatan ini merupakan inovasi yg dijunjung oleh kapus gue, die yg bikin nama, kita yg disuruh action. Ya begitulah pimpinan:") wkkw but ya emang semua yg dikasih sm Allah tu selalu ada hikmahnya.
Dan AMATIR ini juga yg membawa saya diajak ke Bali insyaAllah kamis besok, sm orang dinas dan tentu kapusku tercinta, drg.rahmina dewi.
Awalanya agak shock ya bun, krn ngerasa eh gimana? BALI? Mimpi kesambet apa gue jalan ke Bali abis dr lombok?
Allah tu emang Baik banget masyaAllah huhuu. Bbrp hari yg lalu gue emang sempet ngomong "ih aku blm pernah ke balii. Kapan ya bisa jalan kesanaaa?"
Dan Bum! After drama di dalam hidupqu, stress panjang ngurus anak sendiri dan bebisik yg kurang menyenangkan, kaya cuma bisa bilang Terimakasih ya Allah. MasyaAllah tabarakallah.
Gue baru scroll lagi ini acara apasi, fokusnya kemana. Dan baru gue baca rundown detilnyaaa dan amajing. Like pengisinya orang2 keren, dr menkes, UNION, Tobacco Control, sampai bbrp negara dihadirkan buat sharing session terkai tembakau di wilayahnya. Termasuk bapak walikota terzheyeng, bapak Idris. Dan ga nyangkanya, inovasi AMATIR dimasukin di paparan beliau. Oemji. Saya merasa tertampar zzzz
Dari dulu gue selalu mikir, ya rokok masalah yg berat dan kaga keliatan titik terangnya, krn kalo ga sakit ya ga berenti ngerokok. Tp hampir setahun mulai lagi mendalami ttg rokok, i think masih ada kemungkinan untuk perlahan dibenahi, utamanya dr lingkungan terkecil, keluarga.
Bulan september, gue juga dpt kesempatan buat ikut course singkat dr Nanyang Polytechic Singapore, disana juga dijelaskan bahwa mereka punya program quit smoking dg memberdayakan kader kesehatan remaja gituu. Tp ya sistem mereka emg udh baguss, cuma ya kita ga boleh berkecil hati.. setidaknya kita sudah mulai bergerak, tinggal diseriusin lagi aja gasi:")
Pas kemarin dapet report de SMA Avicenna, mereka sudah melakukan edukasi dan pengecekan kadar CO ke temen2nya. Itu merupakan bentuk pemberdayaan kannn? Dan kamu harus bersyukur sill, it's work! Pelatihan TOT yg km kasih ke anak osis mereka berhasil di laksanakan walau mungkin belum terlalu kelihatan hasilnya.
Cuma ya, ayok diusahakan kembali. Bisa kok pelan2. Kali aja besok2 inovasi ini bisa terbukti menurunkan angka perokok pemula di cinere? Asik juga buat jadi paper.. atau bisa jadi makalah nakesdan? Atau jadi bahan thesis? haha sumpah mimpi aja dulu ya bun. Gapapa, kapan lagi emak2 satu anak yg ditinggal suaminya sekolah 4 tahun punya optimisme lagi kaya gini.
Kalo adek gue sempet bilang gue meredup, mudah2an silmy bisa pelan2 kembali bercahaya.
Gue meyakini, setiap hal yg Allah kasih emang selalu ada hikmahnya. Meski bersakit2 dahulu atau kaya yaampun udah ga kuat, sampe juga di titik ga punya harapan hidup, kaya hidup cuma menjalani dari hari ke hari. Padahal Allah ga ngajarin gitu kan besti..
Sama juga ayo bangkitin lagi tekad buat hidup sehat. Elu promotor kesehatan sil, kalo elu ga sehat, ga rajin olahraga, bullshit banget semua yg elo omongin ke orang2. Malu juga ga si:") hahhaha. Isokay, pelan2 aja gapapa. I know, km udah berprogress meski sedikit. Semua butuh waktu.
And then gila gue seneng bgt ini bisa menulis harapan dan optimisme setelah sekian lama.. kaya isi tumblr gue biasanya ga jauh2 dr kesedihan dan yha curhadan seorang istri residen. Tp hari ini aku bisa menulis yg lebih berbobot lol.

muse b faz o tipo que winnie não suporta. não foi surpresa para ninguém quando assim que se encontraram pela primeira vez, já se desentenderam.

muse d conhece winnie desde que essa era uma garotinha que corria pelo acampamento de chiquinhas no cabelo e os pés sujos de lama. elu lembra muito bem de como ela se incomodava com a forma como puxava seus cabelos.

So I have questions, that you don’t HAVE to answer obviously but I’m very curious and excited:
1- i really loved the friendship between Patrick and Cameron in the movie, very cute and underrated imo, so I wondered if since it will be a Basile x Eliott situation (i think), will it be more expended in your fic and will Basile still have a crush on Eliott 😂?
2- Will Idriss be the Michael to Basile or an og character in Eliott’s friend group? Or will Arthur be the Michael?
3- will Lucas and Charles still have a History or will you change that part?
4- will you soften Eliott or will he be as antisocial and « scary » as Patrick was?

Agreed. Underrated friendship. I definitely include some of those moments - in particular those moments of Patrick giving Cameron advice (the 'don't let anyone make you feel less than' kind of advice). And naturally Basile must be very appreciative of how hot Eliott is...
So the only 'friend' Patrick seems to have is mohawk guy...
So I for sure give Idriss and Eliott's relationship more attention and depth. Arthur is Michael.

4. Eliott is definitely pretty soft yeah. But Eliott in canon had some pretty anti-social behaviours, and Patrick was honestly a big softy too, so it's actually a pretty good match in terms of characters. Plus it's pretty easy to give Eliott very good reasons for being anti-social.
