spent like 6 hours going through the depp v heard case and i am just so fucking soulless at this point. started out neutral but vaguely pro-depp bc social media osmosis but after again 6 HOURS of digging thru the weeds and actually reading up on it i’ve realized thats fucking insane

#it was an abusive relationship but johnny was clearly the aggressor and her actions were reactionary #doesn’t justify anything #but how can you look at that man’s texts and call him innocent #also the girlbossification of camille vasquez is beyond me. it’s not even that shes misogynistic or anything (which.. i mean….) but she is #just #not a good lawyer it seems like?#tbf i’ve only seen cherry picked clips but most of them were from vasquez stans saying she ate heard up #like no girl heard is destroying her #even before i had an opinion on this (aka 6 hours prior) i saw the clips and felt embarrassed for vasquez #vasquez: this document says you showed no signs of injury correct #amber (after looking at it for a moment confused): it also says i’m ‘a well-nourished male’#vasquez: …. i have no idea what that means #amber: i don’t think it means much of anything #etc etc rtc #like case aside vasquez just keeps getting embarrassed up there #my mom who is a lawyer (for a nonprofit but still) is shocked that ppl think she’s good #idek man #this entire thing is fuckinh w my brain and making me so scared for the future
