oh thank god finally found a safe food that isn’t applesauce
#shhh sharkie#the struggle to eat rn has been terrible#everything turns to ash in my mouth if i spend longer than a minute trying to eat it#applesauce and ice cream and clementines have been like the only things i’ve been able to eat more than a few bites without wanting to die#and broth from spicy instant ramen but not the noodles#and ive been trying for chips/crackers but ubereats keeps delivering the wrong ones (probably on me for trying to reorder from that store)#and i’ve been basically just trying to chew and use water to help swallow before i have to actually taste the things#but then i remembered i had this bag of bagel crisps and i was like yknow lets try those with butter and see if we get anywhere#AND Y’ALL I HAVE FINALLY FOUND THE SOLID FOOD I NEEDED#they’re light and crispy so not heavy to chew and it was perfect to have them with butter spread on them#plus they’re salty which i realize now has been something my body has desperately been craving#I ate a whole bunch with butter and didn’t choke or gag on them at any point and the texture was perfect#I could cry I’m so happy I finally found something solid that works#fuck covid it fucked up all my already fucked food sensitivities
