today at work a customer walked in wearing a reanimator t-shirt and after doing the most violent double-take to make sure it wasn't just my brain conjuring up delusions, i spent a full minute figuring out how to compliment it without coming across like a total rabid maniac

I am one of two people in two teamss at work who knows the Ancient and Forbidden Art of Refilling the Toilet Towel Holder.

The other one works part time.

The instructions on how to do it are on the inside of the dispenser, in helpful pictures.

At least once a week, several dozen fully grown women, trusted by a bunch of tight fisted fossils from accounting to pay out ten thousand euros or more, from both teams (including the leader of the team I'm not part of) see an empty towel holder and decide, rather than try and refill it themselves, rather than fetch either person who can fix the problem, what they really want to do is dry their hands on a soggy roll of toilet paper several people with wet hands have used before them, or just not wash their hands at all.

Our department head is mystefied how we hit the flu wave so early every year.

Today someone decided to throw out tuna in the nonrecyclable waste in the toilet. The trash cans are located in the least well ventilated area of the room.

And to top it all off, someone stepped in something that looks and behaves like excrement, walked into a stall, noticed stains that look like... well, shit, on the floor behind them and, instead of looking inward, walked to the other, still clean stall and soiled that too.

I've never been happier to be wearing a dress at work.

I already look forward to the email full of corporate euphemisms we'll get from the department head tomorrow asking what the fuck is wrong with us.

1941 - Disney animators went on strike after Walt Disney refused to let his workers unionize. The workers were angry about unfair policies on pay and benefits. On the picket line the animators lynched and guillotined an effigy of Walt Disney himself.

After four months Walt Disney caved to the demands and let the workers unionize, striking a deal which included the reinstatement of employees fired before the strike, equalization of pay, a clearer salary structure and a grievance procedure. •Calling family and friends to kill a pig and eat it in an almost ritualistic nature
