Tangled: The Series Q&A with Kait.
This is a recapitulation from today’s (September 14, 2019) Questions and Answers session with Kait on the Tangled Discord Server.
Tumblr media
Q: Which Disney princesses outside of Tangled the series can you see Varian being friends with? Nonfranchise ones included.
A: I think Belle is the first one who comes to mind!! She’s super studious and goes against the grain…not to mention her father is an inventor who’s a little off-base! 🙂 I think he’d be super comfortable experimenting with Belle and her dad and reading awesome stories! (Maybe even sharing the Tales of Flynn Rider with her! …Assuming she hasn’t read it! Haha. ) He could also eat ham sandwiches with Anna. Sorry. Second thought. Lol!!
Q: So Kait, as a storyboard artist on the show what kind of little details, quirks or creative touches did you or any other artists put into Varian scenes you or others storyboarded?
A: Ha!! Any acting scene with Varian I had…I pretty much based off of Anna Lencioni (my best friend/ another board artist on the show.) Anna makes these very specific expressions and she gestures to herself a lot and closes her eyes and creases her brows and says things like “A-huh! Actually…” or “Um!!” Before making a point and it’s always reminded me of him.
She kept a “flynnolium” prop from Halloween with green goo in a vial in her cubicle at work so long it grew mold. She said she was studying it. She found scrap metal in her boot one day. She has a basement lab for her experiments and crafts. She befriended two raccoons at her last apartment. She is the most accident-prone person with freckles I’ve ever met…she’s pretty much him.
Jeremy Jordan’s reads give you so much to work with…and I love that character so much I feel a natural sort of understanding of how he might say something or do something…but Anna would always do these specifically Anna things that I had to use for Varian.
Q: Do you have any specific advice for aspiring storyboard artists or people who aspire to work in animation?
A: Gestural drawings help you learn to draw fast…which is a very important part of storyboarding. I would say storyboarding‘ s biggest requirements are clarity and speed. Lots of productions have different requirements in terms of what they look for from story artists. Tangled‘s leadership cared a lot about drawing skill, animation, layout, etc. because it more strongly informed the animation studio to have those things. The show I’m working on now (Monsters at Work) is a 3D show…so for our production, the emphasis is more on story and speed. We pitch ideas more than we pitch drawings…so clarity is important and acting is too, but we’re far less precious about tying down drawings and animating since we shift into the 3D production pipeline after story. The boards are still very important…but the more technical aspects are a *little* less so. The focus is just more on story and character and what the board artists can bring to their scenes.
So I’d say just practice drawing…maybe try and give someone a prompt or ask a friend for one. Choose a theme! Maybe vampires? What’s the worst thing that could happen to a vampire? What’s the best thing? What’s the funniest thing? What if they were also an alien? Or fused with a werewolf? Or chained to one? What would happen? Giving yourself a starting point for an idea will inspire you to explore all the possibilities for humor, drama, etc. in that idea. If you’re struggling to give yourself a prompt, try looking online…or maybe choosing a song you like or a passage from a book for inspiration.
There’s also this really fun thing you can do to study cinematography and shot composition called a “three tone” exercise. Basically…put on your favorite (live action) film, grab a sketchbook, grab a black and grey marker, and use the white of the page for your third tone. What you wanna do is (as you’re watching or while pausing) sketch a small thumbnail using only three grey tones of what you see on the screen. Draw the shot- where the characters are, try and duplicate the lighting…it teaches you a lot! 🙂 (Phew!)
Q: Do you have any fun non-spoiler head canons about Varian?
A: I think his favorite dessert is apple pie and I think he bakes recreationally very often! He’s probably a good cook. (Though he may have one or two minor accidents……a burnt thing here and there. Minor oil splatters….haha!!)
Q: What’ve been your favorite episodes, both to storyboard and in general? Of course, no specifics if it’s S3
A: Haha! Well…What The Hair and Queen for A Day have special places in my heart because they were such big moments for my favorite character…(Varian, haha.) But I’d say the episodes I had the most fun boarding are all in season 3!!! Which is exciting! I have to start compiling some work to post! 🙂 I think the episode I had the most fun with is one you guys will really enjoy.
Q: Will we get some interesting surprises (In Season 3)?
A: Without any spoilers- absolutely!! The show is always full of those.
Q: So We’ve heard many fans express why they love Varian as a charcter before, I’d love to know what drew you and Anna to Varian as well and why you guys personally found him to be a great character.
A: When Shane Prigmore originally pitched the character to me, he was much younger. He was like 11 or so, I think? Maybe 12? He’s still pretty young…but what Shane said was that he wanted him to go from this wide-eyed kid to this dark, angry person whose bangs fell over those wide, bright eyes…just full of rage. That idea was super interesting to me…it just hit on something in character development that I felt like I’d never exactly seen before? He was so young and it was such an interesting idea to me to make a child the villain and to give that child a strong reason to be angry? It felt like it was taking this child very seriously, which I appreciate. It felt very real and very dark.
The thing that threw me through a loop but also evolved my fascination with the character was Jeremy Jordan’s casting. I listened to a lot of the auditions they had for various actors and I had seen a ton of Shane’s concept art of the character…a lot of them were VERY different than what we have now. One version Ricky Roxburgh (writer) contributed to had Varian cast as an adult in the story. But when I heard Jeremy I felt like I totally understood who Varian really was.
He was a well-intentioned disaster with unchecked emotions. That. Is me! Haha!! I see myself in his imperfections, his emotionality in spite of his creative and often intellectual thinking. He wants to ascend to these levels he may not be ready to ascend to…he feels this need to prove himself and seek validation. I don’t know, I guess I relate to that! And I’m just a sucker for good guys gone bad. The other half of this, of course, is that he’s very charming and cute and super reminds me of my best friend, Anna Lencioni.
Q: Which character do you most like seeing interacting with Varian?
A: It’s a little spoilery for me to reveal that……..but I think you guys are gonna know when it happens! Haha!
I can’t wait to post THOSE boards
That’s actually right out of the episode I think I liked boarding the most, haha.
Q: If there was one prop (furniture, object, the like) from the Tangled series that could be made real and you could keep, what would it be..?
A: I think it’d have to be those little alchemy orbs that Varian throws? They just suddenly clean the whole castle hallway somehow and like…could use me some of that. He also has the one that removes stains from tablecloths, so. I’m sloppy. That’d be a big help. Haha!
Also his staff is pretty cool 😉, I boarded/created that staff…David Lee (prop designer) did its final design…haha
Q: I have a question about a scene in season 1. When Varian got back the first part of the scroll he mentioned that it took him a while to translate it. Has he really been able to read it or has it been a bluff?
A: Varian can indeed translate what’s on the scroll. 😉
Q: Do you have any networking advice for those trying to get into the animation industry?
A: Post your work!! Make it easily accessible, tag it well, just show what you’ve got online! Upload boards, animatics, drawings, etc. Creating an online presence can really help put your name out there. Apply for internships, jobs. I know it’s hard to network because a lot of industry professionals don’t have time to answer specific questions or give portfolio reviews…so it’s sort of important to take some initiative on that and be self-motivated.
For me, I studied the portfolios of Disney feature story artists, CalArts students, etc. and tried to structure the presentation of my work based on that. Also, it helped me get a sense of what pieces of work would best showcase where I was trying to go and what I was trying to do. I’d ask yourself those questions as you develop a portfolio and artistic voice online! 🙂
My first feature job after a trainee program in New York at Blue Sky happened because Doug Sweetland (Pixar animator, feature director, awesome dude) found my work online and liked it. He just reached out based on that!
