#youngblood chronicles#*mine#*art#this is soooo sketchy but im off my game today#id is in the alt text as well#nice and messed up thinking about these two all the time every day always#messed up all the time thinking about them. about reconciliation and forgiveness and how it's pretty much unconditional#and ybc joe. god man#he cant do this without deflecting. hes like haha its no big. haha sorry for getting killed#he puts it on himself. like i cant conceptualize a convo about this where he's being 100% sincere#because to be sincere is to be vulnerable and he's like ohhhh god thats no good. no thanks i will be deadpan and unassuming#he doesnt wanna put this on patrick because he knows patrick is weighted with the guilt of all this#he doesnt want to add to that so he deflects. he buries it. hes so good at that#hes built up these layers upon layers of self-protective irony and sarcasm and wry commentary#hes gotten so good at this that he no longer quite understands what it is to be unreserved about his reservations. its just not instinct#he doesnt even realize hes doing it! thats what really gets me!#anyway this has been character analysis of this particular ybc relationship in the tags of a sketch i did in 20 mins#just so you all know im messed up about these two literally all the time#and that was the point of this meandering diatribe in the tags. they mess me up so bad
