WiP - Face up for Darjeeling

She was fun to paint, but I expected that :)

I was not 100% set on her details but I think dots fit the most. I was kind of tempted to give her golden highlights but decided to keep it like this, I hope it will look nice with ther dress once it's here.

Feature for Darjeeling <3 Mom borrowed me her fancy old can for the pics ;w; I have fancy cups and dishes but no ... can.

Darjeeling truly is a very cute doll, I would love to take photo with her at a real tea party, bet that would look amazing.

Boxopening - MOMODOLLHOUSE Order

It's rare that I buy outfits these days and this one was for a doll to complete it... therefore I thought a boxopening would be great <3

I got a dress set for Darjeeling along with shoes and a smaller dress. The small dress is later to be tested with the Penny's Box Bodies to see if I have clothing options for the Patchlings with Nendo sized cloth.

But up to the main event here. The maid dress set for Darjeeling.

I have to say for a set that was advertised with "two pieces" it comes with a ton of details, underwear, bloomers, socks, the dress, headpiece AND the apron. Wow.

And the thing that made me happy the most was that the color matches with the red shoes I got her.

Here she is <3 all finished.

Of course I aim to take some better photos with her but my week was hectic and the sun was about to set. Maybe on the weekend then =)

Boxopening - Darjeeling (Abingbing Empty 1/6 variant)

Here she is C: my little teapod - Darjeeling!

She's my second Akuma OC aside Abigail and she's basically a super hyper kid that just loves to try to cheer everybody up and tries hard (but sometimes does too much) and is thankful that she was able to finish of the person who murdered her (... and then wanted her back... creep).

No, I really know what will be happening, these are all Dolls that have at least parts ordered or are here even and wait for things.

Lenalee (Little Monica Bella x Myou Body) - Need to sew for, Face up Repaint

Sokrates (Logan.Dolls Pan/Jac-o-Leery) Waits for Body, need to sew for

Kanda (Little Monica Little Enrill) - Waits for body, need to sew for

Janet (LenaRuiis Pallu) - Waiting for Doll, need to sew for, face up

Reese (PeachyDayDreams Viviane x Kid's Sky Body) - Sanding head, face up, sewing

Patchlings (Mirror's Pumpkin Friends x Penny's Box Bodies) - Face ups for all 4

Maple (Sleepy Sheepys Dreams Batrina) - Wait for body, sewing, sanding head, face up

Bookman (The Broken Maiden lunl) - Waits for body, sewing, hair

Lavi (Ling Tai Studio - Zhu Hong Human) - Waits for body, face up, sewing

Adam (Conarium Doll Wuhan) - Waits for body, face up, sewing

Darjeeling (Abingbing - Empty) - Waits for head, face up, sewing

Clown!Allen/Allen's battle head (Withdoll Ian) - Wigs, Face ups, sewing outfits

Yup, it's a lot, but some will be done quite fast and there is no need for me to rush. Some I can't even work on as parts need to arrive first.

I have two possible candidates on my wishlist for Link and Johnny (maybe), so we will see. And Pumpkins always are invited to join the patch.

Character Designs for Reese and Darjeeling C:

Reese (PeachyDayDreams Viviane) is inspired by Reese's Pieces, hence her name and the overall design is a tribute to peanut butter cups because they are a very halloween-y candy for me. Of course Reese's pumpkins are even better but their wrapping is not THAT inspiring XD

Also I got another little head which is this adorable Teapot by Abingbing... who knows me know I am a complete tea addict. I chug tea like other people chug lemonade. She's a little victorian maid and I plan to paint her accordingly C: She will be another Akuma OC, you will meet her later on I guess. But her main backstory will take place in the Outtake Chapters (I write those for fun and for now I don't plan to publish them as they don't make sense without the whole AU in before).

Oh and fyi I am aiming to put down all my references or tributes for the dolls somewhere, that you can look it all up, if I had any you most likely find them under their character tag or mentioned in my art portfolio. I will not constantly mention things like "inspired by Reese's Peanut Butter Cups" but I will do somewhere. As I think it's just fair to tell when you got inspired by something to show some love towards your source/inspiration.
