PAULINA FLAVIUS as the DAME WITH A CASE

A hardboiled detective is loafing around behind his desk, waiting for something to happen. The impetus for getting the story going arrives in the form of a dame. Richly dressed, she cuts an impressive figure. She states to the private eye that she has a case for him. Don't expect the dame to be what meets the eye. She might know more about the case than she is letting on... Sweet as saccharine, is she truly as kind and earnest as she seems?

#spoiler alert: hell no LMFAO #paulina is kind at heart but she is still a flavian #;))))))#and family comes first #unfortunately afiy had already trusted her and her story...#romance club #RCGCAW #gladiator chronicles #paulina flavius #gc noir au #afiy had dealt with betrayal all his life since he became an orphan #and all kinds of people (liars and cheaters and scared souls) g=have entered his agency for help #he usually has a good eye for people but paulina has a face so earnest you can't help but trust her #did she struggle with the decision to betray afiy (and rix)? yes; very much #but there was only ever one answer; and it was house flavius #to quote parasite: nice because they are rich #bless paulina she's lovely but she: 1. will always put family first and 2. is a bit out of touch with the working class #paulina is such an interesting character to me because she both despises augusta's cruelty AND looks up to/is dependent on her #the movie makes it seem like they're both polar opposites at first (one being `good` and one being `bad`)#but of course women are not one dimensional characters; and we'll see the sisters develop a closer relationship; and how similar they are
