My current computer simply cannot run BG3 right now (gaming laptop will ride again come august if all goes okay so it's fine) which is infuriating because I NEED to put my little brienne of tarth-joan of arc-coded paladin girlie into the game and I need to make her life even worse.

@kyukicho said: ❛ good morning . Izana from Kakucho
loud & deafening silence
❛ good morning . kiss my muse the morning after .
A noise of complaint drags from somewhere between his chest and throat as Izana feels the bed shift with Kakucho’s weight moving. But it isn’t that which bothers him. It’s the sudden warmth that separates itself from his back that leaves his skin breaking out in goosebumps for a moment even though it wasn’t that cold.
Izana forces his eyes open to look over his shoulder towards Kakucho. God they were up all night and he was still getting up to work out? It was too damn early. He watches through tired eyes, making no attempt at acting as if he were going to get up from where he was curled up in the sheets. He wonders how long it will till Kakucho notices the amethyst peering through snowy lashes, watching how he moves.
The answer is not long. Izana lifts his chin slightly to accept the kiss from Kakucho. It’s gentler than the usual ones, softened by drowsiness as he sinks into the kiss and savors the fuzzy glow to it. But that doesn’t mean it’ll spare a tired tease.
“ Did I not wear you out enough last night? “ Izana murmurs against his lips, and then his lips quirk up into a smile. Poor Kakucho will probably scramble for an answer even this early. But Izana feels a bit merciful. “ I’m kidding. “ He adds shortly after, pressing his lips back against Kakucho’s in another kiss meant to reassure.
“ Have fun training. “ Izana sinks himself back into the warmth of the blankets, pulled tighter now that Kakucho had moved. “ I’ll see you in a couple hours. “ When Izana decided to actually get out of bed.

*cracks knuckles* well if I'm gonna work on my OCs and now that someone's reminded me how actually tragic Echo is
Let's talk about Jasmine and her relationship with Echo
I feel like they would get really close if they ever met. I think Julien would tell Echo about her in a way he wouldn't tell Zane because he was scared Zane would tell others someday. Echo won't ever leave the lighthouse, so he can't tell anyone. He would know about Julien's other child, but he would figure it's Zane, the one he replaced. When they meet, once they figured out they were related, I think Echo would realize and want to tell Jasmine what he knows. Julien wanted to know her but couldn't. He left her because it's what was best for her. I think Echo would want to imagine Julien left him for those kinds of reasons too.
I think they would bond over being abandoned by Julien. Jasmine before she was born, Echo long after. I think they'd each envy each other, in a way. They both resent him (even if they won't admit it), but Jasmine resents him never being there. Echo resents him being there so much, only to leave him. Echo would fill in the gaps for Jasmine on who he was, while Echo is more eager to hear about the life Jasmine lived in the wide world, especially on her own.
I think they'd have a super close bond, I think they should visit Jasmine's home and have a snowball fight, I think she should take him to Borg Industries and watch Echo go starry eyed at all the cool technology, I think Jasmine would help replace his rusted gears and wires with ones that won't deteriorate as easily, i think she'd teach him how to garden and befriend animals and i think echo would be so thrilled to get away from the sea
I think if Echo and Jasmine ever got to meet, they'd find a comfort in each other and a confidant about some of their issues that no one else could provide

i feel like noting something rn for the non-brazilians
rozzi’s journal has a moment that implies she was nicknamed bela/bella (from isabela, or isabella, depends on whether the parent is close or distant from the brazilian equivalent of kayghtleighn parents, which is something like my sister’s classmate who was named ysabelly)
that wouldn’t happen, i think. i’ve only ever seen isa as a nickname for isabela. partially because, like
you know how calling someone bella is like ooo it sounds ~foreign~ so americans pull that shit all the time in media with a foreigner that’d speak french, italian, or spanish when they’re flirting with a lady?
it’s not a foreign word here. when directed towards a person it’s basically like saying they’re gorgeous or beautiful. brazilian translation of beauty in beauty and the beast is bela
it’s choosing to call a little girl a word that deliberately means beautiful. yeah, there’s non-weird connotations, but it would sound kinda weird and a bit creepy, so if you had the choice you’d just pick the other part of the name that will not sound weird
realistically she’d be nicknamed isa and to me it’s mildly funny that they could not get the names 100% right every time because of a technicality

My main issue with the conversations we have about media and how moral it is is that there's actual, tangible suffering and death in real life we can work on instead. I don't really care if I'm watching a horror movie that's not giving the women agency because it's not real, but I care very much about women not being assaulted in real life. I only have so much energy, though, so if I focus all of that on how to tell the One Perfect Horror Story, I'm not focusing it on getting women access to healthcare, which is the thing that will really help.
