she was doing a q&a on her insta stories and unprovoked she basically just said manchester food is horrible, all frozen, and all we care about is alcohol lol. this was about two months ago and I remember seeing it at the time and thinking that's gonna come back to bite her ! and finally it has

So Jamie Tartt is from North Manchester
From what I figure based on him walking to his mam's from city centre he likely lived in Cheetham Hill or Ancoats. He's mentioned before he grew up on a council estate, and his mam's house was unmistakably on one (they all have a similar look and "no ball games" signs everywhere). This means it was likely a New Charter estate, which was renamed Jigsaw a few years back, but they've never changed any of the signs or owt, they all still say New Charter and get called as such.
Just some small geography details for people interested in Manchester either because of Ted Lasso and Jamie or some other fandom.
I grew up in Beswick (bez-ick) for trivia, so I was a ten minute walk from Etihad most of my life even though we moved about a lot, including into Clayton and back etc.
