thanks to the black sails server for making me remember how fucking unhinged i am about 2x08-10… and like. not for the normal reasons… Actual Plot is happening, and i cannot stop thinking about this fucking Rope.

#like listen. i love a good Death Clock. i do.#but there is NOTHING like a Death Rope #The Murder Rope/Reverse Parallel Rhombus as an overall Concept is what made me fall in love with Black Sails #i was sooooooooo cynical and suspicious of it after my very rushed first watch #but then i got to That Part in 1x01 and you can actually PRECISELY pinpoint the moment i fell in love #which is probably why i’m soooooooooooo weird about You Know Whomst #it’s them and their stupid fucking foreshadowing’s fault that i’m fucking here 😂😂#so i can’t not have a certain fondness and fascination for the whole thing #i need to refind the post i made ages ago and reblog it #a quick search was no help but i’ll find it via mass post editor tomorrow!#i need it for my Business #i also need to Actually Rewatch #maybe possibly will start a rewatch after my cousin leaves next week #it’s vaguely a plan!
