Scrooge McDuck and his sister Matilda, Donald Duck and his nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck

I read The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck collection by Don Rosa as well as some of his comics and I really enjoyed it. I'm planning to draw again related to that, since it's also the 75th anniversary of Scrooge McDuck.

But before that I drew as a redraw from two great works. One is from the comic cover where Donald is holding his nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie and I think it was done by Andrea Freccero, while the other is from the comic book "A letter from home" by Don Rosa, making this comic chronologically the end of The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck where Scrooge McDuck and his sister Matilda reconcile after a very long time. I drew this where after finding the Templar's fortune in the caves below McDuck Castle and where Scrooge repents of his bad deeds he did in the past and admits to his sister that his nephew Donald and Donald's nephews have changed his life for the better and the family is on in the first place, not material wealth. Yes, Donald is the best parent for boys, no matter what anyone thinks otherwise. Matilda forgives her brother and later entrusts him with her father's letter.

In fact, this comic is for me the ideal ending to Ducktales, because you can see what is actually the greatest value. Real love in the family, not adventures or material riches. I combined the two styles in my own way while drawing this. I hope you like this drawing.

Speaking of the Christ the redeemer statue-

It was portrayed on a cover of a pocket book and there are some differences between countries.

The Finnish publication removed the duckified Jesus ‘to avoid complaints’.

I’m not sure if there had been some complaints in other countries, the Finnish publication used the image later than the Danish etc.

Also the Polish one turned Jesus human because no duck jesus 4 u poland
