New Abyss is complete. Muuuch better than the previous one.

1st and 3rd chamber:

Yoimiya, Xingqiu, Yun Jin, Zhongli

Noelle, Gorou, Albedo, Ningguang

Noelle really, really needs a better artifact set. She’s running 4pc Glad and her damage can’t keep up. I had some trouble with doing second half of the first chamber in time, despite Yoimiya faithfully burning through the PMA (and also the Dendro chicken in the last chamber).

For the second half of the last chamber, I actually got Noelle killed twice lol. It did work once I figured out that I needed to swap out during the downtime of her shield and healing and use everyone else’s bursts to stall until she was ready to start healing again. Overall, it wasn’t too bad, but the abyss blessing was also very favorable for these two teams. It’ll probably be harder next cycle.

2nd chamber:

Sucrose, Fischl, Beidou, Xingqiu

Ningguang, Zhongli, Bennett Xiangling

Not sure if Noelle Mono Geo could have done the Wolflord in a timely manner, but I just took it easy and used Ningguang double pyro instead. Managed it on the first try, so that was nice.

Now, some general notes.

I watched a few early videos of this abyss to get a feel for it and also because the teams are more interesting to me this time (less Nahida lol). Here are the ones I liked.

This one has Eula and Ayato teams. On Ayato’s side, I found out that Yun Jin’s charge level 2 skill (hold until it’s fully charged) can break the skulls in one shot, because it turns out it applies 4U of geo, as much as Zhongli’s burst. This is how you’d do it if you use Yoimiya as well, I guess.

This one is a guide that covers both floor 11 and floor 12. The interesting part is that Noelle is used as a driver for hyperbloom on the second half. I keep forgetting you can do that, but I’ve seen her drive taser and even Kaeya melt as well. This is how you’d use her prior to C6, since her personal damage isn’t as relevant in this case. You’d stick her with Fav Greatsword and DEF for tanking, healing and battery-ing.
