Here we stand Worlds apart, hearts broken in two, two, two Sleepless nights Losing ground, I'm reachin' for you, you, you
Someday, love will find you Break those chains that bind you One night will remind you How we touched and went our separate ways
edit: added a spicy texture

Why Byler is NOT Unrequited?
(Really just a thought that came to my mind when I saw this particular scene)
Last Scene of SEASON 3
First of all, the sequence of scenes shot in the final goodbye scene when Byers move.
It starts with Lucas and Max singing teasingly to Dustin. Then it shifts to Will coming in with D&D set putting it in the donation box.
COMMON Observation among Byler Fandom
The song and lyrics added to the particular scene when Will enters the shot. This again, along with MANY and I mean MANY hints from the very beginning of the show points at Will’s well kept secret regarding his sexuality. That we all pretty much know ;)
MY THEORY , more like MY OBSERVATION ( And I am in no means film expert, I am Film enthusiast )
Now IF Byler is Unrequited, that is if it is one-sided then the scene doesn’t really make sense.
Why you ask ?
Well, if only Will has feelings for Mike and Mike doesn’t,  then the scene could have been shot through only Will’s perspective. That is, the Camera should follow Will walking into the room. And if my memory serves right ( it’s been a while since I have watched the show). We do see Camera following Will. [ absolutely correct me if I am wrong, I am not able to find the clip right at the moment to look it up here though this doesn’t really impact my observation ]
BUT  we also see through Mike’s side. We watch along with Mike Will entering the room. Then, the shot ( their entire conversation ) is not single frame.  To make it easier for you to understand, remember the previous scene of Max and Lucas singing, they are siting opposite each other but the Camera is not moving , it covers both of them in one frame. We can see both of them TOGETHER.
But with Byler, we see each of their reactions to the other person separately. The camera focuses on them individually interacting with each other, Reacting to the other.
AND at the end the shot- it pauses on Mike. Specifically capturing his reaction to Will’s reply “Not Possible”
They want the audience to really take in his reaction. And his smile is not a simple, light smile the one you give to your friend, okay best friend.
It is a glowing, soft smile with heart eyes.
IF The feelings are only from Will’s end then we could have had the camera only focus on him or if they really want to be discreet about him then just like Lumax it could have been a still shot. Both of them together in a frame
But they made a choice to show us Mike’s POV.
It doesn’t end here, they kept this scene not AFTER the Mileven scene that follows but RIGHT BEFORE. They didn’t even kept this scene right at the end. Because they wanted the audience to have this journey along Mike and they ended the scene with Mileven shot in a very similar way. Again the camera stays on Mike and his reaction to El’s love confession at the end.
I have some opinions on that as well. I won’t get into it as I have seen it everywhere on Tumblr.
My feelings are mutual.
All I like to add is
Even as a casual viewer Mike’s reaction is unusual. It’s completely understandable to be in shock or stunt (in his case) to have your crush, more like the LOVE OF YOUR LIFE (Right Mike !?! ) reciprocate your feelings.
But anyone, any common human being on this PLANET will smile, if not full blown with heart eyes then a plain simple smile or a giddy one at that to show their happiness.
Mike doesn’t
Which is unusual,  also because of his character. His character in this series has shown to be very expressive, very on the face and passionate. Unlike Will’s or even Eleven, Mike expresses everything he feels. His anger, his frustrations, his disappointment, his happiness - everything is loud. Even the exaggerated eye roll he gives all the older characters (many times throughout the show). With him  everything is loud.  So it makes sense to have his feelings, his love be more expressive.
Which it isn’t.
And I also say this because the camera LINGERS while zooming out. It LINGERS ON HIM.
So we have couple seconds with him, and his expression doesn’t change AT ALL.
With the amount of screen time in that moment for him he could have had various consecutive reactions. But the choice made here is to show only ONE EXPRESSION
Entailing what ? Confusion, realization with the shock.
I don’t know, certainly doesn’t look like someone who is happy to know that the person who he loves reciprocates the feeling.
This with the Byler scene before really wants the audience to see the contrast. Similar to the Mileven Break up/ Byler fight scene.
Well that is all I had to say about this for now.
to be honest I am not that confident in Mileven breakup, not after the HYPE it has on the social media. I think Byler is only possible if The Duffer Brothers choose to stay true to their art, their story and their original endgame (which I think was BYLER 100%). But if the network wants them to go with the hype, with the “fans” then they will keep Mileven together [ depicting them as the couple against all odds ]
I truly hope they don’t
I truly hope for Byler