Shane Prigmore actually reached out to me for Tangled similarly.
Q: Besides Varian, do you have a favorite character that you’ve boarded?
A: I always love Eugene. He’s the second character I think I’m most like. His acting was really fun to play with and I felt like I could push his expressions a lot because he’s so funny. I loved boarding Lance too (I boarded a lot of Lance in S3!!) but MAN was he hard to draw, haha! His face shape is just really hard to draw at certain angles.
Q: With Varian cosplay that is going on, what Disney character would you like to see Varian dress up as next?
A: Jack Skellington! Halloween is afoot. Jack is another well-intentioned disaster. Guess I have a type!
Q: What’s Varian’s opinion on raccoons, are they his favourite animal?
A: I imagine it’s because Ruddiger is always finding interesting things in the trash and giving them to Varian to use in his experiments. Also, they’re fat and cute.
Q: There’s a bit of an argument going on over how many freckles Varian has. Can you confirm how many he has?
A: Ha!!! Yes…one second… 14!!
Q: How big do you think Corona is? Like Vatican City small or Arendelle big?
A: You know, with the wall and all, it actually feels a little on the smaller side to me? I’m sure there’s a little bit of discrepancy between the movie’s version of Corona and our version…but based on where we went within Corona on the show, I’d say it feels on the smaller side.
Q: Are there any non-spoiler Varian scenes or moments that didn’t make the cut that you can share?
A: MAN. Yes. There is one scene that changed after I rolled off the episode and I’m very sad about it. I’ll post it after the episode airs! There was also a line of Varian’s that I boarded to a specific read from Jeremy Jordan and that read was not chosen in editorial later so…I’ll post that one too, haha!
Q: What is your favourite song from the first two seasons so far?
A: All my favorite songs are in season threeeeee…hahahaha!! I think Let Me Make You Proud or the Buddy Song are my favorites. Buddy Song still gets stuck in my head now and then.
Q: What do you think Varian would order at a drive-thru? Specifically at chipotle 😂
A: Chipotle isn’t a drive thru!! Hahaha He’d get the kid’s quesadilla from chipotle. I think Varian is a fries/chips kind of person…something to snack on while he works! He probably also likes milkshakes.
Q: (Continuation from the question above) Chocolate or vanilla?
A: He’d revolutionize by combining them both. FOR SCIENCE!
Q: What is, in your opinion, the most challenging part of varian’s design to draw?
A: His goggles, hahaha. Or just his…hair in general.
Well it’s funny too because when you board these guys, you get used to doing a shorthand for them and then when you go to draw them FOR REAL you realize how complicated that actually is and how wrong your shorthand actually was? Hahahaha
Q: is Varian ticklish at all?
A: I feel like Varian, Eugene, and Lance are all equally ticklish. To the point of absurdity. Cass would fight it as long as she could…but when it finally got to her, she’d laugh uncontrollably. Rapunzel, she’s the TICKLER.
Q: What do you think Varian opinion and belief on magic is now that he’s seen it with his own eyes?
A: I imagine that he certainly believes in it now and no longer underestimates its powers…but I imagine he’s ultimately more comfortable staying in his own lane and working with worldly properties!
Q: If Varian would have been able to meet Demanitus…how would their conversation had looked like?
A: I feel like Varian would have had a TON of questions about his legendary device and whether or not he truly traveled dimensions.
Q: Did Varian have any other friends in old Corona before he met rapunzel?
A: Probably not many…he’s a bit of a hermit. I think Ruddiger is his best friend……. It’s sad but I also think that’s kind of why it hurt so bad when Rapunzel wasn’t able to help him. Also why he was SO excited to have Rapunzel, Cass, and Eugene come visit.
I think the village looked at Varian as a little unstable or worrisome. I’m sure everyone knew he was very nice…but they were likely very unnerved by his inventions.
Q: Do you think Varian ever tried to synthesise gold or the elixir of life like a real alchemist?
A: I’ve wondered that myself!! I think his alchemy has proven to be more about other people…helping others, making people proud. Maybe if someone he cared about was in need.
Q: If you were to meet Varian in real life, what would you say to him?
A: What elixir did you make to get THAT kind of volume? His hair’s so POOFY! Honestly, I’d probably just give him a hug.
Q: How much does Varian know or remember about his mom?
A: I’d say about as much as the photo of her on the wall.
Q: Is there spoiler about his hair streak? Or is it just by design?
A: It’s totally by design. I think it’s safe to assume it’s probably the result of some lab accident!
Q: In what ways is Jeremy Jordan like Varian?
A: I don’t know Jeremy Jordan personally, haha! But I think a lot of these inflections he adds to Varian sort of off the cuff probably come very naturally to him. I know he often wants to do his own pass at the musical arrangement Alan Menken writes…like he’ll want to do something a little different, in his own way, and it will change the song completely!! In an awesome way. That’s a little Varian-esque. In the “Let Me Make You Proud” reprise…Alan Menken had sung that “they are going to pay…they…will…pay” all in a low, downward tone. Jeremy wanted to scream it and make it powerful and angry and loud when he said “PAY” and you could just hear the spite in his voice for the “they will pay.” Genius!
Q: What was the most shocking moment/revelation of the series to you (minus anything season 3)?
A: It’s hard to say because I knew most of what was going to happen long, long ago. I think one of the things that made me go “oh dang!” was something Tom Canfield boarded. It’s that part in Destinies Collide where Lance slices the entire statue down the middle with a sword. What a BAMF!
Q: What were your thoughts on the early concept of Varian having an apple orchard and being a farm kid instead of a young alchemist?
A: He still kinda has those things! Quirin is a farmer as well as the village leader and there are apples on their little farm estate! 🙂 I think that makes Varian very unassuming as a mad little scientist. I’m sure that’s how (Ruddiger and Varian) met! Remember, he used his purple tacky goo stuff to catch raccoons so they wouldn’t eat the crops! And Ruddiger’s favorite snack is apples. 😉
Q: What is his official height and weight?
A: Smol.
Q: How did you guys come up with Varian’s name? And was there any other name suggestions for him before the name ‘Varian’ was chosen?
A: I’m not sure who came up with that name, actually! I’m sure it has something to do with the meaning of the word “variant” which means something that varies, changes in form.
Q: What’s his last name?
A: His last name!! I have NO idea and it bothers me!!! A Disney magazine referred to Varian, Ruddiger, and Quirin as “The Ruddiger Family” and I still haven’t stopped laughing about that.
Q: What sad Disney movie moments would make him cry?
A: Oof. Lion King.
Q: What musicals do think Varian would enjoy?
A: Little Shop of Horrors! I think he’d see himself in Seymour! Or Wicked…you know, that villain arc.
Q: How did Arianna and Fred meet?
A: I actually don’t know off the top of my head!
Q: Would Varian enjoy rollercoasters?
A: I think he’d enjoy how they’re MADE and then scream his head off while riding one, throw up his cotton candy and corndog, and go play carnival games instead. Then get mad that they’re rigged.
Q: So what comes next for you now that the series is almost over? Any big plans?
A: Well the series wrapped for production a while ago! I’ve been on another show for almost a year now! 🙂 I’m working on the new Disney+ show Monsters at Work as a director! It’s an awesome, awesome show…totally next-level…I’m shocked that I’m getting to be apart of something like this. It’s a direct sequel to the movie that serves as an office comedy (a la The Office, Parks and Rec) and has so many characters that fit immediately into the Monsters Inc world. Monsters Inc is my favorite Pixar movie…so I literally come to work and leave work on the same high! It’s an awesome, awesome show with a great crew! 🙂 It’s also just really exciting to be apart of the first original animated property for D+!
