Behind The Scenes...

6:18p, Simsdom Imperial Embassy, Wakaba, Komorebi

Reyna: What in the…

Samantha: Hola, Mija, how was your study group?

Reyna: Mama, what is going on? Why is everything in boxes?

Sam: Dios… The school office must not have given you my message.

Reyna: What message?

Ricardo: We’ve been summoned-

Sam: Mijo, you’re not helping. Her Imperial Majesty has called us back to the Empire. My assignment in Komorebi is over and I’m needed back in Glimmerbrooke.

Reyna: What?! Without any warning?!

Ignás: Mija, your mama is very important to Her Majesty-

Reyna: So important she can’t give any advanced warning?

Sam: There’s trouble brewing, I can’t tell you any more than that. But Her Majesty requested my military experience on her privy council and as quickly as possible. She paid for movers to come this morning and help us box everything up. We’re just finishing up here and then we’ll be on the next plane out tomorrow morning.

Reyna: Tomorrow!? What about school!?

Ignás: Her Majesty has offered to pay for your education in Glimmerbrooke, isn’t that kind?

Sam: It’s a very generous offer, mija, you’ll get to go to the best school in the Empire!

Ricardo: Let’s go Dragons!

Sam: Mijo! Please…

Reyna: What about my friends here? What about Mei!?

Sam: Princess Mei will still be your friend, you can call her and talk to her whenever you want. And anyways, eres tan bonita y inteligente y divertida, you’ll make plenty of new friends.

Reyna: I don’t want new friends, I want to keep my old friends. I don’t want to leave Mei!

Ignás: Mija…

Sam: Reyna Manuela Guadalupe Medieros! When your father and I say we are doing something, you will listen! Now go to your room, you’ll need an early night’s sleep if we’re to leave on time tomorrow.

*Reyna storms off*

Ignás: You better go too, Ricardo

Ricardo: Sí Papa. Buenas noches, Mama y Papa.

Sam: Buenas noches, mijo.

Crown Princess Lands in Komorebi!

After a long and tiring flight north, over the mountains, Crown Princess Ophelia safely landed at the Imperial Mountain Airport in the foothills of Mt. Komorebi.

HIH was all bundled up against the cold, as Mt. Komorebi is famous for having snow year round! Of course, further down the mountain and into the valley, things warm up, but the mountain itself is known for being the place for winter sports of all kinds because of their constant fresh later of powdery snow.

Ophelia greeted the smaller crowd of Komorebi citizens who had gathered to see her, shivering and bundled up themselves, with grace and a sweet smile.

She was met at the airport with a car and the Simsdom Ambassador to the Komorebi Empire, Ambass. Samantha Medieras, and her family, husband Mr. Ignás Medieras and children Reyna and Ricardo Medieras.

Mrs. Medieras began her career as Imperial Ambassador when she was Miss Samantha Winchester, a young woman fresh out of a post-graduate school internship with the Selvadoradan Embassy in San Myshuno. Then on one of her trips back to the Simsdom Empire, she met Ignás, and he moved with her when she returned to Komorebi. He works as a freelance artist now and both have expressed how grateful they are that their children get this unique growing-up experience.

Of course, HIH took the time to greet the youngest members of her welcoming committee, Miss Reyna, who said she had been practicing her curtsy for just this very moment, and shy little Ricardo, who wasn't quite sure who this strange person was talking to him! 😂

After all the greetings and introductions had been made, everyone bundled up into the car and made the hour-long journey down the mountain and into the capitol city of Komorebi- Wakaba City- where things started to warm up and the lush green of Komorebi started to appear. HIH was taken to the Imperial Embassy, where the Medieras family lives and where the Crown Princess will be staying for the duration of her trip!
