these writhing masses are serene in their demeanor but, beneath the surface is a hunger for control. Crawler wyrms have a strong drive to hypnotize prey with swirling movements and sweet songs. You won’t find these creatures on just any ship. They’re picky, and even when scavenging prefer cold, sprawling spacecraft where they can coil into corners to lure unsuspecting victims with the echo of their subtle melody.

Infectious creatures of the deltan territories entry 2/?: the shifters of planet Panix/taker of forms

Ruthless, ravenous, and highly intelligent: this subspecies of panix shifters is largely humanoid but can take on the form or quirks of any being it comes into contact with according to their own needs. Despite their immense drive to hunt, The taker of forms is a patient and crafty hunter: it mimics the voices of it’s previous victims to lure more prey, camouflages into most textures and has a strange cunning/adaptability that is counterbalanced only by its characteristic bloodlust. Its deceptively realistic luring cries can be distinguished from real sounds by the unique rasp a trained ear can suss out.you may however stumble upon those rare few that have trained themselves in actual speech/language, in which case you are advised above all other consideration to run far and fast; this is a variant you will likely not survive.