Q: How would you compare working as a director to working as a storyboard artist?
A: It’s hard work, just as hard, but in a different way! For me personally, I’m a little easily fatigued by drawing? I get a little creatively frustrated because my thoughts move quicker than my hand. Or because I don’t always feel like I can execute in a drawing what I’m thinking in the way that I want? Part of that is just being an artist…and it’s not ALL the time that I feel that way…but I think I have a certain stamina for drawing that I found challenging to increase.
Directing is just different! It has a lot more to do with managing a team, communication, coordinating, listening, speaking up, problem-solving, being very aware of story as it applies to ALL parts of a production. I don’t draw as often anymore. You have to consider a lot more…more people, more constraints, more difficulties, more opinions, more solutions…it’s just MORE. And you also still have to draw! 🙂 It’s very busy work, but it’s AMAZING and I love it. I feel like I’m contributing to animated storytelling a lot more in this role, actually. I love working with people, I love workshopping, and I love helping! I’m also just spoiled to be working with some great people right now. It’s a blast.
Q: Are any Tangled: The Series crew joining you on that show?
A: Yes!! Tom Caufield and Wendy Sullivan were on it for a minute, but they’ve both moved on to Dreamworks recently! James Suhr (board artist), Isabelle Gedigk (season 3 board artist), Naomi Hicks and Casey Coffey (revisionists), David Lee (props), Ricky Roxburgh (writer), and I are all working together again! It’s awesome.
Q: Does Varian, deep down, blame himself for the amber?
A: I believe he does.
Q: How do you deal with artist’s block?
A: I try to think about the intention behind what I’m doing. Why is the scene I’m working on very important to the story? If it feels unimportant or boring, how can I make it interesting? What can I do on my end to make it more inspiring or fun without going too far off the rails and still serving the scene’s purpose?
If it’s not work-related, I try and start with some fan art or something familiar for me to draw. I have a lot of scribbly Varians in the margins of a lot of my sketch documents. I use him as a warm-up a lot. It helps build my confidence to draw something familiar/ that I think I can draw pretty well.
Q: What’s the hardest scene you’ve ever had to board?
A: Oh God. ANYTHING with action. I’m not an action gal. Lots of stuff in S3. I was board partners with Wendy Sullivan and ended up getting a lot of action to board even though she’s WAY better at it than me!! It was an interesting challenge…but it was very, very challenging. Ben (Co-EP) was a great mentor to me in the scene I did for the mid season. He was very patient with me, despite my shortcomings as an action board artist, haha. I enjoy boarding for comedy much more.
Kait: Anyways, I should probably head off now! Thank you guys so much for all the questions!!!! You’re awesome! I hope you’re all super excited for S3! It’s a great one.

The next morning Betty came over to apologize to Archie. The two of them walked to school together and were good again. Veronica had decided to call a truce with Cheryl and was also befriending Josie. Jughead had continued to piece clues together about what really happened the night of Jason’s murder.
That day during Lunch, you and Archie decided that you would work on music before school starting the next day. You were both excited and nervous. You 100% would do anything to help Archie no questions asked. But it was undeniably nerve racking for you to share something like this with anyone.
After school, you went to Andrew’s construction and Mr. Andrews explained in better detail what he needed done. You spent the majority of the time just trying to organize everything. Occasionally you would answer the phone, it was all easy enough. Afterwards you had him drop you off at Pop’s where you ran into Jughead.
“Hey, whatcha up to?” you ask.
“Just trying to figure out what Jason was running from”
“I mean if you were a child of the Blossoms, wouldn’t you want to run away too?” you joked.
“Yeah, but why now? What happened to make him choose now to get away?”
“Maybe he wasn’t running away as much as he was running to something” you ponder.
“Maybe. Oh well, I’m done for tonight.” he said as he closed his laptop, “How was your day?”
“Pretty good. How are you and Betty doing?” you wink.
“What is that supposed to mean?”
“Oh, don’t think I haven’t noticed the  way you two look at each other. And how you too have started doing your own investigations.”
“We are just friends.” he answered.
“For now” you replied.
“In that case, what’s going on between you and Archie?” he asked.
“Nothing, I’m just helping him with his music”
“Sure. But just remember what happened between him and his last music tutor” Jug laughed.
“That is so not funny” you chime in smacking his arm.
“I’m just saying.”
“I think he likes Veronica anyways” you reply bringing the conversation back down.
“I wouldn’t be so sure.”
When you snuck back into the school (which is where you have been staying since the Drive-In was shut down), it was around 3 am. You went straight for the music room. As earlier stated, this was both exciting and nerve-racking. You loved music, but you had never performed in front of any of your friends before. So, you sat at the Piano and warmed up with some showtunes. Eventually, you pulled out your songbook, it had been a while since you sat down and just wrote music. You were running through a song that you had written, when you were interrupted.
“Wow, how did I not know that you were this good?” Archie asked.
You were so confused. What was Archie doing here in the middle of the night? But then you looked down at your phone. It was 7:15.
“I was just screwing around. Anyways, I’m going to grab us waters. I’ll be back in a minute.” you answer.
“Okay, I’ll get warmed up,” he smiled as he set his guitar down.
You quickly made your way to the closet where you were staying. You fixed your hair, changed shirts, grabbed some gum, and the two waters before heading back to the music room.
“Sorry that took so long, the vending machine didn’t want to take my money,” you said as you reentered the room, “so Archie, what exactly are you wanting to get out of these sessions?”
“I don’t exactly know. I’d like help taking my lyrics and turning them into actual songs. So I guess I just need feedback, and suggestions.”
“That works for me, let’s hear what you’ve been working on lately.” you smiled.
So then Archie began to play. You just listened, he had an amazing voice and was already so good on guitar. As he finished his first song you were in awe. It was so refreshing to hear someone sing about something that mattered.
“Well, what did you think?” he asked shyly as he set down the guitar.
“It was amazing Arch, it needs to be polished and there are a few lyrics that are off rhythm, but it is so good. You really have a talent for this”
“You really think so?” he asked
“Yes I do. Now do me a favor and sing it again but without the guitar” you say as you hope on the piano. You then proceeded to break down the entire song, and then you played/sang it back to Archie. This allowed him to hear first hand which parts sounded slightly awkward. You started writing down his lyrics and bouncing ideas off each other. Before you knew it, the ten minute warning bell for first period sounded.
“Wow, I can’t believe it’s already time for class. This was amazing Y/n, thank you so much” he said as he stashed his guitar away.
“It’s no problem Archie, I’m glad I can help”
And this was your life now. You spent your mornings with Archie working on his music. You went to school like a normal student. And then you walked to Andrews’ Construction. After organizing all of the paperwork you started working on a promotions campaign. You redesigned the business cards, created a free website and uploaded a portfolio of the various jobs they had completed. You answered the phones and helped Mr. Andrews create pitches that were customized to target the specific jobs. You also organized the work schedule and did anything else that Mr. Andrews needed help with. For him, you were nothing less than a godsend. You had already got them two bids and it had only been a week.
You were at lunch with your friends when Cheryl approached you. “Here. My mother has decided that you are all invited to JayJay’s memorial. Even you losers.” she said towards you and Jughead.
