It’s 12 days til Christmas and these are a few of my favourite things @hducarte Well I guess it’s just one thing! ☺️ I designed and made this art quilt in 2014. It’s made with fabric by quilting, appliquéing, felting wool and a bit of embroidery. It took 75 hours from start to finish and I had it professionally framed to have it some day in our home. It has been in my quilt shop since I made it and has been to quilt shows and other events on display. Finally this fall it made it into our new home here in Saskatchewan. This house is north of where I grew up and I created my novel series, The Abbington Pickets series, around this house. In real life this house/farm was called “Rosemont” but in my novel I call it “Crocus Flats”.
