I know that supernatural god-tier/homestuck posting is something that only I specifically (and my boyfriend) cares about but I’m giving myself a little treat by indulging it. next up is Castiel, Gabriel, Jack, and Andy (+ Ansem), but I also have god tier hcs for Michael, Lucifer, Raphael, Ruby, and a few others

I know it's debatable that sam even needed demon blood to get strong in the first place (ava, jake and ansem weems didn't), but going with the theory that he did, I came to a conclusion. demons are just souls, therefore demon blood is really just human blood, from a body that has a demon in it. which means that something about a demon soul must alter human blood enough that it acquires some kind of dopping (and addictive) property. the best guess as to what that component is is sulfur. because that's what demons usually live behind and also what was in the croatoan virus. thus, instead of killing possessed people to drain them of blood before surrendering to lucifer, sam could have just. taken a spoonful of sulfur.
