Idk why I never did this before but if you like building in the sims but your houses all kinda end up looking exactly the same on the interior (like mine do) then I highly recommend using a random color pallette generator

Like this is the best house I've built in awhile

You could probably stick to one color pallette for the whole house if you wanted but I'm using a different one for each room

For the bathrooms shared between 2 bedrooms i combined aspects of both color pallettes and for the master bathroom I used the same pallette as the master bedroom.

I think it even looks good for the rooms that aren't actually separated from each other (the kitchen and informal dining room kept the same pallette while the living room and hallway are different ones)

Not all the color pallettes are gonna work exactly right (like tone and shade wise) cuz you have to work with the swatches you have available but ive managed to keep them pretty close to the pallettes the generator gave me.

#ill post better pictures once its finished #and upload it to the gallery #im building it for a legacy challenge thats why its so big #i usually do like 4 bedrooms max #im starting out with the pregnant challenge which was created by kpopp (or poppkell on twitch and twitter)#back in 2012/2013 in sims 3 #where you try to have babies with every man in town #now when kellys founding sim died she just continued the same challenge with the sims kids #but my plan is to just take one of the youngest kids and continue on with just a normal legacy challenge #im waiting for the infant update to start it tho #i feel like that will add to it #kelly usually just aged the kids up to children right away but i like for them to age normally #makes it a little more challenging if you have to make sure theyre fed until theyre able to do that themselves #also that way the ages of the kids are staggered correctly instead large groups of them basically being the same age #sims have a bit more personality now that the games been out for almost a decade #so it should be more fun than when i attempted it back in the early days of sims 4 #also i have mc command center now #i really want the high school pack #and the generations type pack thats coming out after the infant update
