*me about to read the Lais of Marie de France* oh fun! we get to read stories for seminar this week!
*immediately gets slapped in the face by Amatonormativity(tm) in the very first story*
#story of guigemar my beloathed#at least there was also a werewolf story#but it was really short#also i just finished writing almost 300 words about amatonormativity in that text#even though i wasn't able to actually use the term#and my reflection was supposed to be 250 words MAX haha#they cannot stop me#also in seminar yesterday Shrek came up so that was fun#and also we talked about tropes and i just went !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#and i was all bouncy and stimmy and excited and lost control of my voice and talked really loud haha#and. i may have told the entire class about the hanahaki trope. BUT it was relevant bc in some of the lais people got sick#from falling in love and they blamed other people for it#and there was one other person who knew that trope and she was like nO#our seminar was just Chaos yesterday#we're like 10-15 19 to 20-ish year olds who frequently lapse into silence in the middle of discussion for like 10-20 seconds#but that day we were FERAL#it was fun#ANYWAY#lise talks#actually aro#aro#aromantic#actually aromantic#aroace