“I get that she is mourning her brother, but does she have to be such a bitch” Veronica said under her breath.
“Agreed” Betty chimed in.
“Well, I don’t know about you guys, but I’m going to have to buy something to wear to Thornhill.” you directed to the two of them, “you guys want to go shopping tomorrow?”
“I can’t. My mother is still mad about the whole Archie thing” Betty answered.
“Veronica?”
“You know I’m always down for retail therapy.” she smiled.
So the next day you both went to the mall before you went to work. This was the first time that the two of you were hanging out alone.
“I bet that you saw malls in New York that make this mall look like a dollar store,” you commented.
“That is very true” she laughed.
“So I’m guessing that it is safe to say that you miss it?” you ask as you look through the dresses.
“Parts of it. I miss being a family and I’m not gonna lie the luxury of it all was grand. But I don’t know the people here, while simple, are real. It wasn’t like that in New York” she reminisced.
“What do you think of this one?” you asked holding up a black t-shirt dress.
“It’s okay, but why don’t you try this one on,” she replied, holding up a simple but beautiful black dress. You grabbed it and held it up in front of you. It was perfect. But then you ventured to the price tag.
“It’s great Veronica, but I can’t afford it.” you reply putting it back on the rack.
“Nonsense, it’s my treat. I insist.” she said, “Now go try it on”
As you had learned, you never argue with a Lodge. There is no point, you won’t win. “Are you sure?” you ask.
“Yes, it’s the least I can do after you have extended your friendship to me” she chimed, all but pushing you in the fitting room.
You tried on the dress and were in love. “What do you think?” you asked as you showed Veronica.
“You look amazing. I have done it once again” she laughed.
Next, she forced you to find a pair of  heels. Her argument was that it would be a crime to wear such a nice dress with average shoes. On the way up to the cash register Veronica had grabbed some other small things. She placed all of it on the counter and pulled out a card.
“Seriously Veronica, you didn’t have to do that” you said as you got into the car.
“It’s fine Y/n, just consider it an early Birthday present.”
“My birthday isn’t until next month” you laugh, “Seriously though, I owe you one. If there is ever anything you need let me know.”
“Okay, and now moving on. What is between you and Archie?” she asked.
“Nothing, we are just good friends who are working on music together.” you answer.
“Sure. The same way that Betty and Jughead are just friends.”
“I’m serious Veronica, and even if I did have feelings for him, I’m pretty sure he likes someone else.” you add.
“Really? Who?” she asked intrigued.
“I’ll give you a hint. She is new in town.”
“No way. There is no way Archie Andrews has a thing for me.” she said in disbelief.
“He hasn’t explicitly told me so, but still it’s kinda obvious.” you say as the car slows to a stop.
“Do you want me to drop off your bags somewhere?” she asked realizing that she still had no idea where you lived.
“No, I’ll hold on to them. Thanks again Ronnie.”
That night you went to the school and showered. You tried on your dress again, this time with the shoes. You looked through the other bag, Veronica had also bought you a necklace and earrings along with simple make-up palettes and perfume. She was good, you hadn’t even seen her grab half of this stuff and you were right next to her.
The next day you accompanied Mr. Andrews and Archie to the Memorial Service. Archie had decided to give Mrs. Blossom Jason’s old jersey. She was almost in tears over it. Everyone sat down as it was ready to begin. Before Penelope could begin speaking, Cheryl burst in wearing the white outfit she had worn the last time she was Jason. She gave a speech about how she missed him and failed him and then was dragged off by her mother.
And from there things were only going to get worse.

Unpredictable (Roman Reigns x OFC)
(A/N) I’m sorry that it took me so long to upload guys. I was really busy and my mind was just not working along. But I’m happy to say that the first chapter is up. Feedback is more than welcome, so let me know what y’all think🙈.
Chapter 1
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Alani
‘’Can you pass me that box over there?’’ I asked my mom as I was standing in my new room.
‘’Which one? They all look the same,’’ she mocked. ‘’When you asked me to come over and told me that there were only a few boxes left, you didn’t say there were actually still thousand left to unpack.’’
‘’Thanks for helping mom,’’ I smiled sweetly and gave her a hug. She chuckled and shook her head, hugging me back. I moved in my own house a week ago but there were still some boxes left to unpack since I was being my lazy self. ‘’Do you think dad is finished with the backyard?’’
‘’Honey, he’s probably already finished for an hour, but he’s just admiring his work, you know how he is.’’
‘’Are all architects like that?’’ I laughed as I walked downstairs. My dad has his own company for over ten years and became extremely successful, so when I told him that I was moving out of my shitty apartment, he insisted on designing my house. I was fortunate to have something this big being done for me and my dad luckily didn’t ask me for a fortune. My dad, on the other hand, paid a fortune to build and design the whole place. ‘Anything for my beloved daughter’, he said. ‘’I’ll make sure it looks like a mansion.’ Little did I know that when he mentioned that it’ll look like a mansion, he, in fact, build a mansion. It wasn’t too big but it wasn’t too small either, he knows exactly what I love and we, of course, talked about what I wanted and wished for.
I saw my dad standing in the living room while writing some things down. ‘’If you’re okay with it, I’d like to add this to my portfolio, showing all my clients how amazing I am,’’ he said as he turned around. I rolled my eyes and chuckled. ‘’What do you think of it?’’
‘’I couldn’t wish for anything more, thank you, dad.’’ I smiled and gave him a hug. ‘’I’m going to do the groceries right now because I need some good ass meal to eat in my brand new house,’’ I excitedly said. ‘’And thank you both for letting me stay at your house for the weeks this all was being built.’’
‘’It was no problem at all honey,’’ my mom spoke as she kissed my dad’s cheek. ‘’We’re happy that you’re happy.’’ She smiled. ‘’Don’t we have to babysit Mason?’’
‘’Your mom is right, we gotta go. Your sister is dropping off Talia again.’’ He slightly groaned.
‘’When are you guys gonna tell Avery to stop doing that?’’ I asked them as I opened the front door for them.
‘’We still have to figure out how to do that without sounding rude.’’ My mom gave me a hug and walked towards their black BMW. I chuckled and hugged my dad.
‘’Thanks, dad, for everything.’’ I gratefully said.
‘’Anytime Lani,’’ he smiled and walked to the drivers seat to start the car and they drove off. As I closed the door, I looked around, still in awe because of how big and beautiful everything was. I grabbed my bag and decided to go to the store before I was glued to the couch once again.
 ——————–
I was happy that I didn’t have to walk that far to get to the nearest grocery store, about twenty minutes. However, when I was tired, it would seem forever to get there so I’m glad I have my driver’s license. I probably failed three times but I insisted on getting it because that way I didn’t have to rely on others. My brother, on the other hand, relies on me or my parents when it comes to transport. Even though he’s 26 and two years younger than me, he was more occupied on working his way into my dad his company. Just because Carter is his only son, doesn’t mean he has family privileges.
I always told myself ‘tomorrow’ when it came to making the decision to start eating healthy. But I got a brand new house, a fresh start, so why not start today?  My eyes wandered, looking at all the delicious, but at the same time unhealthy food. It wasn’t my goal to be walking towards the heavenly chocolate, but I eventually did since it was calling my name. I grabbed a bar of milk chocolate and looked at it, a whole war was started in my head whether I should take it or not.
