#alicorn lore is WEIRD because lauren faust's original vision was (infamously) that only the royal sisters would be alicorns #but after she left the show in early season... 2 or 3 ish? they introduced cadence (who was originally a pegasus)#and then of course we all know about twilight. and dont even get me started on flurry heart and whatever g5 is doing atm #ask #my little pony #also the hair thing! the hair thing is where alicorn lore really gets wild imo. they've never explained how their hair works.
