Girls when they can't for the life of them find their original save file from their acekard containing their first pokemon game and first pokemon and the only save file they can find only has 4 pokemon on it confusing them leaving them to belit the save might somehow be corrupted in such a specific way that it wiped the entire pc and party except for 4 pokemon they have 0 attachment to

to anyone struggling to make the calendar show properly on custom wood r4 themes (bcuz it took me a bit to get them to work):

a thing to keep in mind is that wood r4 has the acekard ui or whatever so don’t look up “r4 themes”, look for acekard ones instead

the calendar (and the clock) probably won’t show as it should, like there aren’t any numbers

fortunately the solution is simple as hell:

Once u downloaded ur theme and unzipped it, open its folder

If there’s not a “calendar” folder, then create it.

Then, u will put the files “clock_colon.bmp”, “clock_numbers.bmp”, “day_numbers.bmp” and “year_numbers.bmp” in that folder

If that still doesn’t work, then go back to the main folder, and open the “uisettings” file (use any text editor, notepad, notepad++ idk)

Scroll until u see this:

[big clock]

x = (any number)

y = (any number)

show = (1 or 0)

u will see the same thing below that one, except they are called [calendar year], [calendar month] and [calendar day]

If any of them says “show = 0″ then change it to “show = 1″ (so it’ll show whatever number it’s supposed to show)

Man say what you want abot cheatcodes, but the quality of life you get out of them when you have only so much time to spare for a quick game or two is a sofa for the soul. If it hadn’t been for my AceKard and infinite money cheats, rather than finishing Front Mission today I’d be stuck at the second mission save-scumming the Arena for chump change like lmao I already gotta grind my ass off with gacha games, just give me money cheats and experience multipliers so I can burn through RPGs at my own leisure

Also today I was excited cos I thought I could upgrade my acekard 2 to work on my 3ds but apparently, acekard website shut down and thus nothing can be done. 

r4 cartridges arent around anymore but i think acekard cartridges are? they work much the same but afaik theyre rarely actually up to date

you can still get secondhand r4 cartridges but theyre pretty pricey. there’s a couple of different options tho (like acekard) that are actively still being made
