Instagram Submissions

After my Instagram feature on @weltraummagazine gave me some exposure and increased the number of people I am interacting with on Instagram, I wanted to explore further opportunities for my work to be seen by a wider audience. There are many different platforms and pages which have open submissions (predominantly through Instagram hashtags), some with more of a following and industry reach than others.

Another Place Magazine (@anotherplacemagazine, 17.9k followers)

Another Place Magazine is an online magazine showcasing a wide range of contemporary landscape photography. It also has a publishing branch, Another Place Press (@anotherplacepress), producing limited edition artists books.

Subjectively, Objective (@subjectivelyobjective, 51.2k followers)

Subjectively, Objective is an organisation which showcases contemporary photography. Each photographer featured on their Instagram feed showcases 12 images. From these Instagram features, Subjectively, Objective produces a series of “mini monographs” twice a month. Larger bodies of work are featured in online exhibition and a monthly “monograph magazine”. The organisation also has a space in America, showing physical exhibitions.

There are also a number of other online platforms and Instagram only platforms with large followings that post landscape imagery:
