ok so: romance ficlet with F!Suicune who rescued F!AlolanNinetales reader who was drowning after saving her kits from a tsunami/storm. (Bonus points if reader lost her previous mate in the same situation)

Sorry this took so long. I have ask notifications on my phone but Tumblr was stupid and didn't notify me so I didn't see this until a day later. And when I did start writing this, I didn't see who was the reader so I had to start all over. And motivation is a butt sometimes too. Anyways, here it is. :)

You desperately look to the shore. Yes, all of them were on land. You try and swim to your kits but the water was too choppy from the constant storms and you were too tired from swimming back and forth to save your kits. Your kits needed you however, your mate had died saving them from some magmar and they needed someone to take care of them. They were too young to look after themselves. You try as hard as you can to stay above water and hold your breath when a wave overtook you, but you can only go on for so long. You could hear your kits crying for you as you hopelessly try and swim to them.

Then a mysterious pokemon came to your rescue. She ran across the water and pulled you to safety next to your kits. A cold breeze also seemed to follow her, which you quite enjoyed. She looked after all of you until you fully recovered. And to your surprise, she stayed to help you look after your kits. When the magmar that killed your mate returned she successfully warded them off without harm, the magmar were seemingly afraid of her or revering her in some way. 

You constantly wondered why this pokemon saved you from the lake. But after a while of being together, she opened up about who she really was. She was the legendary Suicune and she had known how painful death was. Even though you were threatened by opposite elements, she had empathy for you. She had also been watching you from a distance after your mate had died, secretly falling for you from a distance as you looked after your litter. And after that, you realized that you, too, had fallen for her. Suicune let you mate with others of your kind when you were in heat, but other than that you were hers and she was yours. A tropical ninetales and a legendary beast revived from death by an outside force.
