#fma#fmab#greed the avaricious#bido#my art#doodles#sketchy#anyways. so in philosophy class.#we are learning about determinism which is basically this:#that every single occurrence and action in the world has one or more causes. including human decisions and actions.#which raises the question: if everything we ever do or choose is determined by causes both internal and external then can we say that we#have free will actually?#if you make a choice. there are many factors that go into that choice. your personality- your opinions- the situation you're in-#all your prior knowledge leading up to your decision- phobias and preferences and etc- everything around you that led up to the decision-#things you might not even notice consciously.#all these things lead to whatever you choose to do. so did you ever have a 'choice' in the first place? if time was wound back.#would you have made a different choice or the same one?#anyways.#philosophy#unreality#the devil's nest