‘’Not the most healthiest choice,’’ a deep voice said from behind me. I frowned and turned around, curious who the person was who approached me. My eyes met the dark brown ones of a tall, muscular, handsome man, dressed in what I would call ‘Sunday clothing’. A black t-shirt hugged his broad shoulders and slim waist, wearing black sweats as well. Dang, he looked good.
I chuckled and looked at the chocolate bar in my hand, ‘’Not the most healthiest choice no, I agree with you on that one, but oh so good.’’
‘’You got me there,’’ the man laughed. ‘’Chocolate is everyone’s sin, even mine.’’
‘’Wouldn’t say so,’’ I pointed at his muscular chest.
‘’Oh trust me, whenever I had a stressful day or I trained too much, the first thing I eat is chocolate.’’ He smiled as he shook his head. This man is truly gorgeous. ‘’Everything else looks pretty healthy,’ he nodded towards my shopping cart, filled with all kinds of fruits and vegetables.
‘’Gotta balance it right,’’ I shrugged and decided to take the chocolate bar as I added it to my healthy food. ‘’I’m Alani, by the way, I’m new in the neighborhood,’’ I reached for his hand and he gladly shook it.
‘’I figured,’’ he smiled, ‘’your house was being built right?’’
‘’Yeah, my dad recommended this area, saying it was the perfect spot to live; beautiful surroundings, everything is within walking distance, really friendly people,’’
‘’He couldn’t be more right. Especially the really friendly people part, you just met the friendliest of them all,’’ he winked, making me laugh. I shook my head and the two of us started to walk around in the supermarket while telling me small bits about the people who were present and also lived in the neighborhood. ‘’That over there is Mrs. Yell,’’ he pointed at the small, grey haired woman standing in the shelf of the cat and dog food. I frowned in confusion, not knowing what he was talking about. ‘’Everyone calls her Mrs. Yell because she literally yells every single day. If it’s not because her husband did something wrong, again, it’s because of the smallest bread crumb on her recently cleaned floor. She’ll find a reason to yell, so cherish the moments whenever she’s quiet cause they ain’t long.’’
‘’Sounds like the perfect company,’’ I joked. He laughed and we walked into another shelf. ‘’So mystery man, you haven’t told me your name yet.’’
‘’How rude am I,’’ he gasps as his hand covered his chest. ‘’I’m Joe, but my real name is actually Leati…but I also go by the name of Roman. So I have three names, you choose whatever you like to call me.’’ He leaned in and whispered, ‘’I prefer Joe tho.’’
‘’Impressive, Joe.’’ I nodded as I grabbed a bottle of Cola. ‘’Does each name have a different persona?
‘’You gotta find that out on your own, Alani,’’ he winked as we walked to the cash register. The gentleman he was, helped me to put everything in bags and even held them as we walked back to my place. The walk was filled with Joe talking about all the crazy stuff he experienced in this neighborhood and how he loved living here. I smiled at all the silly faces he made as he was telling me about that one time he visited his cousin and tried to make his one-year-old child laugh. The way he was talking was so pure and real, I already liked him.
‘’You can hand me my groceries now,’’ I chuckled as I stood in front of my house.
‘’Jheeze, your place looks like a millionaires place, it’s amazing,’’ he said stunned. ‘’Not even my place looks like this and I’m pretty rich,’’
‘’Master of bragging,’’ I laughed. Joe grinned as he handed me the grocery bags. ‘’So I think I’ll you around then.’’
‘’Definitely,’’ he smiled, ‘’What if I stop by tomorrow? You know, just for a cup of coffee and you can make me jealous by showing me around in your palace.’’
‘’Sounds good to me. What about 9 am?’’
‘’9 am it is,’’ he smiled warmly as he gave me a hug. ‘’If you need anything, don’t hesitate to knock on my door, I’m at the end of the street.’’
‘’Thanks, I’ll keep it in mind.’’ I thankfully said. I waved at him as he walked off to his own house. I thanked my dad in my head as I opened the front door for convincing me to move here. Still not over the fact I probably met the most handsome man of the neighborhood, I walked into the kitchen with the plastic bags and put them on the counter.
‘’Since when did I became invisible to you?’’ A female voice said. My head shot back up as I looked at my phone, finding none other than my best friend standing in front of me. ‘’Wassup girl?’’ She smiled.
‘’Ava what are you doing here?’’ I asked confused but extremely excited. I walked from behind the big marble kitchen counter over to her, giving her a hug.
Ava has been my friend since the day I started walking. Our parents are really close friends who met in college back in the days. She was like a sister to me and we were together 24/7 until the day she got accepted to the University of Southern California. I was absolutely thrilled for her, but not about the fact that we weren’t going to see each other that often anymore. We both made the promise to call each other every week, face time as much as we can and meet up monthly. But since we both did completely different things, it was hard to hold on to that promise. She wanted to get her degree in art and design, that totally fitted her since she has always been busy with painting and drawing.
Me at the other hand wanted to deepen myself in dance and music more. So when I was accepted to a private school that was specifically for those two things, I barely had time for anyone since it was really intensive. I enjoyed every moment of it since I was doing something I loved but hated it because it took so much of my time and energy. I still dance, sing and perform occasionally, it’s just that I decided to diminish everything a bit.
‘’Your parents told me you moved and gave me your address. But girl, why didn’t you tell me?’’ She smiled as she looked at me. ‘’Dang you look fine as hell, better than I remember.’’
‘’Oh please I look terrible,’’ I covered my face in my hands. I had no idea what she was talking about since I was wearing just a plain grey dress, my hair totally mess and bags under my eyes because of my lack of sleep. ‘’But thanks, A. And I’m sorry, I was so busy with everything; the house, helping my dad, bookings. I barely had time to sleep.’’
‘’That I see,’’ she joked as she sat down on the kitchen chair. ‘’I’m just messing with you, babe. So how is my best friend doing? How’s living here?’’
‘’She’s doing great; new house, new neighborhood, new people, I really enjoy it here.’’
‘’Good to hear,’’ she smiled and looked inside of the bags with food, ‘’so what will we be eating?’’
 ——————–
‘’Christ Lani, this tastes so damn good,“ Ava said with a mouth full. “Them Italian genes from your mom seemed to have kicked in for real.’’
‘’I ain’t a chef like my mom,’’ I laughed, ‘’it’s called having a meat-free dish.’’ I stopped eating meat for over two years and I feel amazing; I have more energy, I don’t get sick so often and I simply feel fresher. My mom struggled and forgot about the decision I made for like a month and unwarily added meat to her food. Eventually, she started to get used to it and only added meat in 50% of her dishes.
‘’I’ll keep it at Italian genes,’’ she chuckled as she zapped through the channels. ‘’This TV looks like a cinema. I’m gonna ask your dad to build a house for me as well.’’
‘’Good luck with that,’’ Knowing my dad isn’t the easiest person to persuade. ‘’Wait, wait, hold on. Go back,’’ I suddenly said as I saw a familiar face passing by. Ava frowned and did what I asked her, even more, confused by my reaction. I chuckled and shook my head. ‘’Oh my god,’’
 ‘’What?’’
‘’That’s Joe,’ my jaw dropped as I saw him on TV. ‘’I met him this afternoon in the supermarket, he lives at the end of the street,’’
‘’No he doesn’t,’’ she said, not believing me. As she was about to say something else, she saw I wasn’t joking. ‘’Girl…You’re not telling me that you met Roman fucking Reigns in the supermarket and that he lives in your street.’’
‘’It’s true,’’ I simply said as I watched him; his hair was loose and wet, unlike today. He looked so different from the person I’ve met and I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t find him attractive.
‘’Lani you’re a lucky ass woman,’’ she grinned as she continued eating. Little did I know

HOW TO BECOME A MUSIC PHOTOGRAPHER
Tumblr media
I get this question a lot, More than any other question.
The short answer, as Nike said: “Just do it.”  I said it better: Just (fucking) do it!!
And now for the longer answer…
THE BEST CAMERA IS THE ONE YOU HAVE
To shoot shows, you will need a camera (anything other than an iPhone!) and maybe few lenses. I know that not everyone can afford a great camera right away. It’s okay to start with what you’ve got. The best camera is the one you have. Anything from a point-and-shoot to a cheap DSLR. And I’m a big believer in used cameras. If that’s all you can afford, go for it.
I started on a Nikon D60 and it’s one of that company’s cheapest DSLRs. I got it for free after collecting points from my credit card company. It served me very well and I shot a great portfolio with it in less than a year.
Another question I get a lot is: Canon or Nikon? Those are the two big players in the world of professional photography, and I honestly think it’s a matter of personal taste. Usually the brand  you start with is what you’re gonna keep using, and I think you should know your playground before you go out there and play.
A good way to figure out what equipment you might like best is to rent. Rent different cameras— Canon, Nikon, whatever. And then rent different lenses and explore. Find what works for you. Cameras and lenses are fairly cheap to rent so it’s a good way to try out equipment without making a huge financial commitment.
From my own personal experience, I will say that Nikon has a faster focus motor, while Canon has more a rich and vivid color palette. All brands have their pros and cons, and a big part of photography is a developing your own style. The best way to do that is try out different options and see what you like. No one knows better than you.
I also think it’s true that using a cheap camera is like driving a stick shift. It’s harder, but it will make you a better photographer. If you can get nice clear images on a cheap camera, can you imagine what you will be able to get with a professional one?
LEARN HOW TO USE THE DAMN THING
Tumblr media
When I just started I knew nothing about how to use a camera. Photography is both an art and a science, and knowing what you’re doing is a big plus. You don’t want the camera to control you, you want to control the camera. Since music photography is full of the unexpected—from the venue to the lighting to the movement—you really want to be ready for what might happen. Knowing your equipment will help you be ready.
If you can afford to take photography classes, go ahead—but it’s not a must. The Internet is the beginning photographer’s best friend, and there is a YouTube tutorial on almost any photography topic you can imagine. Read about photography, watch videos, ask questions, and most important—practice, practice, practice. The best knowledge comes with experience. Just grab your camera and shoot your little heart out.
I always recommend avoiding the automatic settings on a camera. There is no reason to use automatic settings if you are planning to become a professional photographer (and yes, aperture and shutter priority ARE automatic settings). If you won’t learn how to use manual settings, you will always stay in the same place with your photography. Don’t be afraid of making mistakes, that is how you learn. It took many black frames for me to know what I was doing, but eventually I got the hang of it and I can’t even describe the satisfaction I felt when I realized I finally knew how to use the damn thing!
If you want full control of your images, don’t be afraid to switch your dial to M. Now let’s see—do you have it in you???
OK, OK I GOT THE HANG OF IT…NOW HOW DO I GET INTO THAT PHOTO PIT?
Tumblr media
Dream big, but start small. A good friend (a powerful person in the music industry) told me when I just started, “I’m not gonna help you, Dana. You need to start at the bottom and work your own way up.” As much as I hated this answer and rolled my eyes thinking, “Why can’t this bastard help me, dammit?” I now think it’s one of the best pieces of advice I have ever gotten in my life. I’m not a patient person, but now that I have actually accomplished a thing or two with my work, I understand where he was coming from. This advice didn’t make me work hard—it made me work harder. If he had helped me back then I would probably not appreciate where I am now half as much I do.
So you have a decent camera, you’ve learned a thing or two about how to take pictures, so now how the hell do you get that precious photo pass? Well, you probably won’t…not when you’re just starting out. Space in the photo pit is very limited, so why would a band/PR company/magazine editor wanna issue a photo pass to you when you have nothing to show yet? Yes, that leads me to the next thing…..
DEVELOP YOUR STYLE
Tumblr media
After taking photos for a while, you will develop your own style. Don’t try to shoot like your favorite photographer. Unless this person is dead they are probably still shooting, so why would you want to copy their style?
Photo editing is a huge part of a photographer’s style. I spend hours and hours editing my images. I love the contrast between shooting out in the crazy field and then sitting in my studio, relaxing and listening to music  while editing my photos.
When using editing software, I don’t recommend using presets and please don’t go crazy with effects. Create your own look and style. Experiment and play with contrast, colors, and brushes. And just like with cameras and lenses, find what editing software works best for you.
I use Lightroom, as it’s easy to be organized (which is not a great quality of mine; I’m pretty messy). I also use Photoshop. These two programs work well together. Many of my fellow photographers use Adobe Bridge and Aperture. Don’t limit yourself. Watch online tutorials, read reviews, and ask yourself what is it that you’re looking for and need. Most editing software packages offer a free 14-day trial, so you can download and try before you buy.
BUILD A FANTASTIC PORTFOLIO
Tumblr media
The best way to get yourself out there is to have a memorable and outstanding portfolio. Start shooting whatever/whenever you can. Your uncle’s band, that local band who really needs new photos for their Facebook page, a festive parade (it’s not music, but parades are colorful and full of unexpected movement). These are all great places to start building a photography portfolio.
As for bands and artists, buy tickets for the shows you wanna shoot. There are many venues that are not restricted about cameras, and the venues that do restrict them usually have a bag check. So even if you bring your camera and the venue won’t let you shoot, just check your camera and enjoy the show. You will learn which venues you can shoot in as you go.
Go to as many shows as you can. Get there early with all those fanatic fans, stand in line for hours, and get to the first row. I sometimes get better photos standing with the crowd than from the actual photo pit.
Remember, a camera is not a gun. No one will call the cops on you. If they catch you, they will ask you to stop shooting and put the camera away. In this case, be respectful (or go to the back of the room and continue shooting from there). I have been kicked out of several venues for shooting when I wasn’t supposed to. Hey, you gotta work hard and do crazy things to get your photos, so if you don’t have the balls for it find yourself something else to do!
The more you shoot, the better you get, the more you have for your portfolio. One great shot from each show is all you need when you’re starting, but you’re gonna feel amazing once you can choose from the many great shots you’ve taken.
When you have at least ten different photos of ten different artists that you are completely satisfied with, you have the beginnings of a portfolio. Later on, when you have more variety, your portfolio should be a combination of big names and great moments you’ve captured. You want to show energy, composition skill, and anything else that will make you stand out from other photographers. Be creative and try show as much variety as possible. Most likely when someone looks at your portfolio, they will look only at the first few shots, so these matter the most. Try to avoid using the same artist within the first twenty photos.
There are many free portfolio sites such as Zenfolio, Portfoliobox, and others. Choose a template and start uploading your work. Don’t be lazy, what are you waiting for?
Tumblr media
THE MOMENT YOU’VE BEEN WAITING FOR
Now that you have decided you are serious and have the talent, you can start asking for “real” photo passes and shoot from the golden photo pit…that magical place all music photographers strive to get to. E-mail the bands and PR companies directly. Introduce yourself and your work and ask kindly to shoot the bands you like. If they don’t respond, don’t be afraid to follow up, but don’t nag. Annoying people are not welcome anywhere.
Usually press credentials are given to photographers shooting for specific outlets, but you never know, and how will you know if you don’t try?
