Yogurtland, 13842 Newport Ave, Tustin, CA 92780
Tumblr media
Fro-yo girl here. I’m still trying to visit all the Yogurtland locations…found this one on the way to the new Golden Spoon. Yogurtland opened at the Newport & Walnut Center, a small strip mall in 2008.
This location looks very small from the outside but it does have 16 flavors & the usual amount of Yogurtland toppings for $0.74/oz. They didn’t have the deluxe sauces, whipped cream, or fruit purees, but they did have the new toppings, heart shaped jellies and star shaped jellies. Other toppings included fruit (huge pieces of strawberries), popping boba, sauces, cheesecake, brownies, cookie dough, candy, sprinkles, cereal, chocolate chips, mochi, nuts, etc.
I wasn’t greeted or offered sample cups. I noticed that this location didn’t post the available flavors on the Yogurtland app and website. The toppings bar and shop looked clean.
Flavors of the day:
Plain tart
Creamy vanilla ice cream
Rich chocolate ice cream
Classic cookies & cream
Milk & honey
Strawberry mango sorbet
Toasted coconut
Matcha strawberry: it’s good though I do prefer the matcha flavor and the strawberry flavor (not the combination), smooth and creamy in texture
Fresh strawberry
Alphonso mango tart
Birthday cupcake batter
Non-dairy oatmeal cookies
Not available
Chocolate hazelnut cake
French vanilla NSA
I wanted to use my Yogurtland reward and for some reason was only credited $2.07 when the reward was over $4. I’m not sure why I wasn’t able to use the full reward. I don’t always like their flavors, but they do a good job of coming up with interesting new flavors, new toppings, and promotions.
The interior is small but has that typical Yogurtland look with the green square tiles. There was a freezer with prepacked froyo that said buy one, get one free.
Sign up for Real Rewards to collect points and earn free froyo. Parking was easy to find. I didn’t see any outdoor seating.
You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

Golden Spoon Frozen Yogurt, 1090 Irvine Blvd, Tustin, CA 92780
Tumblr media
Fro-yo girl here. Golden Spoon has returned to Tustin, the city where it was founded in 1983. The grand opening took place on April 7, with free minis (up to two flavors, with toppings) for guests.
Froyo flavors of the day:
Old fashion vanilla
Just chocolate
Peanut butter cup
Salted caramel
Cake batter
Cotton candy
Mango, non-dairy
Banana cream pie
Black cherry tart: smooth, thick, tangy, probably not natural but I do like a tart cherry froyo, their tart flavors have improved compared to years ago
Strawberry, no sugar added: smooth, thick, sweet – not much strawberry flavor and a bit of an aftertaste
Choose from ten froyo flavors a day. The number of toppings offered was typical for a froyo shop and included popping boba, fruit, candy, cookies, nuts, sprinkles, chocolate chips, cheesecake, brownies, cookie dough, etc.. There were a few warm sauces offered.
Prices: Mini ($4.75)/ Regular ($5.75)/ Large ($6.75)/ Quart ($15.50). Cake and waffle cones are available. From the posted prices, I could not tell if toppings were included or extra.
The mini was a generous size and the yogurt texture was smooth and thick. They put the toppings in the middle. The froyo was served with a golden spoon. If the servings continue to be generous, then GS is a better value than the Yogurtland that’s less than a mile away.
The shop had a soft opening last week. It looked new and clean inside. I also spotted milkshake machines, though I didn’t see shakes on the menu today. Parking was easy to find in the strip mall.
You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

Yogurtland, 15090 Kensington Park Dr., Ste 410, Tustin, CA 92780
Tumblr media
Fro-yo girl here. This is the newer of the two Yogurtland locations in Tustin; it opened last year in what looks to be a fairly new shopping center called Tustin Legacy. The interior has the newer, more mature look with light wood replacing most of the white and green square tiles. The location definitely looks nice and new. It has a few tables outside and no giant spoon door handles.
There are 14 self-serve froyo flavors a day, and two beverages that are also self-serve for 49 cents an ounce. I was greeted when I entered but not offered sample cups. However, after I entered the owner arrived and she offered sample cups to those who entered. The employee handed me two sample cups. They seemed understaffed.
The toppings bar is the same size as a typical Yogurtland. Toppings include cereal, candy, cookies, chocolate chips, coconut, fruit, popping boba, nuts, sprinkles, mochi, cheesecake, etc. They also have the premium syrups/sauce dispenser with chocolate shell, peanut butter sauce, marshmallow sauce, caramel sauce, and hot fudge and whipped cream dispenser. Some of the toppings are seasonal. The drinks are $2.99 each with unlimited toppings.
Flavors of the day:
White chocolate raspberry Love Potion: It’s good but it’s not tangy at all. The white chocolate tampers the tang of the raspberry. It’s mild and pleasant.
Citrus C sorbet
Cheesecake
Fresh strawberry
Alphonso mango tart: Also a good flavor but quite sweet for a tart froyo
Toasted Coconut
Birthday cupcake batter
Red velvet cupcake batter
Cookies & cream
Caramel almond bar
Plain tart: Arguably their best froyo flavor, pretty flavorful, not too icy or too creamy, nice tanginess
Chocolate twilight NSA
Peanut butter: I really like this flavor, though the yogurt itself was a little soft (just a little). The yogurt mutes the peanut butter flavor but you can still taste the fresh roasted peanuts. Very nice. I usually get this flavor if I’m not getting tart froyo.
Vanilla ice cream
Chocolate ice cream
Coffee frappe (beverage)
Vanilla milkshake (beverage)
I noticed several puddles of froyo beneath the froyo machines. They weren’t busy, so it seems like they could have kept the place cleaner. But the toppings area was clean. When I walked up, the employee was looking at his cell phone.
There are a few small tables inside and a few outside. Hand sanitizer is available by the froyo cups. There’s a bathroom. Sign up for Real Rewards to collect points and earn free froyo. Take it to go to avoid paying sales tax. The flavors change often, so use the Real Rewards or Yogurtland website flavor finder feature.
You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.
