Lemme just dust off this account after eight years for a new hyper-fixation real quick

When the guy you didn't want to sit with on the train (because he was the biggest weirdo around)...
Is the man who is the only one who starts dancing on an empty dance floor (and takes you with him)…
Is the man who would rather die than hurt you...
This is... everything.

This and that of #Argylle #fanart
I've been suffering depression for years and one of the things I missed so much yet hard to do was making fanart. (yep I lost a huge part of my heart since)
Argylle movie definitely made my heart moved in so many ways hehe

what she says: i'm fine
what she means: the division clearly knew that the song now and then was important to rachel, and presumably they knew why and therefore just how much it meant to her, so instead of ignoring it they co-opted it into their mind control so that if it popped up in elly's life then she might know it meant something to her but she was supposed to just think 'oh, it's my song from my music box', however even vogler's best efforts - both as the head of psy ops and in her capacity as mother figure - couldn't completely erase the full depth of feeling that rachel has for aidan so no matter how much ruth encouraged elly to try dating, deep down she *knew* she wasn't single, and her song reminded her heart of that every time she heard it, even though her head had completely forgotten who aidan was

Spoilers about Argylle movie, be warned.
I'm just obssesing about those two so much. And I'm just love when Aidan said
"when I tell you the second I saw you on that train...that's been toughest part...."
"what has?"
"pretending not to love you, kid."
Because it was too OBVIOUS, not for Elli, I suppose, but for the people who watching it...because in every fighting moment, he flirted with her and tried to look as cool as ever. And after the train scene, he shaved and cut his hair! He's just so in love!
If you know some books with the same trope - lost memory, partner tries to you remember them and your history with them, and just remember your past! Let me know!
I guess, Lisa Frankenstein and Argylle are my top movies so far, can't stop thinking about them!

In a surprise to NO ONE, I am still thinking about this movie—particularly about the dance fight scene.
Maybe it’s just a small fandom, or maybe I’m just not searching the correct tags, but did anyone else pick up on the dichotomy between Elly/Rachel and Aidan’s perceived folie-a-deux experience vs how it was being recorded on the Directorate’s camera monitors?
Like, when we’re in the character’s presence/reality, we experience the euphoria of their reconnection with swelling music, bright colors, beaming smiles, complex choreography, and a complete disregard for the laws of physics; but when we switch to Bryan Cranston’s POV the camera feed is just a standard (possibly even greyscale thanks to the filter to see through the smokescreens?) gunfight. I’m pretty sure the movie cuts directly from them doing the whirlybird to Bryan Cranston watching them both standing on the ground, both shooting over the other’s back 🤔
ANYWAY, this movie is a lot of fun, and after the egregious fumbling the newest Mission Impossible movie did with Ilsa’s character it was such a delight to watch a silly spy movie where love fucking wins. I would watch 1,000 more of these.