When I first started, I heard Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth was playing a small venue in Brooklyn. I knew that Sonic Youth was playing Terminal 5, a bigger venue in the city, a few weeks later. I went down to the Brooklyn show and when I spotted Moore hanging out in the crowd I went up to him and with no shame introduced myself and said: “Thurston, I’m a huge fan of your band—is there any chance I can photograph your show at Terminal 5?” He said right away, “Of course, contact my manager and I’ll take care of it.” So that’s how one of the very first bands I shot was Sonic Youth. Not only that, but Thurston was kind enough to get me an “All Song” pass, so I shot the whole set AND I got to shoot the opener Dinosaur Jr. Double success! Sometimes you can’t leave things to chance. I say go ahead—get what you want.
GO GET ‘EM TIGER
Now that you’re photographing on a regular basis, it’s time to shop for a publication.
It took me about a year to create a decent portfolio. I used photos taken on my D60 and my point-and-shoot. Don’t rush it; you need to be ready before you approach a publication. Everything has its own pace and you will know and feel when you’re ready to work for someone other than yourself.
Now that you have work to show, it’s time to get professional and start sending your stuff out there. Get “real” access. E-mail the bands, PR companies, venues, and publications. Your ultimate goal as a music photographer is to regularly shoot on assignment for blogs and magazines. Do your research first—figure out which blogs/magazines you like best. Most likely they all have people who are already fighting for those photo passes, but if you have something new and fresh to offer (not to mention loads of talent), they might consider using your fabulous skills.
DON’T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER
Tumblr media
The competition is enormous. In the world of music photography, you constantly have to fight for your spot and prove yourself over and over again. Many of your e-mails will be ignored. Don’t take it personally, just keep trying.
For instance, I knew I wanted to shoot for BrooklynVegan.com. I was a reader and a big fan of this blog way before I even started shooting shows. I e-mailed the editor many times and was completely ignored until I had a set of photos I thought he might want to publish. I used my photos as an undeniable winning card and found my way into the blog. BrooklynVegan is still my number one publication for my photos. I love everything about that blog, and I’m very proud to be a regular contributor.
So to sum up: be respectful, but don’t take no for an answer. Let your talent speak for itself. Setting goals is always helpful. Knowing exactly what you want is an important first step. Now that you know the steps, go get ’em tiger!
NOW THAT YOU ARE AN OFFICIAL MUSIC PHOTOGRAPHER
A few last tips:
* Get a good health insurance! The pit and music venue can be a dangerous jungle.
* Be nice and respectful to your fellow photographers. Be aware if someone is behind you if you lift your camera. Look to both sides before you reposition yourself as you don’t want to shove your lens in someone else’s frame
* Be kind to the fans! I have made quite a few friends and met wonderful people talking to those awesome people in the front rows. Don’t forget—they waited a long time in line and spent good money to see their favorite artists. Introduce yourself, tell them about your website and what you do. They are the ones who are the most interested in your photos. And you never know who you will meet!
* Come early and shoot the opening bands. They need your coverage and it’s a great way to get introduced to new music. And it’s more than likely you’ll soon be shooting them as the headliners.
* Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. The photo pit is not a catwalk. You don’t want your hair in your face or sore feet after standing and waiting for the show (which can be hours if you’re shooting Lauryn Hill!)
* Have your business cards handy; you never know who will be standing next to you at a show.
* Don’t rant about the lighting. It is what it is. The show is not for you, it’s for the fans and the music is the most important thing. Some bands prefer red lights or playing in the dark. You can’t change it. Go with it. It is what it is.
* WORK OUT on a regular basis. Being a music photographer requires a lot of running around and carrying heavy equipment. Working out sure gets you in shape and keeps you going, especially at festivals where you will be running from stage to stage. I used to hate working out but once I started I can never go back! I work with a trainer and also do Soulcycle, which is a fun way of combining two of my favorite things: biking and great music. Now that I work out regularly, I lost weight and festivals are all of a sudden much easier. It’s healthy and you don’t take up as much space in the photo pit. How can you argue with that?
And the last and most important tip: LOVE WHAT YOU DO!
There is not much money in music photography, so if you don’t like music, why on earth are you doing this? Enjoy the music, enjoy the show! At the end of the day, music is the best thing about music photography.

OHHH WOW!!!! DAVINCIJ15 SELLING HIS HOUSE FOR BITCOIN NOW!!!! [Because of THIS Price Target…]
VIDEO TRANSCRIPT
The pattern I’m going to show you is gonna break 10K. You’re not going to believe the price that’s going to hit next. So, as you know, I agreed to sell my house with my wife because it was her idea, really? And buy bitcoins. And yes, today she’s having ministers come over and take photos. And so this is real to me now. And I’m like, oh, gosh, I’m getting nervous here. But, yeah, it’s the right thing to do today for the Bitcoin price with Da Vinci, Jeff. Fifteen guys, we broke out. And the question everyone is asking right now, are we finally going to hit the ten thousand five hundred dollar level and break it? What’s the upside? Because according to Da Vinci, Jeff, fifteen is the second cup and handle pattern is forming right now for Bitcoin. We saw one already last year. And the second one right now is, according to DaVinci, Jeff fifteen, very likely to be successful. And the price target is, believe it or not. All the way up here at sixteen thousand U.S. dollars. We will talk about all of that. What specific trading setups, our game plan or what price targets in the immediate short term. And also in the second part of the video, the most exciting thing at all. DaVinci Jay Fifteen. Planning to sell his a big, big mansion right now and planning to buy Bitcoin with that. We will be talking about all of that. So right now, without any further ado, I really want to come to the most important question of today, that vintage A15. How are you doing today, my man? Well, I’m doing great. I mean, I. Yeah, that’s good. This tweet went super-viral. I never expected it. I was just like, you know, just a quick little thing, you know, tweet. Oh, yeah. You know what? So then how nervous now. Thank you, David. I’m also doing very well, but I’m very curious to go straight into that episode because especially after you make the last trade perfectly with nine-point five K, I want to know what you have to say about that. Hopefully up and coming breakout out of this cup and tend to cup house. Not the prettiest cup and handle, but it is a cup and handles. Now we have to break obviously this level here to say, OK, we’re gonna break out because this could easily just turn into a double-tap to the head and down we go. So let’s hope that that’s the case. But that’s where I know, I really don’t like breakout trades because you know when you breakout we did the breakout trade right here in my telegram group. And I was like, yeah, I know I’m not feeling this breakout trade at this point. And what happened? We came up to sixty-one point eight. We touched it at ten thousand dollars and poof, we just got slaughtered. The good thing in the telegram group, I told everybody to set their stop-loss, to break even. And yeah, we were out of that trade with no losses in my Pandora Well Telegram group, so that was a good thing. But then we, of course, we finally saw another signal here and that took us to give us a nice trade to clear us out at like the ninety-five hundred levels. I don’t think I’d remove that trade. So it’s not here anymore. So anyway, there’s a new trade that we’re looking at right now. I’m considering it. It’s a breakout trade, so I don’t like it that much. But this is a trade worked during. It is. We do have like a two to one risk-reward ratio here that you can take, but with a high percentage of of what’s it called a risk here. So you’re talking like, wow, Jesus, depending on where you break this out. And let’s just say if we broke out at the last stop, it probably wouldn’t be the best point, which is one hundred and ten, not ten thousand, ten thousand, one hundred and eighteen dollars. And