MBE Group Receives Automotive Communications Award at AAPEX 2023
Troy, Mich. – December 12, 2023 – Marx Buscemi Eisbrenner Group (MBE Group), a full-service marketing communications agency highly focused in the automotive, mobility, trucking, tech and consumer goods industries, received an Automotive Communications Award, presented by Women in Auto Care at the 2023 Automotive Aftermarket Product Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas.
The prestigious awards, announced on Nov. 1, 2023, recognizes companies and agencies for their outstanding advertising, marketing and public relations efforts in the automotive aftermarket.
MBE Group earned the Business-to-Consumer Award for Best Digital Display Ad, for a campaign the company developed for Armorlite, a complete replacement flooring and cargo system for the off-road vehicle market. The campaign, called “Interior as Tough as the Exterior,” reflects the company’s 150-year heritage of designing durable flooring systems for the global automotive industry.

Armorlite is recognized within the off-roading community as providing “tough” complete replacement flooring systems for Jeeps®. The campaign was designed to showcase the off-roading experience while demonstrating that the product goes well beyond ordinary floor mats. The “Interior as Tough as the Exterior” digital display campaign launched in January 2023 and was part of a full digital advertising campaign including Meta and Search ads.
The award-winning campaign strategy was targeted toward Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator owners who had previously visited the Armorlite website. Retargeting ads were essential in the success of the campaign and part of a larger initiative to focus on conversions from previous site visitors rather than on awareness to generate new visitors. Through the campaign, conversions increased by 300 percent, resulting in a cost per acquisition (CPA) that was 69 percent lower than the previous year.

SKF announces two new aftermarket products to debut at AAPEX 2023
SKF has announced it is headed to the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) 2023, where it plans to reveal two new products for its U.S. automotive aftermarket product lineup.
SKF will debut its new Smart Air Purification System and Timing Chain Kits, as well as showcase several of its current automotive
technologies, in its exhibit space at AAPEX, which will be held Oct. 31-Nov. 2 at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas.

"Our booth highlights SKF's continued commitment to developing industry-leading automotive aftermarket products that help automotive service professionals keep vehicles on the road."

SKF Smart Air Purification System
SKF's Smart air purification system upgrades most vehicles' factory-installed cabin air filter with next-generation OEM air purification technology, offering a greater level of air purification to filter impurities, such as pollen, smoke and particulate matter from wildfires and heavy traffic.
The Smart air purification system combines particle-charging technology with an optimized filter to provide a constant flow of clean, fresh air, reduce carbon dioxide levels and flush out odors, airborne viruses, and bacteria. The particle-charging technology gives airborne particles an electrical charge as they enter the system, making them "stickier" so they get trapped more effectively in the filter. The system is particularly effective at capturing the ultrafine and most harmful particles, such as those stemming from wildfires, heavy traffic, and brake wear. An air quality monitor and mobile app allows the driver to monitor and control the vehicle's air quality and compare it with the quality of outside air.
"Vehicle owners can replace the cabin air filter with the SKF Smart air purification system and connect it to the fuse box to turn their vehicle into a powerful air purifier," Shevket said.
SKF's Smart air purification system will be available in November through leading online e-commerce platforms and at many automotive parts stores.
SKF Timing Chain Kits
SKF's new lineup of timing chain kits, packaged with all components needed for a complete engine timing chain replacement, feature an anti-friction chain for maximum strength and durability.
The kit's components, including sliding guides, chain tensioners, and sprockets, are completely redesigned with high-strength, heat-treated steel for optimal performance and the latest wear-resistant technology to increase longevity. Engineered for optimal stretch, the timing chain prevents unnecessary friction or slippage between the chain and sprocket teeth.
The kits are highly customized to perfectly match vehicle specifications and facilitate faster replacement.
"The SKF kits are engineered with components that meet OE specifications and mesh together perfectly, reducing risks associated with assembling components from different sources," Shevket said.
The timing chain kits, backed by SKF's warranty, are available through SKF's website, e-commerce websites and local automotive parts retailers.
