#beauty and the beast 30th anniversary#h.e.r.#josh groban#joshua henry#jon jon briones#david alan grier#rizwan manji#i know people don't like that it's half animated but this is paying homage to the animated movie#i GET it. i want a full musical of this cast#also know that rizwan was a casting choice people were iffy about but i love that he committed to the physical comedy#wish we got the dance scene#and scenes with beast lumiere pottsand cogsworth#and more jon jon briones with h.e.r.#gabriella sarmiento wilson#proud to be filipino#maurice reminded me of my dad even more than he usually does#martin short gave me some preminger in his lumiere which i appreciated#also liked the interpretive dancing in the prologue and the rose petals ngl#wished that 'home' 'me' and 'if i can't love her' were performed#found it funny that david was taller than martin because lumiere is shorter than cogsworth#leo abelo perry#also i find it clever that the interpretive dancers are rose petals that kind of highlight the beautiful score of the film#and david alan grier's chemistry with martin short was so good#martin short#gabi wilson