then we start at that point do a two to one to this point, just because only because we want to be in a safety zone so we can like. OK, well I’m going to let the winner run and take half the profits here at the fourteen thousand three hundred and let the rest run. But we could pretty much target the sixteen thousand five hundred level, which interestingly enough, is I do believe that’s a sixty-one point eight. There it is. Yeah. Look at that. That’s a sixteen thousand dollar mark is seventy-eight points six is what I think. We probably going to take this thing right up to. That’s a seventy-eight point sixty-six. So it’s sort of seventy-eight point six-level, which is probably where we’re gonna go to before we actually come back down a little bit. And I would be careful, right. If you do take this breakout trade, you want to take profits because I. I really think that what we do, this breakout bitcoin, will test your resolve and come back to this level to see who you really are going to hold. Hold your trade and test you before it goes higher. So be careful about this one. I’m going to wait for a better position myself. I’m not going to take this. But if you weren’t going to take this, you’ve got to consider. Please do this. Take this. Like, let’s just say it’s 20 percent. Right. So what you have to do is do a little bit of math. Right. Put in the 20 percent here and now this. This sheet spreadsheet is in our my Penrhos well-telegrammed group. And let’s just say you only wanted to lose 500 dollars. This is how much you’re going to bet. So let’s just say you have a portfolio of ten thousand dollars to trade in my bid. You’re going to bet twenty-five hundred dollars to lose 20 percent, which is only five percent of your total portfolio. And by eBay. And that’s how you’re supposed to trade this. Most people don’t understand that. And if you don’t understand that, that’s how you lose and that’s how you get wrecked. Real, we’re saying at the end of every video, don’t get wrecked. So thank you so much for giving this small advice on a proper risk strategy for trading. Just to put that together, DAVINCI, you are right. Predicting that this next second cup and time the plateau pattern is at least very likely to break out to the upside. And your target, the measured move target is actually sixteen thousand U.S. dollars. With that keeping in mind, I mean, we also, like many people at least saw this tweet on Twitter where you announced that you are selling your house and you are taking all of this, all of the money you are getting from your house and putting it into Bitcoin. So is it because you are mid and long term expectations for Bitcoin that good? Can you elaborate on your plans and also. Yeah. Yeah. Hold the future. The short and mid-term future for Bitcoin looks like. Right. And right now for you. Yeah. I mean, I’ve gotten a lot of flack from this and people are saying how this doesn’t do that. Why you’re doing this? Why are you? You’re a bitcoin oji. Did you lose all of your money on Bound or Big Macs? And, you know, obviously, those are not the case. Right. And the reason why I’m selling it was Bulbul, mostly because we were discussing I was discussing with my wife saying, hey, you know, that when you have wealth cycles, right, you things going cycle, prices go from overvalued to undervalued, overvalued to undervalued. And if you purchase things when they’re undervalued. Right. And then sell them when they’re overvalued, you can build a long term wealth. And I’m not the only one who’s talked about this. Also, Mike Maloney has talked about this in one of his videos. And so she agreed with that and said, OK, listen, DaVinci, let’s just sell the house and rent something for a while and put it in the bitcoin. And then it went once it tops out, we could sell it and, you know, get something, get it like a vineyard somewhere in the south. And so that just said, yeah, I guess that does make sense, right? We get something bigger, something better, and something that we will enjoy, which was which is a vineyard. So I agreed to that. And I’m oh, I’ll be honest, I’m a little nervous because I do like my house and I am happy here. But, you know, it does make sense, right? Because I do believe in the wealth cycle of Bitcoin and we’re going into a supercycle, a very good supercycle because we have one to force it to. Actually, two forces simultaneously reacting on Bitcoin. One is the hyperinflationary Poshard created by the central banks all over the world, not just the Federal Reserve, but mostly the Federal Reserve. And on top of that, we also have the quantitative tightening of bitcoin happening. So, yes, it’s like a match made in heaven for guaranteed higher prices. Yes, almost certainly guarantees to higher prices. I do agree with you and I’m in with my whole life as well. It’s great to see that you have such an amazing wife actually was also going the risky approach. It’s very, very nice, DaVinci. Nice to see that. And I think everyone watching right now just wishes you all the best fall for this. Let’s go to gamble. Let’s call it whatever. Let’s call it whatever. I think it’s it’s a nice thing to do if we are looking at the last. I don’t know. Twelve, thirteen years. Everything has been propped up by this. Some crazy money printing by the Federal Reserve. And yeah, I can see you being very successful with that and with that plan. Everyone watching right now goes to the. Section one below and make some noise and let us know what you think about that plant. What do you think about that strategy? I think it would be very nice for DaVinci and also me to go into the comment section and see ya. Put your thought, your guys his thoughts here on. Yeah. His plans are selling his house and buying Bitcoin Yaffa for what he’s getting there. And yeah, make sure you smash up the like button. I also wanted to tell you guys, if you do want to support us, there are many links and Dippin Comment, for example. DaVinci Jeff Fifteens YouTube link. If you click on that, he is uploading almost daily videos there on his channel. It’s amazing content over there. So make sure you click that. Also, you will find some bonus links for Bible Phoenix and so on. Make sure we take advantage of that. If you are an experienced trader as well. And I also wanted to come to one question of interest. Do you have any updates to share about Pandavas wallet? Yes. Well, we actually fixed up a bot so that when you purchase your Pandora as well as subscription, I’ll automatically add you to the two hours telegrammed group. And so you’ll automatically add there and you’ll be able to access all the benefits that you have basically available to see what my trades are or what I’ve traded in the coin space, what I’m buying when I’m buying. And also what I’m trading on the Bitcoin space as well. And cerium. I’m doing a little bit of light trading on it there. So you if you’re interested in all that and what I’m going to take an entry on, then on the next Bitcoin run, Jeb, purchase your Pandor subscription. You can buy as low as a one-month subscription to check it out before you actually purchase a golden year’s decryption or three months of fiction. And yeah, you’ll see that you’re going to get a lot of great value from that. So I’m looking forward to seeing you in the chat group. Yes. Everyone check it out right now. Also in Dippin Comment down below pendulous wallet dot com. Take advantage of that as well. Thank you so much, DaVinci and. Yeah. Man, that was a jam-packed episode. I can’t wait for this. Hopefully, this breakout out of the cup and time to finally coming into fruition. Everyone is here waiting for like two years. Already we have been in that severe downtrend. So let’s hope for this one to finally break out. You know, after the half. Thank you so much for telling that. For dropping your knowledge bombs on us. Thank you, everyone, for coming back to the channel and smashing up the like button subscribing Talwar channel. And before I wrap it up today, I wanted to know from you, DaVinci, do you have anything to share before wrap up today’s episode? Yeah, always play from a position of strength and don’t get ranked. Do not get red. Guys, thank you so much for watching and miss each other votes, not the next one. I mean, Krypto already tomorrow. Make sure your screen. OHHH WOW!!!! DAVINCIJ15 SELLING HIS HOUSE FOR BITCOIN NOW!!!! [Because of THIS Price Target]
And I’m oh, I’ll be honest, I’m a little nervous because I do like my house and I am happy here. But, you know, it does make sense, right? Because I do believe in the wealth cycle of Bitcoin and we’re going into a supercycle, a very good supercycle because we have one to force it to. Yes, almost certainly guarantees to higher prices. I do agree with you and I’m in with my whole life as well. It’s great to see that you have such an amazing wife actually was also going the risky approach. It’s very, very nice, DaVinci. Nice to see that. Yeah.
